a more serious monster to consider is Fatalis. skilled hunters won't find trouble, but every now and again you find one that's so bloody tough it drives you mad. example being a certain white bearded lizard i fought with a friend a few months ago...we let our subsequent frustrations out on a Rathalos 3 HRs above it....and massacred it in under 10 minutes...


another example: Naruga. not that hard once you get to know how it fights, but a pain in the neck during your first few hunts. will be a major failfest if you're not ready for it...

not to mention Albatrion...evil *******...

funnily enough, that nickname seems to have been unanimous across the globe. the first time i showed him to a few of my friends they IMMEDIATELY nicknamed him Crimson Chin....though some HAVE called it a Jay Leno clone...
