Aircrest shakily got to his feet, his legs trembling from the ravages of his illness. He was starting to wish he was still dreaming. Atleast in his dream he was healthy. He walked off, glancing up through the jungle canopy. From the breaks in the leaves, he saw the dark sky and twinkling sky. "Well that was a restful sleep" He grumbled to himself, but shifted his focus to his top priority: getting back to his mate. He'd try to cover as much distance as he could before he felt run down. It might have only been a dream, but his talk with Ripper had an effect on him. Selena was his top priority, and he'd be back at her side, sick or otherwise

Sylicora continued to stare at her brother, head tilting in concern. "Yeah, it is that obvious. You haven't been the same as I remember for a long time..." Rhojis shot her a quick sidelong look. Until just then, he thought she'd never noticed. "Maybe that's just the way I am now," He growled evasively. "Why would it be? Something must have happened to make you change. You never used to be this nervous," she hissed, a slightly fearful edge in her voice. Rhojis started to open his mouth, but couldn't think of an argument. After a moment, she hissed more quietly, still with an edge of fear, "Is this the same thing that was bothering you when you tried to talk to me before we were caught?" The gray raptor simply nodded, staring at the ground in front of him as they walked slowly onward in Fatalis' wake. "Get it over then..." she hissed, voice suddenly trembling. "What did you do that could be so horrible you can't even look me in the eye?" At this, Rhojis glanced up, looking more than mildly shocked, his voice rising. "I didn't do anything horrible! Was I ever one to cause trouble before?" "Well, you said you're different now!" "No no, it's not... you think I've gone crazy or something? Just because I drank a little of that tainted water years ago-" "No! I... I didn't say that... I'm sorry..." Sylicora hissed in a small, apologetic voice. Rhojis momentarily closed his eyes and ran a hand down his muzzle, muttering, "That's completely beside the point anyway... Let's back up... Try this again..."

As Fatalis felt the two slow, he stopped. he knew that the subject would likely be difficult to absorb. the siblings would need a bit of time to work through this...

Crusher meanwhile, continued his territorial patrol, marking the borders periodically. "Did you manage to kill Nightshade?" growled Rampage after a while, conscern etched in her tone. "No...but if the one who was in control of our territory was anything to go by, Nightshade's already dead....but i have my doubts" responded Crusher. Rampage rumbled lowly, thinking over what could possibly have brought Nightshade down, considering Crusher was incapable of it before...it was an unnerving thought...

"Well....i'd preffer a nearby river wherever we sleep...but that's all that i'm really bothered with. i'm easy though. whatever you have in mind's fine by me" growled Blade with a smile...

Lurker continued to creep forward ever so slightly, his eyes locked upon the target he had chosen. One of the Scutosaurus was abit away from the group, and heading right for him. Now was the time to strike...

The predator lunged from his hiding place, dashing right for the slow herbivore. The scutosaurus had only enough time to roar in alarm before it's neck was bitten upon by the large predator. with that single bite, the herbivore fell limp, it's huge girth crashed into the ground. Lurker watched as the rest of the group fled into the forest, braying in alarm. For now, he had his kill...*

DeepTredder was exahusted and hungry. He had exhausted his food supply of Pleisiousaurs from the West coast of Isla Sorna months ago, and was in search of more marine reptiles. Life was all around him, many varietys of fish modern, and ancient, along with the infamous marine reptiles, but none of them large enough to feed the massive 78 foot Megaladon as he endlessly patrolled the deeps around Isla Sorna, his home for the past 46 years.

Aircrest poked his snout out from the tree line, looking into the lake several feet away. He saw the silver disk that was the moon in the water, its shape distorted by the waves. The giant herbivores settled down around the lagoon, their breathing loud. "Getting close" Aircrest thought before slipping quietly through the plants, walking to the other end of the clearing that surrounded the water. Though his nose tickled and twinged, he didnt dare sneeze. He wasnt in any condition to dodge a stampeding herd, awoken by the noise and panicked...

DeepTredder's last hope for food was now a large pack of Nothrosaurs who had infested the small sand and rock islands surrounding Isla Sorna, at a despret attemp for food, the Massive shark continued his endless search.

Alira slowly stood, looking out at the ocean for a moment, watching the rolling waves as they sparkled with stars and moonlight. Who are they, to think they can do with us what they like? she thought, all her old disgust with the humans returning for a moment. "I was thinking we should move away from the shore," she growled. "Looks like some creatures didn't survive the transfer - or were killed before they woke by others who were starving. Come dawn the opportunists among them will be up and about again, and more will come from further down the beach. I for one don't like the thought of being killed in my sleep."

Blade nodded. "Agreed. let's go" he growled, getting to his feet and stretching, a series of cracks coming from him as he loosened up...

DeepTredder arrived at a large stretch of beach, littered with dead animals. But to further enrage The massive shark, He couldnt get to any of the carrion, due to his bulk. So Deeptredder did the one thing he hated most. He swam silently and waited for the tide to rise.

Alira turned towards the trees, starting off the beach on silent feet. She didn't envy the smaller predators; they were in for a long night. Some of them probably wouldn't live to see the dawn because of bigger, hungrier predators.

Instead of waiting for the tide, Deeptredder simply decided to eat the numerous marine reptiles that had gathered forthe feast. Within a matter of minutes, Deeptredder had eaten his seemingly endless fill, and moved on, back to the depths of the ocean.

