*I snarl and send a massive stream of fire at the Praetorian, burning through it's shields as the Meta roars again, before cloaking and sneaking away towards his new target, moving closer to the Harbringer. The spartan group continues forward, watching everywhere for enemy reinforcements as they neared Tina's location, as small chip from the tracker remaining near her...*

*Before the SPARTANs can find Tina, they arrive in a huge room, with metallic tubing stretching all over the ceiling, leading down an extremely long passage in the distance. Hundreds of pods are lined up across the walls and ceilings, the tubes attached to them. In each is a single user or other NPC human, apparently unconscious. Tina is nowhere to be seen*

Confidence born of ignorance. I am far superior to any creature. I see all, foolish machine!
*With a casual wave of his arm, Harbinger sends the cloaked Meta sailing into the air, before slamming him brutally back into the rocky ground, leaving a shallow crater at the impact zone. The Praetorian screeches, then slams back into the ground in front of UR, its Death Choir pulse sending UR flying and recharging the Praetorian's shields. The armored beast takes off again, burning UR's flesh with its particle rays*

*The Meta merely snarls as it slowly rips massive chunks of debris out of the ground with it as he gets up, while I turn and lash out at the Praetorian, 5 massive claws slashing against it as I burn it again at the same moment. The task force decides to look for some control room or lab that Tina could be held in, before all of them go in one direction except the A.I, who uses far advanced methods of finding the girl*

Meta: <If I WAS a machine, my limbs would have a robotic sound to them as I moved, and I wouldn't be so agile as I am now. I am a life form far superior to your race, but still seem so primitive in the eyes of many!>

A.I: Tina is here... I can feel it... Need to find her... FAST!

Washington: No one checks one place alone anymore, guys! We find her, kick every living thing's a**es on this ship that own it, than blow it up and be home in time for a feast!

*Because of the single passage leading out of the cavern, the task force is for ed to stay together and walk past the lines of pods, before being interrupted by the muffled scream of a girl, followed by quiet banging as someone in a nearby pod awakens and desperately tries to escape*

*The Praetorian's shield is depleted and its armor is scratched, but this does little to stop the machine, which simply stabs UR in the side with a talon, tossing the injured user away. As the Meta speaks, Harbinger's foot collides with his chest, denting his chest armor and pinning him to the ground as the possessed Collector stares mercilessly down at him* An organic? How pitiful. I was hoping for a challenge. *Energy pulses around Harbinger's foot on the Meta's chest, slowly burning through the armor like it was plastic*

*Before the Meta's armor is burned, the alien cyborg grips his foe's leg and flips him onto his back before it pulled itself up, roaring at the Harbringer. Two spartans rushed over and quickly broke the pod open with their knifes and guns. releasing the person before hustling to catch up with everyone else. Me, currently in my dragon form, takes quite some damage from the blow but I still stand as I bite down on the robotic being infront of me, flames erupting from my mouth and violently burning us both*

Meta: <Not only am I an organic being, but I am also a robotic creature with intense strength at the same moment!>

Washington: Follow us if you want to live, but hurry! We ain't waiting no more!

*The female human nods mutely, but freezes, watching in horror as steam begins to leak from the rest of the pods. As if in unison, the pods' true function activates: the people inside awaken, screaming in horror as they begin to dissolve, their bodies swiftly and painfully melting down into raw genetic material in the form of a grayish liquid that is rapidly pumped through the metal tubes and further down the passage the task force are moving through. Before the human can so much as scream, a bullet hits her in the skull, killing her instantly, and a clutch of Collectors charge down the passage, firing on the task force. A large Seeker swarm follows the Collectors from behind, their buzzing downing out the agonized screams of the remaining humans as they're processed*

*Obviously uninterested, Harbinger extends a hand, blasting the Meta backwards with another energy sphere and badly scorching his armor* Whatever you are, creature, you will simply die with all the rest!

