MKG spotted the direction in which Vasra had leapt and flew forward in continued pursuit. Megapede, having also seen the strange monster leap, tunneled into the ground again, heading in the direction of the vibrations coming from the footsteps the golem was making...

Another spike. The creature had reappeared...so soon after its battle with the terrorist forces. The energy burst was unexpected...rather then a secluded area away civilization, it seemed to have manifested outside of a major civilian city. After what they had seen against the PWNT mechs...they needed to mobilize quickly, or the city would surely fall.

The flash of light was obvious to all. It overpowered even the light of the sun for a moment, drawing the attention of many of the city's inhabitants, though they could see little in the distance. GDF operatives that acted as the city's defense began contacting the nearest GDF installations, knowing what the flash meant, and feared for their safety and the safety of the civilians. Far from the seeking eyes of the humans, Aeonus landed with a massive thud, no longer levitating. A number of the strange mutated creatures stood around it, still as stone. Thin, wispy streams of pure energy were snaking off of them, flowing back into Aeonus itself. Where it had given them power, it was now taking said power back. The creatures were able to replicate quickly...they would not suffer from a few losses. In front of the time-bound being, the dirt began to stir. Spires of dirt rose up from the ground, slowly modeling into incredibly detailed structures, mimicking the city in the distance. The chaotic energy in Aeonus' eyes seemed to intensify.

As the replica finished its formation, Aeonus began to move, the energy snaking toward it disappearing, the creatures it had absorbed the energy from completely shattering into fine dust-like particles, completely drained of life. Reaching out with a clawed tendril, the alien being positioned it near one of the tallest spires. The tendril suddenly grasped the structure, somewhat slowly, crushing its midsection to the point of collapse. In the distance...the real structure began to groan. Slowly, massive cracks spread from its midsection, snaking around its entire girth before, with a massive groan, the top half of the spire completely broke off, collapsing down onto the base, causing the entire building to collapse.

Another tendril raked its way across the entire length of the replica city, smashing through many small dirt buildings, while partially destroying others in one swift motion. Ahead, the city reacted accordingly: Structures were blown apart as if they had been hit by explosives, debris flying in all directions, some smaller buildings completely destroyed, while other skyscrapers were damaged to the point of slow collapse, some even falling into others, causing those too to fall. Soon, most of the city was surrounded by dust caused by the destruction...

...However, the GDF, by then, had evacuated many of the civilians into the underground bunkers, which were designed to withstand monster attacks. Many lives were lost, that was for sure...but with the advanced warning, the city's inhabitants would survive...should help arrive...

Red monster moved across the plains on all fours, hulking limbs shaking the Earth anytime they touched down. Now lumbering across Savanah, the blood scaled titan caught sight of the bat like creatures, Gyaos. They were a staple of his diet, the more stable prey source than the average mutation, which once died would be the end of its species. Atleast the Gyaos were able to reproduce and replace lost numbers. The creature was perched over another mutant, fallen in battle. Its flesh was flayed and the corpse bloody. It was suprising there wasnt a whole party of them; the monsters having more vulture like tendancies. MegaMouth let out a a rattling hiss at the creature. It turned it head. With a snarl, flames flew out of the corners of MegaMouth's maw. The creature took one last bite out of the corpse before shooting off into the air. MegaMouth moved to the kill and slammed his hands down upon it, keeping it still as he slammed his massive jaws onto the rhino like monster's hide and began ripping off meat...

Vasra slid around a corner, the insane golem sprinting through the street, low to the ground. With any luck, the dragon would attempt to chase him and he could engage it up close.

Setsus pivoted on one foot, spinning to the side before continuing, flames from the explosion licking around his armour. Straighting up, his arm shot up, pulse blaster glowing. The weapon fired a concentrated beam of energy over the space of one tenth of a second. The beam struck Placentra right in the head, exploding with extreme force...

A PWNT spy craft was sent to the scene, another Sub launching the missile like pod towards the city to observe Aeonus.

Seeing Vasra go around the corner of a building, but wary of a trap, MKG flew up higher yet as he followed the odd monster, Behind the fleeing creature, the ground erupted as Megapede's head emerged, firing a stream of acid at Vasra's "back" before submerging again...

Placentra was blown off his feet, doing several spazztic cartwheels towards the sidewalk. Suddenly in midflip, he slammed his hand onto the ground. His optics were scrambled for the moment, but he could still detect Setsus' signal. A turret turned and started firing upon the source before momentum from the blast threw him off again. Flipping right side up, Placentra planted his ball bearing feet down and threw himself into a crouch, sliding across the ground with sparks jumping off his legs. His vision coming back to him in flickers, Placentra got up, rockets primed and turrets ready...

Vasra stumbled forward, his body melting away rapidly. He skidded to a halt, hunkering low to the ground and trying to shake the liquid off, steam rising from the disintegrating metal. He held both hands out, several purple lines snaking their way through the road. With a sudden movement, he threw them downwards, the road suddenly cracking and collapsing downward, compounding down wards and leaving a sheer crater as he tried to crush the subterranean monster.

Setsus moved in a circle around Placentra, side stepping swiftly. Realising what his foe was doing, he begun jamming his signal, placing ghosts around the area to confuse the enemy machine. He stopped for a moment, extending his claws and pouncing....

Placentra's optics reactivated. He twisted about to the sound of Setsus' skates scraping across the ground, now seeing that the ape like machine was in the air. Placentra quickly launched himself to the side, his rocket launcher firing a fully prime missile straight at his enemy, the explosion blowing him backwards. Placentra strafed across the ground, skidding to a halt, turrets starting to spin, the precursor to a barrage of shells...

