*Due to most of the armada's shields recharging before leaving the field, less casualties are mad as two, massive and bulky duel cannons emerge from the top of my ship's hull, the guns aiming ta the closest Collector cruiser and firing a massive beam of heated plasma energy. The pelicans manage to avoid the attack as the task force continues with the mission, their boots keeping them held down tightly to the surface to prevent them from being taken off the base*

Washington: Move up! Find a door and blow it to kingdom come!

Meta: <Eat fire grenades, cowards!>

*The sticky bombs launched into space stick onto incoming fighters and quickly explode, engulfing the ships in intensively heated fire as the blast itself rips through parts of the ships while my fleet's fighters continue avoiding attacks and blasting at the enemy fighters...*

*Because there is no way shields that are constantly being battered by debris could recharge until the attacks stopped, there are still a number of ships destroyed. The Oculi's thick armor are practically immune to infantry fire, even the Meta's, and none are very close to the base to be hit anyway, focused mainly on UR's fighters, now that the docked Pelican is destroyed. One Collector Cruiser is damaged from the beam of energy, but the fleet continues to fire, wrecking more of the ships, still injured from their trip through the debris field, adding more dead hulks to the debris field itself. The Collector General watches the battle from one of the base's external cameras*

Such a waste of resources for one girl. It doesn't matter. These creatures are tools. You are merely weakening yourself in preparation for what is to come. Nevertheless, I feel it should be time for some extra firepower soon...

*A single hangar door is spotted by the task force, but actually opens for them, revealing a long passageway deeper into the facility*

The leasser ships begin to lose control and crash into debris, before the main cruiser launches its own flurry of missiles, its shield being charged to the max to prevent it form suffering the same fate as the others....

The laser continues charging......

*The task force quickly leaps into the hangar without hesitation as my ship's main guns fire another 4-round burst at the same ship, the beams ripping through like a knife stabbing skin. The fighters evade enemy attacks and keep the ships following them as a distraction as more dropships are lauched from the fleet, heading to the Collector ships like parasites*

Washington; Watch those corners, anything can be lurking here.

Meta: <I'll scout up ahead after cloaking and search for Tina...>

*The Collectors continued their attack on the enemy fleet, while more Oculi begin chasing down the dropships as they near the Collector Base, while external particle beam turrets on the outside of the base also fire on the incoming craft. As the task force ventures down the wide, craggy tunnel, the eerie silence is abruptly broken by the booming voice of Harbinger*

ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

*A large group of Collector Drones and Guardians, who are protected by barriers, flutter down from the ceiling of the cavern-like tunnel, opening fire on the task force while they're still in the open, closely followed by the glowing form of a possessed Collector hefting a Particle Beam Rifle*

Deciding to join UR inside the ship, I activate the transport pods, as some troopers get inside, me and Blaze going into them as well before heading towards the ship....

The cruiser continues pounding the ship with missiles....

*The agents dive and roll for cover, some quickly snapping from it and firing back as the Meta launches more of the grenades off. The two LMG gunners quickly fire their light miniguns at the enemy forces aswell. My ship fires a new burst of 4 plasma beams at the same ship, hoping to pummel it. The dropships, being near the fleet to make space marine landings upon the roof of the cruisers simply begin landing and deploying their payload*

Washington: F***ing ambushes! Take those things down, or make a run for it? Your call, man!

Agent: Distract 'em with something and run for somewhere else to the next area! Move it guys, MOVE!

*One Collector Cruiser finally explodes, but the rest continue firing on G4E's ship and UR's fleet, heedless of the casualty. The dropships' Oculi pursuers blast the landing craft while they stationary and vulnerable, also strafing the space marines boarders as they do so, before sailing back into space*

*Collectors fall from gunfire, but the Guardians drop down linear, stationary shields to block the remaining enemy fire, popping out from behind to squeeze of the occasional shot, the Collectors blocking the way to the next doorway. Harbinger ignores the occasional shot that hits its barrier, and fires a particle beam at the SPARTANs as he steadily approaches the humans*

My transport pods speed towards the base, dodging between debris and explosions as we near the hangar........

