OOC: Thank god for the weekend, sorry about the delays.
Eden-4's sensors scanned as much as it could, mountains, rivers, cities, all passing as blurs. In one final last resort move, the ship's massive electromagnetic engines burst into life, huge wings suddenly flashing to life, slowing the flaming machine. In the ship's last moment's, it scanned across a large town, not very modern, it was walled. Bodies littered the streets. It was difficult to tell if they were civillians or soldiers. White suited soldiers ran across the walls, many jumping for cover. wreckage which had been catapulted ahead of the Seeder ship smashed down inside the town like meteorites. Just as fast as it had appeared, Eden-4 cleared the town, suddenly zipping over another killing field, Imperial walkers and tanks burning, Vong bodies piled high, more white suited soldiers, storm troopers, imperial. There was a beach a head, maybe a mile or two away, and then Eden-4 touched down. Before the impact a huge cloud of dust was ripped up, the disturbance caused by the massive ship blowing up a sandstorm. The ship smashed down onto it's belly, the damage was immediate. With a screaming of metal, Eden-4's head was buried into the ground, the ship beginning to tip into the air. With a groaning of super bonded metal and a burst of flame, the connecting bridge gave way, bending in two. The head came off, a burst of fire issueing out of the horrible cloud. The body of the ship slammed back down into the dust, the tail of the craft breaking off and beginning to twist to the side.
The entire mangled wreckage dragged on through the plain, ripping a huge gash through the landscape. While the seeder ship's core managed to bury itself into the ground and lodge in place, the head rolled forward, followed by a huge jet of wreckage and componenets, slowing to a stop nearly a mile away from the rest of the crash site. The core was left in the middle, with pieces of the tail, and the rest of the cargo hold was lodged veritcally into the ground near enough to the original impact.
A huge scar had been torn, starting just beyond the walls of the village, continuing forward for several kilometers, burning wreckage littered the plain as well, columns of smoke wafting into the air all around. Eden-4 was down.
The Koult operator nodded "Sambo Thatchet, Co of Kaka-10 observation post. Good to make your acquaintence, fleet commander. Please follow me, so we can get straight to buisness." Sambo turned, heading up the steps and through the main door of the facilty, moving into a small room to his right, a table and chairs set up inside.
