Natasaika's feet slowly kicked through the water, making it move in random patterns as she sighed, wondering how she'd save Uriel. "It just isn't right," she thought, "it was just searching for food, and we attacked it." She sighed again, her head lowered and her eyes shut as she moved her legs through the water. Servan continued his work back at their home, soon getting everything back into place before running outside. He soon was sprinting towards the forest, going towards the smallest trees so he could cut them down with a wooden axe, a rock at the top of it meant for cutting, but not for fighting...

after a short period of time, the thumping of wings began to reach an audible level in the distance, closing in on the village, undoubtedly reaching the ears of Servan in the process. the Dragon began to descend as he approached the village, wondering what luck he'd have this time around...

Natasaika's eyes opened when she heard the beat of wings in the distance, the guards around Uriel hearing it aswell. She turned her head to see the dragon coming down towards the village, and quickly got up, waving her arms for it to come over towards the bay. The elf guards didn't move a muscle, their only task being to watch the dragon they captured. Servan began chopping a couple of trees down, bringing them to the forest floor and removing the leaves soon afterwards. He'd drag one at a time to his home, than fix them up to repair his and Natasaika's home...

as Septimus approached, he caught sight of a woman waving him down. he had almost seen her too late, but managed to change his approach angle enough to head towards her, going into a dive, before spreading his wings suddenly, slowing abruptly and landing with a light thump before the woman, the Dragon in a crouch, his head held low to the ground, before raising it and craning it up, looking down at the elven woman curiously. he had scanned the surroundings for traps and had seen none, and so allowed himself freedom to speak. "What is it you were waving at me for?" growled the Dragon curiously...

The girl had been shocked to her the dragon speak to her, but managed to say, "it isn't safe for you here. A dragon came earlier, and some of the warriors here attacked it, captured it and restrained it at the center of the village. The guards of the village are trying to make sure nothing else enters our village, and will try killing anything besides us on sight, unless my brother or I say otherwise. You'll need to go before they find you!" Soon, Natasaika quickly glanced around, making sure none of the villagers had seen her with this new dragon she was encountering. Servan pulled the first, and largest tree he had cut down to his home. It was quite heavy for the man, despite how small it actually was, but he still had managed to drag it back to his hut with some ease...

After a long while of trekking through the woods, Desrium came to the edge of the forest. After the tree line, the land transitioned into a plain, with wind sweeping across the grassy ground every now and again. In the distance were the figures of mountains. Tall and jagged, the range had snow capped peaks, with puffy clouds rolling past. Just before the gigantic rock wall was a fairly large settlement. This one seemed more advanced than the other one he came across. Their constructs were of stone and wood, making strong homes and multistory buildings, some 20 stories tall. Some of the light gray buildings had wooden wheels at the top, reeling a rope that spanned to rooftop to rooftop. The spinning was caused by water flowing down a canal under the stone streets of the city, the current spinning a simple turbine in the houses the water flowed under. The power was disributed throughout the town via the ropes, the perpetual reeling spinning turbine after turbine throughout the settlement. The city would be lit not by fire light, but the bright yellow glow of burning filliment in lamps. Intrigued, Desrium walked across the grassland towards the city limits

"Capturing Dragons?.....I was told by a village by the cliffs that i could find libraries and temples here. i'm searching for information" growled Septimus as he eyed the woman. "Couldn't you put in the word for me? at the very least, i'd like a book on the history of this place"...

"There are no temples and libaries here," Natasaika soon replied after making sure it was safe, "only these wooden huts, us and our ways of life. Whoever told you we were so advanced had lied to you." She glanced around again, still not sure if anyone had seen her with this dragon. Servan soon walked back towards the forest after putting the first tree down, heading towards the other 5 he'd cut down with little ease. Once he got there, he grasped onto the next largest trunk and slowly dragged it to his home...

"I see" came Septimus' reply, his black and silver form seeming to shimmer in the sunlight, his bioluminescent patterns barely visible as giving off their own light due to the power of the sun above. the Dragon's head lowered so that it was level with the woman's, growling "What did the dragon do to provoke capture?"...

"Nothing, exactly. But I guess my brother believed it was going to head further into the village and attack everyone, so he had a guard warn everyone," Natasaika stated, finally finished looking around to be sure no one was watching the two. "If someone sees you, they'll be likely to run and raise an alarm, then warriors will hunt you down like hunters with a wild animal," she soon said. Servan, soon getting the tree to his home, stretched his arms out, tired from the days events, shortly before walking back towards the forest. He had stabbed his axe into the ground when he brought the second log, and was wandering to where he'd left the other 4...

"W-wait... that kind of cut... could it be?" Trajan began to state, before Dione cut him off with a side glance. "It seems like he was stabbed there while looking around for something. Judging from the size of the injury, it looks like a knife wound." Dione responded, her eyes now cast dwn upon her father's dad body. Who it was that killed the Pope of Germania was rather unclear, but she had a suspicion of who it might be...

