Eradicus made a mock lunge at Enria once he reached her. The sound of teeth hitting eachother could be heard next to the female tyrannosaur as the carchar's mouth closed shut near her head, the male pulling away from the tyrannosaur soon after. He roared out louder than he had earlier that day, trying to shock the female rex he was about to fight.

Eradicus snarled at Enria, following her circling path, matching her speed, trying to get her to attack first. He roared again, making another mock attack at the female tyrannosaur, pulling back quickly, however. The enraged carcharodontosaur hissed, his teeth bared, vapour puffing out of his nostrils, as he waited for the rex's next move.

Eradicus, knowing he was getting backed to the dropoff, looked back, noticing it, before charging past Enria. He snapped at her face as he passed by, getting behind the female rex. He roared again once he was behind her, roaring, snarling and hissing more, trying to push the rex to the dropoff to end the fight faster than what he wanted it to.

Enria charged forwards at the Eradicus. This was here land, She would not lose it, This pathetic excuse for a predator would not have her land! She snapped her lethal jaws as she carged at the Cracho and began pushing him back down her territory.

Eradicus pulled his head back as Enria snapped at him before biting down onto her neck, getting an advantage from the failed attack. He started putting a larger and larger amount of pressure on the tyrannosaur's neck, holding on tightly. He tried clawing the female rex in the leg with his talons on his foot, the carcharodontosaur unknowingly giving the tyrannosaur a chance to escape.

Enria Put all of her wieght on the Cracho in one mighty show, knocking him down. She stood over the Cracho and bellowed out a roar, giving The beast a chance to escape.

Eradicus ignored the offering as he got back up, roaring at his opponent, snapping at her snout. "This is a fight to the finish!" the carchar hissed, preparing to attack the tyrannosaur again. He stomped his foot on the ground as he inched closer to the female rex, roaring, allowing her a chance to leave.

Enria started slowly backing up, she couldnt fight in this state, she was starving. Roaring in submission, she backed off, she could fight this beast later, when she was at full strength, or had found a mate.

Rather than allowing Enria an easy escape, Eradicus rammed into the tyrannosaur's flank, knocking her into the ground, before roaring at her. He then boomed out a territorial roar, considering the mountain as his own now, before hissing, "I'll let you live, for now. But return, and you're wasting your life for nothing. Leave now, or die right here."

Enria left the Bluff, her home for so long, now lost in a night of foolishness. She had been weak that fight, deprived of a kill because of her search for a mate. But after eating fresh Dryosaur, she continued through the jungle, thinking she might cover more ground like this, and continued her mateing calls.

Eradicus bellowed out a final territorial roar as Enria left the mountain which was now his, before looking around. He thought if he could find himself a mate he'd have his whole family stay here, but felt like that could come later. He knew now he needed to defend his new territory from anything that felt like barging in and try to fight him...

Fatalis followed silently, paying no mind to the raptor, whose impatience surprised him. it was as if he wanted to screech at the sky and make dawn come sooner. he walked forward, keeping close to Sylicora, feeling sorry for the female. it was obvious the blow was heavy on her. he would have to keep a close eye on her for the next few days...he hoped Pulsar, Renegade, Howler and Rhojis could hold on for that long. though, come to think of it, this situation had an added bonus of making them self dependent. they would need to hunt their food while they waited. so long as they were in the underground cave, nothing too dangerous could get to them. Renegade being a fellow lone wolf, and a fairly skilled one at that, Fatalis was sure he would be able to help ward off an attacker with little trouble. and Pulsar had shown himself to be quite skilled as well. the pair of them would likely be his left and right hands during the next few days...

Crusher finished marking his territory, letting out a low roar that echoed across several kilometers, warning the rest of his family that he was done, before turning and beginning to head towards the center of his considerable territory ,satisfied he had reclaimed what was his....now it was just a matter of finding Nightshade's corpse...

Hunter lifted his head from the dead Lambeosaurus, Lightning pleased with their kill. "Let's get moving. they'll be hungry" growled Lightning. Hunter nodded, helping Lightning drag the kill back to the nest...

"Here we are," Siri growled, leading the raptors into the cave. Mwuaji lifted his head in surprise and Inculta's eyes glittered, but neither challenged the black female's decision. Silver was curled around her three hatchlings, but surprise flared in her blue eyes when she spotted Fatalis. Viridis moved off to stand beside her father, while Siri began to explain the situation to Mwuaji and Silver.

Fatalis nodded in respect to the raptors in the cave, before ushering Sylicora towards a quiet corner of the Raptors' den, smiling towards Silver, but not leaving Sylicora's side for now...he needed to keep an eye on her...

"Trust me. you don't want to. i had an encounter with one Deinonychus. it hurt like hell. sure, it did all the damage of a stray branch...but it stung like nothing i can remember" growled Blade as he stopped, crouching slightly. "Have a look" he growled. almost from between his shoulders to halfway down his tail, were a set of 12 grooves, 6 mild ones, 4 nearly unseen ones, and 2 really deep ones. his reminder of the Deinonychus that threatened the group in his earlier years...

Alira stopped to give the scars a look, and winced sympathetically. "Ouch."

After they'd been informed, Inculta and Mwuaji settled a bit. The leader settled down beside his mate and gave her a brief, affectionate nuzzle before yawning and resting his chin on her shoulder. Mwuaji took over guard duty. Viridis, tired from her long day, curled up close to Silver, and the pale female allowed her eyes to close. Her mind however was whirling. She hadn't seen Fatalis in quite some time - what were the odds that they'd run into each other again here?

Sylicora numbly allowed herself to be steered across the cave, noticing the odd looks the others gave them as they passed. She knew it was late and supposed she would have to at least attempt to get some rest. It wouldn't be easy to sleep surrounded by near-strangers, but then, she thought, it was better than having to endure curious looks and questions from their own pack. Nearing the wall, she slowed to a shuffling stop and sank into a slightly tense crouch, seemingly unwilling to relax, feeling out of place as she glanced passively at the cave's inhabitants...

Blade nodded. "Ouch is right. the Deinonychus was taunting my friends and this was the price of chasing it away" he growled. "I don't regret a single one of those wounds....just wish they didn't hurt so much at the time" he added with a smirk...

Fatalis lay on his side, but remained alert, his head still held up, refusing to let himself rest. " I'll keep watch....Get some rest Sylicora...or at least..try to" he hissed quietly to the female...

Alira cracked a small smile. "Your friends must have meant a lot to you, for you to put your life on the line for them," she growled quietly. "That's not a trait I see often among our kind."

Mwuaji kept watch until dawn, when he woke Viridis for her turn. The mottled green female yawned, stretched, and opened her dark eyes. Her gaze settled first on her parents, who were sleeping peacefully. Then she looked at Astus, who was curled up in his usual spot at the back of the cave. Silver was covered by her three hatchlings. Steelclaw was splayed over her neck, Thistle and Carus stretched out over her back. And as she stood and padded to the cave entrance, she looked at the three newcomers; Banescale, Sylicora, and Fatalis. How had they fared, spending the night in an unfamiliar den? It looked like Fatalis hadn't gotten any sleep at all, the male still being as alert as when she'd gone to sleep. She blinked at him. "Did you sit on a sharp rock to keep yourself up all night?" she growled.
