Seems like I wasn't on to see the fireworks going... Oh well...

Just did a LIVE match on Black Ops... Makes me want to continue playing Matchmaking on Halo: Reach.. Atleast there, you DIDN'T DIE IN ONE HIT!

in the 60s they didn't have energy shields. :P

their medical facilities were more like bandages, pliers and alchohol rather than medical gel.

so yeah. are you REALLY that surprised? :P

difference between Halo Reach and Black Ops:

Black Ops: :boom:
Halo Reach: :bonk:

Ha, classic Halo argument. Meanwhile it still takes a full goddamn clip emptied into the opponent plus a melee to win, and that'll usually bring you down to blinking health. Basically makes it whoever sees/starts shooting first wins.

COD focuses more on realism, and Halo is more focused on balance (even if it doesn't do a particularly good job...). At least, that's as near as I can tell.

V-V- Volunteers? ...for what?!?!

Now, time for MY little Big Bad for my plotline to start making it's appearance... though technically, it's already appeared... twice before it's latest appearance, maybe even three times...

Yeah, Blak Ops Matchmaking is so very aggrivating and hard... DAMN RC CARS!

Yeah pretty much. Many people tend to not like the COD style of fast death; I don't think I did. But once you get used to it, it's a blast playing.
I personally like MW better than Black Ops anyway. Treyarch tried and failed to use Infinity Ward's style of gameplay and setup.

On one hand, dying that quickly can be REALLY annoying.

On the other hand, killing someone with one short burst of gunfire when they didn't even know you were there is deliciously satisfying. :D

I never actually played Black Ops. I've played MW2 and WaW, but that's it.

I hated World At War. Zombies was alright I guess, but in general it wasn't an appealing game, after Modern Warfare.
It can be annoying, but as I said, after a few games, you get used to it, and learn how to avoid dying that quickly. I also like COD's game type variants better. Search And Destroy is better than any of Halo's variants, IMO. Oddball is alright, and King Of The Hill, but they don't really compare.

Personally, I never liked many objective-based game variants. I'm more of a KILL EVERYTHING IN SIGHT kind of person.

Well, that and Invasion in Halo: Reach. Probably one of the best gametype ideas Bungie ever came up with, especially the new one on Breakpoint.

i haven't played Black Ops online yet, but i've seen my bro playing on his PS3. IMO, One in the Chamber is the most potentially entertaining game mode. though of course, to actually enjoy it you need a very good internet connection....which i unfortunately can't get ahold of unless everyone in the house is unconscious...

Gira, your last FRPG post DRIPS with Anime. the entire talking style oozes anime. especially Trajan's reaction. really gave me a chuckle how i could imagine that in anime style. hell, complete with Japanese voice over. you need to watch more western TV :P

and volunteers for the soul collecting. they're gonna need to do a bit of killing...sacrifice and such...not to mention the various other things they'll be doing...

Sigh... well, Western Television has just... bored me to no end during the last few years. Sci Fi channel's filled with horrible films, good old Cartoons are gone, having been replaced with absolute crud, and the soap operas are just... annoying and dull. Heck, the only good things on nowadays are Mythbusters, One or two programs on Animal Planet, and MAYBE the Office. Pus, I was trying to make the Guard's speech more... "Biblical", not Anime-based, but hey, tis what happens when I'm forced to watch a more... oriental media....Though now that you mention it... :P

Gira: You should watch TruTV and 1000 Ways to Die. I usually get a laugh out of World's Dumbest. XP

Speaking of Black Ops' Wager match One in the Chamber, I almost got first in it once, but than some guy screwed it up, A.K.A my little brother...

Actually, I DO occasionally watch 1000 ways to die, but more often than not, I'm in an environment that doesn't allow me to watch it. (IE, my mom and step-dad are in the same room...)
