Thank you. ^_^

No, no, don't apologize. XD KP isn't ashamed to tear apart my art and neither should you be. I know I need to improve (boy is that an understatement. XD) so I take all criticism I can get and try to make myself a better artist.

Eh, well... my criticism fails. That's a factor of why I hate it... :D

Nahh, just point out anything you think looks wrong and I'll let you know if if the flaw is intentional or not. XP

Well... I must rid my mind of being a critic now... so I'm off to my deprogramming machine, or whatever you call them!

Been a while.

Anyway. This was drawn in a fit of artistic boredom. (I'd also just finished watching Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Hence the Bryan Adams lyrics. <_>) Also wanted to get away from a project I'm doing for V-day....not a mushy pic, but a comic.

Somehow, the pose looks a little off....but I can't put my finger on what exactly is off about it...maybe one of you guys can tell me?

I think it looks fine (of course, my montitor's retarded and I can only see the red parts :P).

hmm....well, the front left paw [the one held off the ground] seems a little bit too broad and square. the 'ankles' seem a tiny bit too high up.....and the cat's pupils seem to be slightly off. that or the legs are disproportionately long for the cat at that angle. but i'm no cat expert.

I'd suggest using imageshack or dA [take the link from the windowed expanded version and IMG it. i think it should work] to fix the issue with the pixelated red spots. they seem blocky and reduce the attraction of the pic. aside from that, the only problem i can find at present is that the reds are too bright, and look painted/glowing rather than natural. maybe attempting to fade it would help. might give it a shot sometime soon. tamper with it with my art programs and see if i can't make it more realistic.

i think the reason it looks off, aside from the issues mentioned above, is the lack of symmetry in the patterns. take the face for example. so yeah, that might be contributing to it...

KP: Neither am I. XD That's why I can't quite figure out what exactly is wrong. The legs might be too long, I dunno. Might go back and mess around a bit later.

The dA method won't work. I've tried it before. As for Imageshack...I think the result would be the same. Picture gets pixellated, red gets blurred, quality of the image drops. >_<

lol. The colors weren't meant to be realistic. Neither were the patterns meant to be symmetrical. This is sort of a character reserved specifically for vent art, or for when I don't feel like drawing Warriors but want to draw a cat.

GF: Tried turning up the contrast on your monitor?

nah. Imageshack doesn't pixelate red like Photobucket does. that's the one upside i know. overall i prefer Photobucket.

Photobucket's quicker...dunno why but I just dislike using Imageshack.

Cause I felt like it.

And the Psycho Teddy song has been stuck in my head since last night. XD

And it's true. My friends say I'm cute or pretty (or if you listen to my boyfriend, beautiful, though I'm not sure how realistic that one is), but given the chance, I'd drink a cup of blood (my own or someone else's, doesn't matter to me so long as they don't have any blood-borne illnesses) or gladly try to kill someone I hated.

Hence, cute but psycho. XP

I offered to draw Andruil as a werewolf for KP.

Thanks to him for cleaning up the drawing. Done on two pieces of 14x11 posterboard with #2 pencil, inked with my trusty Rollerball pen.

He looks kinda like he's posing on a cat walk xD (doggy walk?)

Anyway, looks great, however, he looks like an ordinary bloke. Like some werewolf you might meet in a bar. Which really is absolutely fine, just surprising. It's odd to find a werewolf one can relate to, rather than the fantasy norm, biceps the size of basketballs.

Thanks. ^_^

lmao. I said the same thing to KP. "To be or not to be?" XP

Yeah. I don't like drawing huge biceps. Just seems...i dunno, ridiculous? cause every werewolf pic I find looks like their bones should be caving under the strain of their muscles.

KP's character's werewolf form, colored.

Remember I said I did this drawing on two sheets of posterboard? ...Yeah. >_< So the quality of this pic isn't as good as the lineart.

Gore time!

The story behind this one is my boyfriend asked me to draw an album cover for his death metal band, Caught Red Handed. He asked for gore - I delivered. XP

If he asks me to I'll ink and color this.

Inked and colored. :3

Ooh. Looks tasty. :P VEry creative. How'd you do the entrails? (Could be useful for future drawings.... :P)

Entrails are a delicacy, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. >.>

XP

Anyway, I basically did the intestines by drawing random lines and hoping they looked natural. I know internal human anatomy, but drawing those insides is harder than you might think. XP
