Scar wanders about, looking for other animals, when he spots a lone elk. He slowly wanders over to it and lunges out of the brush. The Elk flees from the bear, the Scar eventually closes the gap and takes the elk down. He pins the poor creatue to the ground and snaps its neck, killing it instantly. Scar then begins to eat his kill........

Titanis made his way to the water's edge, the Thylacine looked both ways wearingly to make sure there weren't any larger predators nearb before he beganm to drink up some water...

Obviously not noticing Nightbane's reaction, Redtail continued. "Yeah. You're always stealing kills from other predators who aren't strong enough to fight back and stuff like that. Why do you think my kind have been reduced to scavengers?"

"Perhaps if 'your kind' were more capable, you'd still be hunters rather than scavengers...and...as it happens, it looks more like you're stealing My kill this time....or rather, i'm generously giving you access to what i would usually kill you just for looking at" growled Nightbane, his tone innocent, almost as if the subject was such harmless things as the weather or the green-ness of grass...

Redtail looked up at Nightbane with a confused look. "Are you serious? What, do you honestly think I could handle you one on one in a fight? I don't think so. And my name is Redtail, not 'jackal.'"

"Well if you were so courtious as to give me a name to call you by, maybe i would call you Jackal, would i? and yes, in the right environment, even you could hold your own in a fight with me. sure you wouldn't be able to kill me, or even seriously hurt me....but i wouldn't be able to hurt you either" growled Nightbane...

"Harass your target. i'm a bad example. the front end of me is death to anything that tries to take me head on. but with most others, you can target their arms after swipes, gnaw at their legs and tails, get on their backs if you think they'd have trouble rolling, and so on and so forth" growled Nightbane...

Now having quenched his thirst, Titanis sneaked into the scrubland, the smell of a nearby dead animal being the reason for his actions...

after a few moments and a whole limb of his meal passing, he moved in, pushing the Jackal aside. "Unless you haven't noticed, this was MY meal...so if you don't mind...i'm going to take my share" he rumbled, putting a paw on the corpse's hind quarters and clamping his jaws shut around the spine, before pulling hard, ripping the upper half of the kill loose, dragging it away and leaving the half skeletonised hind quarters for the jackal. he then proceeded to eat his fill...

Ripper and Lock Jaw decided to travel further down the river, they left after a few minutes and eventually it came to a dead end, so they went back up to their territory, seeing a Gazelle drinking, Ripper snuck up to it and propelled himself some few metres up crunching his jaws on the Gazelles head and crushing it with his strength, as he started to consume it.

Titanis continued to patrol the scubland area, the Thylacine's foot came down upon a partially-covered dead Musk Deer, Titanis then bite down into the carcass and began to feast once he completly unearthed it...
