*I continue to follow, a thought coming to me.* I've got an even better idea. Rather than killing a Gigginox to get it's poison, we convince it to give up a sample of it's poison fluid. Before we do that, though, we can easily have fun playing a game of dodging it's attacks. If we leave it alive, it will mean one more defender for the site the next time a civil war comes around.

I nod to IK.

"Sounds like an excellent idea."

i continue heading towards the tundra, the large mountain now in sight........

*I see the Tundra up ahead.* A thing you'll no doubt find of interest about Gigginoxs is that they use a heat sensing organ to find prey, unlike Khezus.

"Interesting..... I would have thought they rely on scent like their bretheren...."

[Iceking]

Let's just say that evolution in the MH world can have many suprises in store for us to discover.

"Indeed.... considering silver Rathalos are weak against thunder, unlike their younger bretheren, which are weak against ice and water....."

The smell of ice fills my nose and cold stings my eyes as we enter the icy world of the tundra.

"We're here."

[Iceking]

*I too take notice of the cold. I look about, making sure that a Barioth or Deviljho is neabry. Seeing no sign of either creature, I walk forward, heading in the direction of the nearest cave.*

I begin to head towards the caves as well, a small pack of Giapreys being seen chasing a Popo off in the distance........

[Iceking]

*I too take notice of the Giaprey pack in the distance, but resume walking, now seeing a cave up ahead.*

I see the inside of the cave now, ringing being heard inside, almost sounding like music.

"I almost forgot about how magical the caves up here feel......"

I draw my blade and begin to enter the cave.........

[Iceking]

*I nod to G4E.* I agree. That ringing noise certainly ads to the music of the caves when heard in the games. * I too enter the cave, already looking up at the ceiling and walls to locate a Gigginox.*

I nod to IK before heading deeper into the caves, the veggie elder inside looking at us with curiously before heading deeper into his cave home........

*Gauss blast hits Scar in the face, sending the bear flying as Tiffany and I drive on through the ARPG, heading for the Site Logo...*

Tiffany: Gira... considering that stunt you pulled off on G4E, I highly doubt he'll side with you in the next Civil War...

It was just a joke... All I wanted to do was have a little fun, and what's wrong with that?

Tiffany: I can sense your death coming very soon...

[Shadow]

I don't use Covenant Weaponry simply because I don't know what they are. Sides, my weps are better...

*Activates a shield pulse, deflecting the Plasma shots and gently lowering self to the ground. Fires a missile at the elite, as it locks onto his heat signature, moving far too fast for it to be shot down...*

Speed Missiles FTW

*rapid Fires 2 more missiles, they also come speeding towards him locked on to his heat signature*

Only way this is gonna stop, is if you come down =)

*Boosts back up again, launching another, slower, but bigger missile at the Elite*

[Iceking]

*The Elite uses his armor lock, the much stronger shield withstanding the force of the missles, though getting completely drained. The Elite hovers back a distance before landing, firing several shots from his needler at Shadow.*

[Shadow]

*Boosts back up, using the momentum to avoid the Needle Shots and hover very near the Elites Position(While being high up =P) Shoulder Cannons activate again, sending 2 heavy strnegth mortar shells hurtling down in a straight line towards the elite, while I equip an add-on to the pitol weapon, making it into a rapid firing Armour Piercing Machine-Gun. As I'm falling, I let loose, a stream of large bullets come hurtling towards the elite,each one knocking into it's hield, as the mortars hit, the Elite is engulfed ina massive green explosion, with smoke billowing around it. Lands quite hard on the ground, jets recharging, as I shoot several large meteor plasma like shots into he smoke cloud*

*The Elite once more runs out of the way of the mortar shells, using the explosion clouds to his advantage. When the clouds clear, the alien is nowhere in sight, having seemingly retreated.*

*Arrives at the Site Logo, before leaping out of the vehicle, Tiffany following me as I headd on inside, seeing the Research Facility still intact, though there be no Koopas around, the place completly empty as I spot a dark orb lynig on the ground.*

Tiffany: THat better not be somethnig that increases power... you know it's against the rules...

No, it isn't... It's just a normal orb not even worth looknig at...

*Sits down in a chair, seeing a black Qurupeco fly ovehead, the bird Wyvern flying toward IK's location...*

I miss Quru... I hop ehe's having a good time at the bahamas...

*Activates the Command Control and a Visor slides across my face, registering all kinds of data, while also locating the elite, using radar to track it's postion. Mutters a few words and a Shrike comes landing next to me, piloted remotely. Hops in and Thrusts up activating the engine and soaring over the site, hunting down the Elite*
