"Well, that's new," Yoruichi commented, unable to keep from grinning as she headed down the stairs ahead of her friend. "Keep your eyes in your head, Jojo. You might just lose them."

The eye stalks turned the green pupiled orbs around and pulled them back into the ink hound's head. He blinked a few times as they locked back in place. He started down the stairs after Yoruichi, tongue flopping around at the side of his mouth

Well, nothing burned, so I guess Ira's alright for now, Yoruichi thought as she headed back into the kitchen and stole one of Ira's energy drinks. That's good. I'd hate to see her do something she'd regret - or that would end with her injuring herself further.

JoJo, who was running at full speed, slid across the kitchen floor. He bumped into the back of Yoruichi's right leg. He shook his head and thn sat, looking up at the girl and panting happilly. He had begun to think of Yoruichi as a master, the closest thing to Blake before they all got seperated.

The black-haired teen staggered, her leg nearly buckling under the force if the impact, glad she hadn't opened her drink yet. She turned to look at Jojo, raising an eyebrow as if to say Really? even as her lips curved into a small, amused smile.

Gaara stared at the dog, amused with it's antics. "Energetic, isn't he?" he said, his tone quiet, as if not accustomed to speaking; a result of extended periods of silent thought...

"To say the least," Yoruichi replied in amused tones, popping the seal. She took a sip, setting the can down afterward just in case.

JoJo barked, as if to agree before lying down on the floor. He rolled over and wriggled on the floor. His hanging tongue was just short of an eye...

Ira stopped playing, getting to her feet and moving back to the window. Her head was still feeling as if someone with a jackhammer were trying to break through her skull from the inside. She leaned against the wall, feeling sick and weak. Sliding to the floor, she reached up and pressed a hand to her forehead, as if the pain would go away if she put pressure on her head. She recognized the ache - she'd had the same pain right before she had her vision of Yoruichi. Please...let me pass out or something soon, she thought. So I don't have to go through this.

After a few moments, JoJo rolled back onto his feet. He had just begun to wonder if this was the place his friend was living now. He looked about inquisitively, wondering if he should go look around the place...

Ira couldn't have told anyone what happened next. She didn't pass out - but she was suddenly standing in an unfamiliar room, facing a large painting of the snake and rose tattoo. She looked around, blinking, and spotted a young man standing, staring out of a window. His dark hair was streaked with crimson, which glinted like wet blood. "So Eleven is dead," he said quietly, not turning his head. He seemed to be speaking to himself. Ira could only assume this was Zero. The description fit, down to the last detail, except for the fact that Zero had his own tattoo. The same one he had painted on the wall. The sleeveless shirt he wore, exposing the mark, was black, and its collar reached up to hug his throat. His skin was pale, but it was natural, not the result of too much time spent indoors. When he finally turned his head enough to see his face, Ira felt her eyes narrow. Slitted pupils. So Eleven hadn't been lying when he'd said Zero was another demon. Then she was back in her room, breathing hard as if she'd run a mile. her headache was going away. She closed her eyes, leaning her head against the wall. She just wanted this day to be over already.

Mean while in the western desert...

There was a hum as a curved silver sheet of metal began to slide in a spinning motion. It revealed the mist covered glass tube inside. A section of the glass swung out, the fog rolling out along the floor. Metalic arms lowered the alien pilot's clothing from a compartment above, and shortly after Galaak stepped out of his shower, though he didnt have his boots on. The metal panel slid back around, locking in place with a thump. Galaak sat back at the ship controls. The the solar panels that blocked the windshield folded back up, allowing the alien to see the light of the rising sun on the horizon. The light casted back the shadows that gripped the sandy landscape. Galaak then looked to the device he had left on a display before picking it up and fastening it to his wrist. Another day on this planet. He sighed. He tapped a fairly large black button, a blue ring of light appearing around it. The ship's blackened displays lit up, various hums clicks and clanks sounding off about the craft...

JoJo sat down, looking at his master with expectant eyes. He did want to go looking about the place, but he had to make sure there werent any boundries that he couldnt cross...

Seeing the look, Yoruichi sighed. "Go on. Just don't break anything," she said, taking another mouthful of her drink. "Ira would skin me alive if you did," she muttered, not really intending either of her friends to hear.

One of JoJo's floppy ears rose above the other, catching a part of Yoruichi's mumble. Without spending too much time on the matter, the ink hound turned tail and headed back for the stairs...

The scores of alien text rolled across the screen with beeps and blips, detailing the repairs that were made over night. The light blue markings was suddenly contrasted by bright red words.

"Interplanetary Space flight inoperative. Hyperdrive disabled. Manual diagnostic required"

Galaak cringed inwardly. He pounded his fists down on the ship's controls. "Damn!" He snarled. "So I am truelly stranded on this planet then..." He let his gaze fall. "And I dont suppose the humans are a space faring race.... do they even know of a quantum drive?!" It all seemed hopeless...

Ira had slipped into a light doze, exhausted from the stress of the day. She wasn't quite asleep - but she wasn't really awake, either.

The ink dog walked through the hallways of the house, looking about as if what ever he saw was being photographed and engraved in his mind. He came up to a doorway to what seemed to be a labyrinth of book cases. "Blake didnt have one of these..." he thought as he slunk through, walking up to one of the book cases. An inky tendril shot out, latching onto a random book out of the many rows. It yanked the book out and it fell with a soft thump on the floor. The dog fiddled with it a bit, trying to get it open with his mouth and paws, but then resorted to forming thin hands and arms to manipulate the object.

As Galaak leaned back in his chair, trying to come to terms with the situation, his dead black eyes noticed something- a mere foot note in the ship's logs. It was dated just moments after his ship was struck by that asteroid on his way to the galactic sector. Another life form had gotten onto his ship; the bio-energy signiture the creature gave off was matched to a known one- a symbiote. Galaak's eyes widened. The fact he wasnt attacked when he got back his vessel could only mean one thing. That symbiote was loose, probably had a host, and probably ready to replicate it self. If it did, it would be the start of a symbiote epidemic. Galaak's gaze fixed into a glare. "All systems activate!" He commanded. The flight controls initiated. The glowing orb of light appeared and Galaak placed his hands inside, the ship rising off from the sandy ground. The landing gear slid back into the hull. With full navi-com systems online, the alien set a bee line coarse for New York City, where he crashed weeks prior...

Gaara sighed as he stood, saying "I'm going to go get some first aid....help patch that wound of Ira's up properly. i don't suppose you'd know if there's any in the house, would you?"...

"Might be something in the bathroom," Yoruichi said, finishing her drink. She threw the empty can in the trash and headed for the stairs, intending to check.

JoJo raised the book up and cocked his head. He couldnt read the thing, but then again, he didnt think he could to begin with. Still, he wondered why there were so many of these books here. Surely no one could read them all. With a bored growl, JoJo put the book back up on the shelf before wandering out of the room.

Galaak clenched his hands into fists and forced them forward. The engine housed deep within the craft's hull gave off a bright neon green glow as it put out even more power. The blue ship shot through the skies, the desert slowly blending into grassland as the alien made his way over the Great Plains, a metalic streak in the sky....

Ira jolted awake with a soft hiss as her wound gave a nasty throb. She slowly got up off the floor and went to sit on her bed, cracking her neck as she did to get rid of the stiffness in it. She leaned against the headboard with a sigh, closing her eyes and leaning her head back.