Septimus' eyes narrowed as he heard that the dragon had been imprisoned for no reason. "They captured and restrained it for nothing? and you didn't stop them?" he growled. "How could you bare to let this happen and remain silent? the creature did nothing to harm you, and yet you restrain it, leaving it to await whatever fate they decide for it?......barbarians" he snarled, eyes gazing down on the girl, flaring a tint of purple for a moment, feelings of guilt picking at the woman's mind as Septimus began to influence her mentally in an attempt to free the dragon...

"There... was nothing I could do. I'm just one person, and I was hopelessly outnumbered by the amount of warriors chasing it, just like the dragon," Natasaika replied, peeking from the side of a hut to see the captured dragon, along with the many guards protecting it. "I can probally get one of the higher authorities within our people to sort this thing out. My brother may be in control of what goes around in this village, but he has no control of what we do with other creatures," she had soon said. Servan finally brought the last few tree trunks to his home, and soon began cutting them into thin pieces with his bone knife. He sat at the largest tree, removing some of the biggest strips of wood from it so he could repair his own home...

"Well, with poor Jeetis dead, it seems like ou'll have to suceed him as Pope of Germania, Dione." Trajan said. He looked down at the corpse ofhis old friend, remembering the good times he had with him years past. The man had been a tutor to him when he was but a child. When Trajan's father had been killed, it was Jeetis who suggested having Trajan be crowned emperor of Germania. Since then, the two of then had bickered about a few things, like whom had the true power over Germania. But to see him dead here... "If that's so, then my first act as Pope will be to have all the servants that are currently asleep checked right now." Dione barked, shaking Trajan from his thoughts. "Waita second! What makes you think that it was one of my servants that killed him? Itcould have been an envious minor pope, or an assasin from another knigdom-" Trajan stammered, shocked at what Dione had said...

Septimus' voice began to rumble in his throat lowly. "How long will that take? last i saw authorities had a tendency to be too late to achieve what they were supposed to be doing in the first place. for all we know by the time you get in touch with the 'authorities' and get them to listen the dragon may already be dead!" he growled...

"The council is in a village within the forest. I'll be able to convince them they need to free this dragon, if possible. If thye won't, I have other plans. My brother decided not to kill this creature, but find other use for it," Natasaika stated, still watching the captive Uriel with the guards around him. If she couldn't manage to reason with the council running their faction, she'd have to free the dragon herself at any costs. Servan proceeded to cut strips from the next tree after finishing the first one, quickly tearing wood from it.

Ikargu, growing bored of sitting and just watching the world slowly move around him, leapt from his perch and soared through the sky, flapping his wings when he began to descend towards the ground. The ice dragon flew past the jungle and towards the wrecked town again, swooping over the damaged buildings and soon seeing civilization some distance from him...

Dione closed her eyes, a slight smirk on her face before she turned her back to the Emperor. "When I was heading out of the building earlier today, I noticed one of your servants heading out back, with something in his right hand. Judging from what I saw, the man was about 5ft 7, had very short black hair, and was wearing a ragged toga, as opposed to the usual servant clothing..." Dione stated as she turned slightly, looking out of the corner of her eyes to se the shocked looks on both Trajan and his three servant's faces. "T-That can't be! It has to- Hold on a second... Ther's only one person working for me that owns a torn toga..." Trajan cursed as he dashed don the stairs. Dione and the three servants chased off after him, wondering what he'd do to he man....

"Other......other use? other USE?! so now you intend to enslave it?!" snarled Septimus furiously. "It's obvious your attempts are destined to fail. your elders won't free the dragon. they'll torture it and try and tame it, to use against your enemies....everyone always does" growled the Dragon lowly as he turned from the woman, spreading his wings. "Stay away from the dragon if you know what's good for you...lest you become a victim of it's wrath when it's free" snarled Septimus, as he leapt into the air, beating his powerful wings as he flew up vertically at high speed, his wings powering the Dragon upwards into the atmosphere, the Dragon haulting once he was sure no arrow or net could be fired at him. narrowing his eyes on the trapped dragon, he unleashed a booming roar, warning the dragon of his presence and to make sure it was ready. as he did so, he began to chant lowly, the runes on his arms pulsating faintly, his glowing blue hands coming forward in a position resembling someone in mid-clap, 6 blue orbs of mana extending from his hands and zipping into the center as the dragon let out a tiny jet of flame which caught all 6 simultaniously, the orbs now glowing white instead of blue, circling for a moment between the Dragon's claws as he concentrated on his target.....the ropes holding Uriel to the ground. swinging his clawed hands outwards, the orbs shot downwards with pinpoint precision, each flaming orb hardly wider than a person's head, if that. each of the anchor ropes were scorched, the ropes seemingly untwining themselves, reduced to groups of thin threads unravelled, making them weak enough to break through...