*The Praetorian, its armored leg scorched, angrily throws UR off its, sending him crashing to the ground as it levitates out of reach, burning UR's flesh with its particle ray*

*As my flesh is burned, scorched feathers seem to either fall off or remain where they are as I flap my wings, flying upwards towards the Praetorian. The Meta simply grunts in amusement as the cyborg kicks the Harbringer from under his feet due to landing nearby before getting up, the cackle of a thousand voices ringing out from the Meta's helmet. The task force quickly run for cover as one man takes a shot to the head for the one he'd rescued, allowing her a chance to make a run for it as a firefight breaks out again, while a large bolt of plasma streams down the hall towards the Collectors*

Meta: <You satisfy my taste for bloodshed, alien. Hear that? That's the sound of the countless amount of beings I have destroyed in my short lifetime!>

Washington: Man down! Open fire, take these things out!

A.I: Don't worry, I'll hold 'em off! You guys try making a run for it!

*The Seeker swarm swiftly descends on the group, bouncing off shields, but stinging the unfortunate human and putting her in a stasis field, carrying the paralyzed human away. More of the cybernetic creatures swarm over the A.I., swiftly carrying the armor into the air as well, filling the skies above the task force as the Collectors continue firing on them*

*Harbinger stands and stares flatly at the Meta* Killed countless beings? You? I don't think you understand. *Harbinger's Collector body begins to glow even brighter, energy pulsing off it in waves, keeping the Meta from moving closer him* My kind have existed longer than you can fathom. We have destroyed hundreds of thousands of ancient civilizations at the apex of their glory! The cycle has repeated itself more times than your feeble mind can even begin to comprehend. We have no beginning; we have no end; we simply are. Do you think the Collectors are the true threat? They are a means to an end. We have annihilated every galactic society that has ever existed without them, and we will do it again!

*Finally, a massive wave of energy surges outwards, sending the Meta flying impossibly far, crashing into a wall on the far side of the room, his armor denting in several places, the armor itself superheated from the blast and glowing white-hot, burning the being within*

You are nothing but vermin, and you will be exterminated as such.

*Meanwhile, the Praetorian blasts UR back to the ground with another particle ray blast, keeping him pinned to the ground*

*The Meta begins laughing meniacly as the voices die out, before the cyborg gets up and rips a huge chunk of wall out from nearby, throwing it at the Harbringer soon afterwards. I screech and roll to the left, before getting up and flying upwards and slashing the Praetorian again, my other hand grasping onto it and pulling us both down. The spartans begin shooting madly at the enemy units in hopes of saving the girl being taken from them, as the A.I throws my armor's right arm upwards, the wrist blade impaling one of it's captors as the rocket boots roar to life, the A.I flying around in hopes of shaking them off*

Meta: <You simply don't understand, do you? Pain doesn't harm me, as any damage done will be fixed almost immediately from my robotic pieces that make my deformed self whole!>

Washington: Remove these vermin from existance! I want them all dead, A.S.A.P!

A.I: Get off me, pests!

*Using the demon soul, Deathwing watches the battle between UR's task force and the seeker swarm, chuckling to himself.* Deathwing:Yes. Continue to fight and entertain me, although that swarm looks like it could be a possible ally force worth my time to contact.

Blaze raises a shield of magma up around me to protect me form them, while he opens his maw and spits out a stream of magma at the collectors.....

Vegnagun does a barrel roll out of the way of the weapon, resulting in it losing one of its mechanical limbs. The Machina roars in pain, still charging its laser, now moving around erratically as it fires at Sovereign with its numerous other weapons in an attempt to let it charge its ultimate weapon......

*Harbinger dodges the chunk of rock with ease by simply sidestepping. Suddenly, the Meta is blasted backwards against the wall again. Harbinger grabs the creature by the throat and lifts him up, but pauses, as if distracted by some distant threat. Suddenly, he tosses the Meta casually to the side and walks away*

You are of no consequence to me. If you do not die here, you will when we come for you. Enjoy your pointless distraction. I have more urgent matters to attend to. Releasing control of this vessel.

