I am thinking of starting something new here in the Off Topic section, a sort of "Pokemon Rating" thing that goes indepth on most of the 493 Pokemon, looking at their weaknesses, strengths, and if they're actually usable, sorta like how Smogon does their competitive Battling ratings. What do you guys think?

What you people would do is recommend Pokemon for me to rate, and rate how I rated said Pokemon. There's only two criteria for suggestions:

1. All Pokemon suggested MUST be fully evolved
2. NO Zorua/Zoroark, since they're 5th gen Pokemon.

Eh. People like participation, so if you are doing all the rating for the actual Pokemon, it doesn't really give them much to do.

Besides, Pokemon really isn't a big theme on the site to be honest.

It seems like the further along Pokemon gets, as in with each new generation, the normal pokemon become shittier, but the legendaries become more awesome.

Dialga and Palkia are pretty awesome T_T

While I'll agree with that to an extent, it just seems that none of the new-gen ones become instant classics like some of the old ones. And I forgot to mention the games get shittier as well, IMO. Emerald was the last really good one...

I've played some of the new ones like Pearl and SilverSoul, and they aren't that bad. If anything, the games are about the only thing that hasn't gotten worse.

They aren't as good as the originals, of course. Though SilverSoul and HeartGold come close.

Yeah, I had Diamond, it was alright, but meh compared to Emerald. I heard SoulSilver and HeartGold were awesome though, probably because they're remakes of an old classic right?