My main crusier fires its heat ray, which slams into a ship at full force......

*The spartans narrowly avoid the attack created by the Harbringer as Washington thinks up a plan for the escape. My ship's main cannons slowly charge up and reload as millions of other guns from every ship among my armada hammer the enemy ships as some space marines survive the strafing run and begin planting bombs on the ships*

Washington: Grenades! Now! We'll run through the smoke to that door ahead and escape! MOVE!

*The Meta, without any hesitation, turns and fires manually detonated grenades towards the door in a row, each making it's mark as the group waits, still blasting the enemy Collectors out of the sky...*

*Dwarfed by the Collector Cruisers themselves, the Space Marines are an insignificant threat. However, another Cruiser is crippled by the heat ray. The Collector fleet continue firing on the enemy fleet, rapidly wearing away at the enemy's shields with their particle beams*

*The Collectors, having long been on the ground, ignore the grenade explosions, either protected by the Guardians' shields or simply heedless of their death. They continue to fire on the SPARTANs' position, when Harbinger suddenly leaps forward, swatting one of the soldiers to the side, sending him sliding towards the edge of the tunnel, near the edge of a massive chasm, the tunnel opening up into a large cave floating over an deep abyss. Harbigner turns to the rest of the squad, sending a golden sphere of energy at the nearest SPARTAN, blasting him with the fireball-esque projectile*

My pods finally reach the hangar, crashing down violently into it, before my guys slowly begin to emerge to aid Meta and the others.....

My cruiser continues pounding the shields.

Machina fleet commander: "Blow them back to hell!"

3 red lasers lock onto a collector's head before a bolt of blue plasma is sent hurtling towards its head......

*The Collectors shift their fire on the new arrivals as they move down the tunnel while Harbinger focuses on the Meta and the SPARTANs*

*The manually detonated grenades don't go off yet as the Meta continues firing them, finishing the line of explosives to the door. The sliding spartan pulls his knife out and stabs it onto the ground as a quick survival move, saving himself from falling into the cave as he slowly climbs out of it. The LMG gunners and rest of the task force turn their weapons on the Harbringer as the grenades detonate and the Meat runs through the forming pillars of smoke and fire while others do the same. My armada's weapons focus on one ship at a time as a damaged destroyer rams into a carrier, blowing both ships up on impact as the rest of my ships keep the pressure up*

Washington: Go, now! You, hustle up!

*The spartan pulls himself up and makes a run for it into the billowing fumes of smoke along with everyone else, bullets still shredding through at the enemy forces...*

*Harbinger staggers before the enemy fire, but it still doesn't die. As the SPARTANs flee, it fires it orb attack at their backs, while the rest of the Collectors turn to fire on the runners. The massive metal door they run up to doesn't open, sealed tightly and impervious to explosives. The only option is hacking, which will take some time*

*The Collector Cruisers refuse to let up, firing their particle beams repeatedly at the enemy ships*

Me and my men emerge form the pods, Uruks ready for battle, Blaze by my side.

"Forward march!"

My men continue marching forward......

One of the collectors at the rear is tackled to the ground by a cloaked being, a metallic extending sound is heard as the being readies for the kill......

*Another Collector fires on the cloaked figure, hitting it in the back with a continuous stream of assault rifle fire*

Thr being snarls before uncloaking, revealing itself a Mr Black. The predator promptly fires his plasma caster at his foe's chest.......

My troop begins to head down the hallway.....

*The troops run headlong into Collector fire, some turning from the task force to attack the new arrivals. The Collector dives to the side, dodging the plasma caster, as the first Collector kicks Mr. Black in the stomach, knocking him off the creature. The two soldiers focus on G4E's men as Harbinger turns to Mr. Black*
