The shadow creature bursts form minene's shadow, knocking away tiffany's knife, before thursting his fist through minene's chest and flinging her into Shinobu.

Nightmare Beast: "Where was I?"

The shadow demons burst from the shadows again and fuse with the creature.

Nightmare beast: "Oh, yes......"

The demonic spawn shows his teeth.

Nightmare beast : "Taking you as my host!"

The creature lunges at tiffany.....

*Tiffany's whip lashes straight through the nightmarish creature, cleaving it right in half, both parts of it now infected, as they begin to swell up, before exploding, those tiny bits that remain begin to burn...*

*Minene and Shinobu smash into a book shelve, as both of them lie there, unconcious from the hit...*

Yuna: I knew it.. there was a demon there!

Voices: (Good... )

OOC: Infection? Seriously? How lame.

The shadows reform easily, still burning, the beast wreathed in flame before he slashes at Tifanny's face......

(THat was the best I could think of at that moment... one's mind becomes rather lame when they have to endure Sylvester Stillone{Sp?} movie after movie...)

*Tiffany ducks under the beast's claws, marely dodging the attack, as she kicks upward, kicking the beast off it's legs and onto it's back...*

The nightmare beast snarls before rotating his limbs in the direction he is laying, allowing him to skitter towards tiffany and jumping up into the air, sending a bolt of nightmare energy into tiffany, which begins to search her mind for her deepest fears or secrets........

*Tiffany staggers back, both hands on her head, as she tries to resist the attempts to flush out her nightmares, while Yuna tackles the beast to the ground, Shinobu and Mienen manage to drag Tiffany out of the Library, leaving Yuna to deal with the demon, Yunasmirks, her voice now sounding like 8 consecutive voices all at once, her mind now having been taken over by the voices in her mind.*

Yuna: Your master's name is Pandemonium? Why does that name ring a bell to me?

The nightmare beast thrusts its hand forward and wraps his hand around her neck. He gets up and lifts her up, staring at her with his dozens of glowing red eyes.

NB: "Yes.......... he is my master...... why do you care? You are but another meal to me......"

The nightmare beast smirks, his teeth showing again....

*I just sit and watch the battle, before turning to the nightmare beast and blasting it with a plasma beam, pulling out my axe at the same moment. Washington looks around for a way to get back to the jungle, before noticing an inconvienent knife laying nearby and sliding off the falling platform, as he dives and grabs it*

Wash: Yes! Time to do what I did a few weeks ago, well, here goes nothing!

Um, what the h**l is even going on here? Some shadowy creature suddenly decides to attack Gira and his NPCs, and for some reason a grenade nearly and somewhat randomly attacks me and this A.I, then we get thrown through an inconvienent portal and are sent here, and now I'll have to call in some of my SEW characters to fight off this thing and extract us? Seriously, what the f**k?!?!

The beam simply shoots through its form, hitting yuna as well........

*The beam simpily misses Yuna and the shadowy demon, as they both had moved from their earlier positions, before I try and find something useful to fight the nightmare beast, glacing back with more frustration and concern as I grow more desperate to save Yuna*

Come on, come on! Something good to fight that thing has to be in here! Woah, wait a minute! If stuff just moves "through" this shadow demon, than how is it able to hold stuff? I think that defies the law of physics or whatever.

A.I: Don't even make me bring those pages up...

*Yuna, now under possession by something else, snickers, her body begins to turn pitch black, before expanding, turning into a massive shadow, the shadow engulfs the Nightmare Beast, UR, The AI, and me, before dissapearing...*

*Not too far from the Kingpin's Research Facility in Africa, the shadow materializes, before spitting out the Nightmare Beast, UR, the AI, and me, the shadow begins to solidify, but not into Yuna...*

The Nightmare beast simply laughs at yuna.

NB: "Hmph. Darkness? This will be easy prey.........."

The nightmare beast prepares for his foe's approach.

A.I: New idea: How about that extraction force?

Good idea. But not here, somewhere else. Remember what happened to Tiffany a few moments ago?

A.I: I obviously do.

Good. What I'll do is send a small group, half of the force itself back there, and the rest to us. KP's forces can deal with this beast afterwards.

*I quickly leap out of the suit and let the A.I take over, who begins trying to find a weakness within the Nightmare beast, while I mess with a small wrist utility, which happens to be a radio*

*on radio* Come in, base? Need two small extraction forces with big guns. Send those Modern choppers along with the same era's weapons with the soldiers and medics. Artic log cabin and African research facility, over.

Ranger: *on com-link* Got it. Artic cabin being located now. African base being searcher for A.S.A.P. Forces being prepared, sir, over...

*Has been dropped off onto a large branch, still unconcious...*

*8 pair of yellowish eyes glare from within the shadow, the sounds of hissing echoing all over. The shadow solidifies, revealing itself to be a massive, charcol-colored serpent, with 8 necks stemming from one body. On the end of each neck lies a viper's head, poisonous miasma leaking from each mouth. The serpent itself is 35 feet long, with all 8 pairs of eyes trained upon the Nightmare Beast.*

Serpent: Foolish demon... YOU are the prey for ME!

*The snake begins to circle the beast, all 8 heads thinking as one, allowing it to calculate advanced plans....*

NB: "Your arrogance is your weakness, serpent. It will be easy to exploit."

The nightmare beast circles as well, locking its uncountable number of eyes locked onto the serpent........

Ranger: African research base located. Choppers and team coming in now. Cabin still under search, team two standing by for extraction.

Ranger: Get prepared for this cold, guys. We'll be freezing our a***s off while the other force burns in that terrible heat.

Let's see now, this axe is useless, basically. A solid object against something created by light that hit's another object? Nothing can touch shadows, and shadows can't touch nothing. One exploit I've found already, but what are the others? Wait a minute, I just explained 'em! This thing can't be real, cause no object is around to cast the shadow and man do I feel like an idiot. Night as well alter this axe and reform it into a sword while I wait for this rescue.

A.I: Thanks, now I know EXACTLY what to do with this "Nightmare beast"!

*The Serpent, ready to fight, exhales, poisonous miasma flows down from all 8 of it's mouths, the miasma plows into the beast like a freight train, any and all vegetation in the area is reduced to bubbling pools of sulfer, even the ground begins to melt from contact with the poison...*

The creature snarls from the venom, his shadowy form glowing a strange color, before he sends a series of purple thorns into the serpent's hide, tearing into the flesh, drawing blood......

*The serpent snarls in rage, the wounds inflicted by the thorns closes rapidly a the snake lunges at the demon, all 8 heads bite down into it, pumping venom into the demon's body, while the snake's body and tail begin to wrap around the beast...*

The Nightmare beast sends surges of nightmare energy into the serpent's form, overloading its head with images of its greatest fears, as the creature shoots a red laser form his many eyes, blasting a head apart......