*The body suddenly falls forward, turning to dust before it hits the ground, as the Collector General releases its control. The Praetorian suddenly slams itself into the ground as it falls, crushing UR underneath, firing its particle rays at point-blank into the user's face. The Seekers, being only the size of bees, cannot simply be impaled and continue to cart the armor away, their sheer numbers outweighing the A.I. as they carry it farther down the passage, over the Collector soldiers, and into the next chamber*

*Sovereign, deciding that suitable damage has been done, retreats back towards the Collector Base, firing one last dorsal cannon shot at Vegnagun. The Collectors scatter in mid-air as the magma comes toward them, and they flutter to the ground, shooting at G4E and Blaze from all sides*

*I quickly pull myself up with one arm, still holding the Praetorian in the other before slashing across it with my razor-like claws again. The Meta snarls and slowly gets up, his brute shot by his side. The A.I, being in the suit of armor, quickly begins flying around the room with the rocket boots, taking his captors in multiple directions to shake them off*

Meta: <Come on, kill me! Do it! Do it, now!>

A.I: If this ain't warming ya up, this WILL!

*The plasma cannon suddenly releases flames filled with heated plasma, burning some of his captors as he continues flying around with them all...*

*The Space Pirate pod bangs against the hull of the Collector base a few times, befor efinally entering the Hanger, the pod crashes against the hanger floor, steam coming out of the pod, before it opens up, 15 Space Pirates leap out, and so does Meta-Ridley...*

Meta-Ridley: Alright boys... go ahead and kill what you want while I rescue Tina... have fun!

*The Praetorian, which has no easy handholds, simply slips from UR's grasp and stabs him in the chest with its pointed limb, before throwing him to the side, letting him land on top of the Meta. The Seeker swarms release their grip on the A.I. armor, letting him drop over the new, deep chasm right below him, with only a single metallic, hexagonal platform attached to the nearby cliff providing rescue*

*The Space Pirates and Meta-Ridley and instantly attacked by a swarm of Collectors, who open fire on the exposed soldiers as they emerge from the sides of the tunnel MR's group is in*

*The A.I, who's rocket boots are still engaged, quickly flies towards the swarm of seekers before roasting them with his flamethrower on the plasma cannon. I fly up and manage to avoid crushing the Meta as he fires more flaming and explosive canisters at the Praetorian*

Washington: Hurry it up! F***ing shoot! Make every single shot count, guys!

Agent: Open fire! Remove this scum and hustle it up, guys!

*Considering the lack of any kind of canister in the Collector Base, nothing happens, and any grenades simply explode agains the Praetorian's armor plating. It screeches and fires its particle beam at the pair again, frustrated at their inability to be harmed apparently*

*The Seekers merely disperse, vanishing into the darkness. The chasm the A.I. is in leads into an even more massive tunnel, the tubing above leading into the distant darkness, and towards Tina's pod's location...*

*The Collectors scatter, as if on cue, and seem to vanish from sight or fluttering away towards the ceiling of the cavern, obviously in retreat*

(Eh, the Meta and I HAVE been being dealt pain, dude...)

*I raise an arm up to try and keep the beam from my face, my fore-arm being scorched by the heat in the process. The Meta continues firing his grenades, but slumps of and passes out from the wounds he'd sustained. The A.I turns to see the tubing, shortly before using the helmet's HUD to pick which way he'd go to find Tina, before picking the right one*

A.I: Hang in their, Tina. We're all coming for you, don't worry...

*The Praetorian focuses its fire on UR now that the Meta is down, slowly drifting closer to the user*

*The A.I. can only go down one tunnel, and soon arrives at three of the hovering hexagonal platforms stuck together. On the center one is Harbinger in the body of another Collector, tapping at a console on Tina's pod, which sits in front of him. A large tuber extends from the pod and connects to the ones high above, lading straight to what looks like a gigantic metal human skeleton with no legs. Its spine hangs limply below it, and it is held up by its clawed arms by the tubing, which connects directly to its superstructure. Its left eye socket as two "eyes," instead of one. Harbinger doesn't even turn from his work as he speaks*

Where are your friends? It is certainly taking them awhile to get here without any resistance to stop their progress anymore...
