Almost got killed when I was six or seven years old in front of my little sister. Was rollerskating in the road and fell in front of a big truck. Couldn't get back up. [Luckily he stopped.]

Almost died a few years before that when I got really sick. Had a really high fever [don't remember the temp. exactly]. My parents were scared sh*tless.

Hurt my leg badly on my trampoline a few years back and since then I've walked with a bit of a limp.

Didn't notice I was standing so close to a fire one summer and got a burned hand for being an idiot and reaching out towards it for the warmth. >_<

The list goes on and on. I've got a bunch of scars with their own stories. XP

Only really brutal one was the paper cutter incident. There have been others, but no blood thankfully.

However, like HF, I have a slight limp as well due to falling like 7 feet onto pure concrete. I feel stupid for jumpnig........

SS: Yes, in part, but not all wounds are physical.

GF: laaawl. We've all learned that painful lesson at one point or another. XD

I was 9 or so years old when I lived in Kent, Washington. I lived at the bottom of this very steep hill. One day, I took my scooter out, took it up to the top of the hill, and rode it all the way down, with only an undershirt to protect my chest... at the bottom of the hill, I turned toosharply, lost control of the scooter, and I skidded a good 10 or so feet on my chest... I was covered in cuts and bruises all over the place, and I think I was stuck at home with my mom taking care of my injuries for a good three days... man did it hurt... thankfully, there's no trace of the injuries remaining...

Phew. I fell down a hill too.

Is there anyone here that DIDN'T have a traumatizing event? Raise your hand if you haven't!

Lets see  starting from least threatening was the incident where I was moving pretty fast dowm a slide with no sideguards and I fell off the right side and on my head (no long lasting damage thankfully but I have a very bad fear of heights) secondly would have to be the Asthma attack that put me in the hospitol for... I think 2 weeks maybe 1 and a half when I was eight years, and finally The first Asthma attack where I needed to be rushede to the hospitol for emergancy treatment when I was four, man that was terrifing

Oh wow, RT3. You still have asthma? Oh, and I fear heights too. But that's another story.

I do but it only rears it's ugly head whenever I spend too much time in damp, dusty, or mold filled location

I hate heights too. I think in my case it's because I'm so small; I know a bad fall from a high place could land me some serious injuries.

I hate heights, but I also hate going on a plane or ship. I know at least two horror stories of each. No way. :P

Road trips FTW IMO.

I love planes... but sticking to the ground is possibly one of the safest ways to travel, as long as your on foot...

Boats, I love. Because I love the ocean, and I LOVE deep-sea fishing. X3 My dad and i go every time we're in new jersey. Planes...I haven't been on one since I was a very little girl. But come next summer, I'll get the chance to fly again. I'm excited. :3

I love high places, I'm as comfortable upside down and in the air as I am on my feet, love boats, because they are like floating houses, like planes, because they're fricken jet planes and so forth. :P