When he finally cleared the lagoon, Aircrest let out a sigh of relief, followed by a violent sneeze, his neck jerking with the motion. He sniffled and held his head level again as he started to walk off. Though his snout still felt blocked up and his brain felt battered in its own skull, he was glad that he wasnt around the trumpeting titans when that sneeze finally came out. Aircrest hopped onto a boulder he came across, balancing on the somewhat smooth rock and looking out through the undergrowth. From ontop the boulder, he could see that there was a slight incline as the ground gradually fell a few feet as one neared the coast. In the far distance, he could see the ocean, a dark expanse surrounding the island with specks of light from the moon bending on the surface. Spurred on by his progress, he pushed on, hopping down from the boulder and making his way down the slope towards the jungle's edge

The treading of footsteps are heard near a herd of Iguanodonts as Ole One Eye watches them hungrily, her one eye watching them closely to see if there are weak or old ones among the herd.........

The sound of ocean waves crashing against the shore drifted into Aircrest's ears. He made it, the spot where he left his mate and sister shouldnt be too far from where he was now. All that walking was about to pay off. He pushed through lines of bushes, making a final push on his weary legs. He raised his snout and tried to scent the air, sniffling loudly as he did, but managed to get a whiff of his mate a few yards ahead

Dawntheif had been following a young Allosaur for quite some time now, just waiting for the Allo to make a kill. But, as dawntheif had found out, it wasnt that simple. He couldnt just follow big preadtors around, letting them make the kills, for there where too many other scavengers on this island, and he wouldnt risk an injury for some old meat. So instead, Dawntheif began a patroll of a largely forested area where most large predators couldnt find him. Dawntheif spent the reminder of his day in the foilage hunting insects and large lizards. After eating his fill, Dawntheif marked his small territory, only about 50 yards of underbrush and gangled trees, formed a small nesting site near center of his newfound territory, also protcted by the thornbushes around him, and he slept.

Aircrest poked his snout through one last line of bushes. On the other side, he saw his mate on a bed of ferns. He didnt know where Rose, Zheja and Hazel were, but he was pretty sure they were close by. He took a deep breath, glad to be back, despite it being in the dead of night. He slipped past the other bushes ahead of him, approaching the black and white raptor carefully. His nostrils flared as he felt a sneeze coming on, and with a low snarl, swung his head down and clenched his teeth, letting out a stifled snorting noise, hoping that it wouldnt wake up Selena.

Dawntheif had been woken up by the deafening roar of A T-rex. Where the Therapod was, it was close. But in the relative safety of the bushes, Dawntheifbegan to rise, going out for a long nighthunt.

The two siblings had come to a halt and were silent for a few moments before Rhojis finally took in a deep breath and spoke with a tone of forced calm. "Let me put it this way... It's not what I did that bothers me... more like what I didn't do." He paused, but Sylicora said nothing, nodding slowly, stiffly at him with a look of suppressed dread in her yellow gaze. "I was hunting with Dad... If I'd only tried harder, maybe things would have been different... but... I ran and hid instead..." "F-from... what?" hissed Sylicora, sounding oddly strangled. "A Spi... Spinosaur..." Rhojis felt his sister's gaze as she stared unblinkingly at him, but didn't look up. "It wanted our kill, and he didn't want to give it up... we were starving... So we kinda... got into a fight and..." He faltered, running his hand down his neck again, claws digging into his skin. "Oh, no..." Sylicora breathed, eyes growing wide, jaw going slack. "You don't mean... Please don't tell me he-" "And there was nothing in the world I could do to stop it!" Rhojis burst out, voice cracking as the horrible memories overwhelmed him. Blood and agonized screaming and the sound of that one terrifying, crushing footfall... As Rhojis finally looked up, Sylicora stepped backward, staring at her brother through clouded eyes that were filled with more shock, pain and horror than he'd ever seen. Her mouth moved, but she seemed unable to make a sound. It took a few moments that felt like an eternity for the olive raptor to find her voice, though when she did, her words came out high-pitched and strangled. "How long ago was this? Why didn't you ever tell me?" Rhojis cringed visibly. Things had just hit rock-bottom. This was exactly what he had been dreading. "I'm sorry... Alot's been happening. I was going to, but then we were captured-" "But what about all the time you had before that?" The olive raptor growled loudly. "Well I just... I had other things on my mind, and-" "Meaning you forgot? How could you just... forget that our father died? How?!" Sylicora screeched, recoiling another few steps backwards, claws flexing as some of her shock was replaced by a burning anger. Feeling his own temper rising, as well as a strange, cold fear spreading through him, Rhojis took a few steps toward her, spreading his arms in a hopeless shrug. "No, I didn't forget! But what do you think I should've done? Spilled you the story as soon as we met so you could carry the same guilt and pain as I did with you wherever you went? So it could hurt and disrupt you every day of your life like it did me?" Sylicora took a threatening step forward, pulling back her lips in a snarl. "Yes! I would want you to be honest with me and not try to bury things hoping they'll just disappear!" With that, she turned to walk back the way they'd come, but with a low growl, Rhojis moved to stand in front of her, mismatched eyes gleaming, quills raised. "You don't know the half of it!" he hissed in a dangerously quiet tone. "You've never had to live with the crippling guilt that comes with practically killing a member of your own family! You weren't there to see the Spinosaur crush him like compy while you shivered in a cave-" "STOP IT!" Sylicora shrieked, surging forward and ramming Rhojis out of the way with her shoulder, bolting away into the night, leaving the gray raptor alone, stunned and fuming...
