"Well...for starts....how did you two meet Nguvu?" growled Kubwa lowly, smiling for the first time since Amani had found them again...

Nguvu could hear the roar of the waterfall getting louder, and the smell of the gazelle nearby. well that's surprising. Kubwa STILL hasn't eaten it....something's definately off thought the lion as he headed for the waterfall, though it was still out of sight at this distance..

"Well, for me, I was hunting alone one day, and I came by a river that he was at aswell, and I found a herd of zebras drinking from there, and I pounced on one of them, then I saw Nguvu shortly after, and that's when we met. My sister on the other hand, was found by the both of us, still alive, which I was grateful and less heart-broken about, because I still know some of my family is still alive, but when we found her, she swiped me with her paw and knocked me onto the dirt ground, before she realized it was me," Amani slowly growled, before hitting more rocks and stones, not as hard as the first one she had hit, one of the sharper stones hits a fish in the head, knocking it out cold, as a eagle swoops down and catches it. She soon starts lapping up some water from the fresh water, some of the cool liquid drizzles down her already soaked snout, and drips off along with the rest of the water that was falling from her water covered fur...

"What happened to your family?" growled Kubwa, somewhat confused now, though trying not to press the subject if Amani didn't want to talk about it...

the smell of fresh water reached Nguvu's nose as they neared, the lion smiling...

Amani, starting to get saddened, lowly growled, "I'd, I'd rather not speak about it." She continued drinking from the waterfall, her ears and eyes focused on Kubwa, waiting for his next question about herself, a large amount of water soon crashed down into her eyes, burning them, causing her to stumble back a few feet, blinking madly, before being able to see clearly again...

Kubwa lowered his head in respect, understanding. "It seems we all have that in common" he growled lowly. "what about your life alone? what did you see? do? how was life then?" he added after a moment of decision over what to ask...

"It was painful during that time, but it was great being free, even though it was hard to find good food to last for a while," Amani rumbled, lapping up some more water shortly after, before shaking her head around, water flying in all directions, a larger spray of it hitting Kubwa in the face, as Amani chuckles as the water sprays his fur, a small smile of happiness spreading across her face as she does so. "You know, I saved some of a Gazelle on the other side of the river for you, Nguvu, Uzuri, Night and Lusa to eat. I even saved you, Nguvu and my sister some of the liver, if you want it," she soon growled under her own laughter, barely even understanding what she had said...

Kubwa smiled. it was bliss hearing that laugh. happiness was something he hadn't seen in a long time, and it gave him great pleasure just to hear it. "Thanks. But i want to let the others eat before i start. i can hold myself from eating, but if i start, i'm not going to stop" he growled. he shook his head to get rid of the water and walked over to the water, angling his paw and splashing his paw sideways into it, sending a wave of it flying and soaking part of Amani's face and her feet, Kubwa chuckling. "You look better when you're soaked" he growled with a chuckle...

Amani chuckled in shock, before dipping her paw into the water, and sending a large wave at Kubwa's mane, most of it hitting him in the face, however. "Same with you," she growled, chuckling again soon after, before flinging her soaked paws towards Kubwa, more water splashing into him, as she shakes her head again, the cool liquids spray all over, though none hit anything other than the lake or the platform she and Kubwa were on...

Kubwa shook his head, the water spraying wildly, a fair amount of it sprinkling across Amani's form as the Lion dried himself off. Nguvu by now was at the edge of the treeline, eying the two. Kubwa needs to take a lesson in water fights from me he thought with a smirk as he walked out. "I see you two are having fun" he growled with a chuckle as he walked out, Kubwa's head whipping around to see his brother almost too fast, water spraying from his still half-soaked face and across Amani's chin, a few droplets dropping short of Nguvu's paws. "Yeah uh....you....it's water....it's fun" mumbled Kubwa awkwardly as he tried a half innocent smile, Nguvu simply chuckling. "I know, i know. Water's fun. Use your mane next time. it's handy in a water fight" responded Nguvu with a sly smirk, Kubwa staring at him somewhat bewildered for a few moments, before suddenly staring at his brother wide eyed, the idea only just dawning on him. Nguvu chuckled...

Amani's head snapped towards Nguvu, a sharp pain in her neck protesting against the movment, as she rumbled, "yeah, uh, we were just, having some fun," not knowing what else to say at the moment, before shaking her head for a third time, the water splashing on Kubwa that instant, the droplets heading in the other direction nearly splash against Nguvu's flank, a innocent smile spreads across her face as she shakes the rest of her body, more water flying around, mostly hitting Kubwa in his flank. "This is a load of fun," she soon growled, another chuckle escaping her mouth, as she dunked her head into the lake, before taking the water her fur captured, spraying it around again, some of the drops hit Nguvu on his side, most hitting Kubwa, however.

Night took a step back to avoid the water droplets sprayed from Amani's fur. "Watch it," she growled, though a small, amused smirk tugged at one corner of her mouth. Lusa bounced around the white wolf's legs, trying to snatch some of the droplets out of the air before they hit Nguvu. Uzuri smiled at her sister and Kubwa, glad that Amani was relaxing enough to play.

"Sorry, Night," Amani growled, looking at her, then down at Lusa, who was catching the water that got flung at Nguvu. She smacked another rock into the lake with her paw, and it had skipped across the watery surface further than the rest of the stone that were hit by Amani.

Nguvu's eyes narrowing as he walked around Amani so that he was on the opposite side of her to Kubwa. he gave Kubwa a glance to get his attention, the younger lion understanding. the two of them stepped toward the water, plunging their heads and most of their manes in the cool liquid before lifting their heads up, Nguvu giving Amani an evil smirk as he growled "Now". together the two lions shook their heads, sheets upon sheets of water spraying onto Amani from the two lions' sponge-like manes, completely soaking the lioness...

Amani jumped in suprise as the rain of water splashed into her, causing her to slip when she landed, sending her diving into the lake, a huge explosion of the shivering cold liquid came flying up, hitting everything on the platform. As she came up, she growled, "ok, ok! You win!" as water drained from her ears, mouth, and nose, the soaked form of her barely managed to get out of the lake and up onto the surface, the amount of cool liquid stuck to her fur caused her to crawl instead of walk, as she narrowly shook it out, slowly pulling her body up.

Nguvu smirked as he turned back to look at Lusa, part of his mane flopping forward over one eye. "And that is why you never challenge me to a water fight" he growled with a chuckle, Kubwa grinning cheerfully at the victory, before stopping, noticing that Lusa and Night were the two wolves he had run into during his hunt with Jino and Kuruk to find Nguvu. his smile dropped, guilt returning, the lion walking towards the white wolf, head hung low. "Forgive me for what happened last time we met....i should've stopped my brother and that bear then"

Lusa giggled at Amani's predicament as Uzuri openly laughed at the whole situation. Night's blue eyes fixed on the lion, an unreadable expression on her face. After a moment, she growled, "We all make mistakes. I can tell you regret yours deeply." The fur on her shoulders rippled as she lifted them in a shrug. "If Nightbane and the others have no quarrel with you, then it's not my place to start one."

"....Nightbane?" growled Kubwa confusedly, not knowing Nguvu's nickname, the lion himself too distracted with Amani and Lusa to have heard...

"...He's standing right there," Night growled, turning her head, a little puzzled by the lion's confusion.

Kubwa looked around, searching for some unknown member of their group, only to see Nguvu. "...You call him Nightbane?" he growled, bewildered...