Sensing the vibrations as the ground began to collapse, Megapede increased his burrowing speed, outpacing the falling debrise. Up on the surface, a triple laser beam slammed into the distracted Vasra's back where the metal had been hit by the acid, MKG taking advantage of the time the odd monster had taken to stop and create those strange lines...

Setsus was blown to the side, landing at an angle and recovering into a roll, his chest glowing orange where the missile struck. As he stood up, he swung out his arm, rattling off auto cannon shots, moving towards cover behind a nearby truck.

Vasra fell to the ground, writhing viciously, the triple beam having seared right through it and out the other side. Parts of it's body exploded into flame, energy being distributed all over it. It crawled back to it's feet, scampering away, losing a lot of it's collected mass, the creature's body flickering in and out of view..

MKG didn't stop following the creature, but he took note of how it seemed to be flickering. The next time it reappeared, he sent a gravity beam at it's back...

Clanks sounded off as the shots hit their mark, leaving dents in the Dead Gaze's bio armor. Placentra let out a snarl and broke into a skate, swerving to his right. He slid over to a pile of debris, launching onto it and then springing off onto a building, embedding his hand into the structure. Cracks spread about where his fingers dug in and windows shattered, chunks of brick and glass raining down. His still spinning turrets aimed down and fired back at Setsus, while another missile was being primed for fire...

Vasra crumbled to the ground again, engulfed in fire and writhing in pain as the energy struck through his body. He wasn't corporeal, but as the energy made contact with him, it threatened to over load him. he couldn't take much more of it. Summoning his strength and trying to manipulate the energy coursing through him, he prepared an attack, purple bolts of arcing lightning flashing out around him, grounding against the buildings and the road. He released the energy, a sheer crescent shaped swathe of purple writhing power seering towards MKG, an echoing howl shaking the city. It's edges sliced through the buildings on either side of the street, drawing long glowing gashes in their surface.

Vasra seemed to ignite, his eyes shining like stars, the crescent guiding itself towards MKG and accelerating...


Setsus flattened himself against the road. Bullets rattling through the truck like paper. The truck was more concealment than cover, but helped anyway. He snarled and pushed forward, ramming both clawed hands into the truck and holding it tightly, crumpling the metal. He stepped forward, twisting and swinging the huge vehicle around before releasing it, sending it flying towards Placentra like a spear.

MKG quickly raised his energy shield when he saw the crescent approach him. The attack struck his shield, but was blocked from getting through to the dragon himself. He had noticed that when his gravity beam hit Vasra, it seemed to cause it great pain and oddly, the monster seemed to have caught aflame. Several meters ahead of the odd beast, Megapede emerged from the ground before he jerked his ending segments forward, sending the explosive barbs flying off at their target while the centipede himself then tunneled back into the earth...

Placentra stopped his turrets and sent his spring loaded legs into the building, kicking off of the wall, blowing a hole into the side of it. It was worsened when the truck slammed through, debris raining about the area as parts of the building collapsed. Soaring across the street, the Dead Gaze landed hard on the roof of a store, shorter than the building he was on before. He then skated across it as his turrets spun up once more, intending to leap up onto the next roof, getting aerial shots in on his enemy...

The barbs smashed into a few vehicles held on Vasra's back, shattering them. He glanced over his shoulder at their source, shining eyes narrowing. He pointed a hand at megapede.

When the crescent had hit MKG's shield, the energy had destabilised, collapsing into an exploding ball of fire behind the cyborg dragon. Manipulating it once more, the chaotic energy rushed downwards, arcing over Vasra's head and right into Megapedes chest, the fire ball like stream engulfing the monster and blowing him back


Setsus tracked the other Duvan'rah across the roof. He side stepped and grabbed hold of a taxi, swinging it around and hurling it towards the building Placentra was aiming for, the car crashing through it and destabilising it...

Megapede rolled with the force of the blow the stream had dealt to him, back on all of his legs again. He had seen that the barbs didn't seem to have had much of an effect on Vasra beyond destroying some of the vehicles that remained on it's back. The centipede's chest had a large scorch mark on it, but nothing life threatining. While Vasra was focused, a triple laser beam streaked into him, but MKG didn't have the beam last as long as his gravity beam had, the goal mainly to get the on fire creature to turn it's attention back to him...

Suddenly, the Duvan'Rah swerved, launching himself off the edge of the building, changing tactics. He fired his primed missile down at Setsus, while his turrets fired down upon the monkey like mech. Placentra had launched himself in a way that he'd do a flip, allowing his turrets to get as much fire in before, hopefully, slamming down on the building across the way...

OOC: While it would seem to Megapede that not much happened when he destroyed the vehicles, for the record, it takes energy away from Vasra to add to his 'armour.' by destroying them your weakening his shield, and as that's his only protection from a direct hit (like when MKG pierced through it) damages his direct health as well.

Vasra recoiled but resisted the strike, sacrificing much of his 'body armour', various vehicles and pieces of rubble crashing into the beam before it waned out. He focused, turning side ways and spreading his arms in both directions. The energy pulse which has struck megapede launched up into the sky before splitting into two. Vasra swung his arms down, the dual streams of energy following suit and firing down like pillars of lightning, one crashing onto Megapede, the other smashing down on MKG.

Setsus dived away in a roll, the explosion throwing him across the street, but out of the chain gun turrets main arc of fire. He recovered from his death roll into a low crouch. He moved quickly, keeping low and firing shots over his shoulder into the air, firing in Placentras direction with a degree of accuracy.

Megapede hissed from the blow he took, but managed to quickly regain his composure. Deciding to use his barbs to take out what was left of Vasra's armor, he flicked his ending segments forward again, more barbs flying off and streaking forward before they exploded near Vasra. MKG snarled from the energy attack, but he raised his shield before he could take the entire beam...
