The vector beams ceased, the wasp relying on momentum to finish crossing the rest of the distance to the object, carefully fine tuning his heading as he approached. The cyborg's reticle focused on the giant flying object, preparing a fly by scan, while he prepared his weaponry to dispatch yet another possible hostile.

The large mechanical sphere continued to move past the planet Saturn toward Earth, as if unaware of the mechanical wasp. Already, cartain kinds of-messages that had been sent out from the Earth, such as those from the large sattelite dishes meant to contact life from other worlds, were hitting the sphere, and were being decyphered. Hopefully, it would be able to uncover some of the language used on the Planet Earth, for its own purposes..

Spinnerax hurdled past the UFO, taking in measurements in energy output and size. He had also stored the images of the alien writing that was inscribed on the craft's metallic hull, not recognizing the script. He would archive it until he had more information in his databanks. The space wasp fired off a vector pulse off to his side, making a U-turn, though he continued to drift away from the entity until firing a pulse to cancel his forward momentum and send him flying after the craft once more, following it. With this speed, the wasp was able to take more indepth readouts. He would be able to detect any and all weaponry the sphere might have and possible life signs that might point to a piloted ship.

The massive sphere, unaware of Spinnerax's presence, simply continued to make its way through the solar system toward earth. By now, it was hurtling through the Asteroid belt, the sphere moving just out of the way to avoid each and every asteroid that it would otherwise hit. The inside of the sphere had no weapons, due to it being a simple probe, and it was being guided by something controlling it, though it wasn't exactly piloted. Its speed began to slow down, so as to not overshoot Earth...

Spinnerax weaved through the rocky obstacle course, minor shots of his vector beams correcting for any maneuvers the wasp made as he cut in between the asteroids. While finding no trace of weaponry or organic life, the cyborg wasp kept his guard up. The immense size of the object meant that it could have been carrying deactivated, robotic forces meant for the Earth. Perhaps even a mech was onboard. To prevent a galactic incident, the wasp attempted to contact the vessel with the simplest form of communication he had: A series of droning wavering and beeping. He hailed the craft with the electronic frequency, expecting the guiding system to not only recognize the signal, but return it in a display of mutual peace. If not, the craft would be marked as an enemy and attacked.

Jackson turned a corner to his right after finally coming to the end of the hallway. He had spent some time staring out in the dark chamber just outside the windows, but despite his best efforts, couldnt make out what the giant metal figures were. Now, he was standing outside a silver panel door, a keypad resting beside the handle. "Figures..." He thought, not sure what to do now. "Hello!" He called out, his voice echoing throughout the area. He was hoping his voice would reach the other person over the intercom system.

The space probe returned the frequency that was sent at it, not exactly as Spinnerax had sent to it, but in its own slightly diffrent manner. By now, it was heading past Mars, and its destination, Earth, was in sight...

Meanwhile, on the island of Hawaii, Blight yanked himself onto shore, the dragon breathing heavily. His wounds still stung from the sea water, but atleast the bleeding had stopped. A few of the smaller wounds had fully regenreated by now, but the larger ones, especially the last ones he recieved, were still slowly recovering... The dragon's head collapsed onto the beach, his eyes slowly twitching. He was a failure... a complete failure to the rest of his kind. He had been sent to conquer this planet... but instead, he got wrecked by another Invader...

Spinnerax took note of the ship's communicative capabillities. While it couldnt replicate the signal precisely, it was still able to comprehend its intention. The wasp sent another message to the craft, though encrypted within it was a copy of a language data bank, one of the few languages he managed to intergrate from past travels. The text was chosen because it read with simple variations of sound, easilly replicated digitally. The alien ship should be able to translate the cyborg's message with the new information.

"Unknown vessel; state your purpose in this system"

The cyborg wasp spread his wings, siphoning the energy of the sun's rays...

The probe absorbed the message carefully, before decyphering the information in a matter of seconds. the sphere turned to face Spinnerax, so that the main screen was aimed right at him. The screen seemed to glow, before the following words, in the same language that Spinnerax had sent to it, appeared on the screen.

"My primary purpose in this system is to check up on an old friend, one who hasn't been heard for 1,000 years, yet has recently been confirmed to be alive. Protocole dicates to reestablish communications with him."

"Inadequate answer. Clarfication required" The cyborg replied. By now, the wasp's suspicions that the craft was a unit of enemy forces were raised. The claw mark insignia that it displayed reminded him of the golden behemoth and the black dragon he had driven off. Either one of them could have been the vanguard for an invasion, and this ship was coming with aid for the defeated monsters.

The words on the probe's screen vanished, only to be replaced with these new words.

"I have been sent to check up on this individual."

Below the words, an image appeared on the screen. The image was of a large, pitch black dragon, with a horrendous face, oversized fangs, and massive wings. In other words, it was an image of Blight. The image and previous words were erased, before a new sentance appeared.

"He had been sent to the planet called Earth 1000 years ago to search for a new home for his kind. The previous planet he had lived on had been ravaged by a deadly beast, and only a few of his kind had survived. He was elected to head to Earth to pave the way for the restof his kind... However, contact with him was lost almost as soon as he reached Earth. We feared the worst. And yet, just recently, we have detected his life source from Earth. Curious as we are, we sent this probe to earth to regain contact with him, and to explain to him what has happened these past 1,000 years..."

This was all the Probe has to say, and indeed, he was telling the truth... most of it. He was leaving out a tad bit of information, information that wasn't needed for this pesky space-wasp or for the inhabitants of Earth to know... indeed, the probe was already nearing Earth's atmosphere, and was slowing down even more. It altered its movement a tad bit, so that it would be aimed for a large body of water... the Pacific Ocean...

The probe's message would never be completed past the picture of Blight. At that instant, the wasp diverted the extra power he had been getting from the sun to his horn, the weapon having been prepped to fire since the wasp was approaching the alien craft. The glowing red horn suddenly flashed white, seconds later the overcharged blast shot forward, straight into the vessel's screen and bursting through it, the spiral of energy piercing deep into craft and damaging several vital systems. The fact the ship was never intended for combat meant that it's armor wasnt supposed to withstand such a concentration of energy. The white hot stream of heat punched through the hull on the other side of the ship, several explosions erupting from the molten holes. Spinnerax watched the flaming wreck, feeling his ire burn deep inside of him.

The probe sputterd ans shook from the blast, before going dead. Yes, it was made to take alot of punishment from the harshness fo space, but not anything like this. The probe simply drifted through space, now completely dead, as it hurtled toward the sun... However, it would not be the last probe to try to make contact with Blight...

The white hot spiralling column of heat pushed the now wrecked craft on impact, adding to the momentum that now sent it hurdling off course, eliminating any chance for the probe to crash onto the Earth. Spinnerax pointed his drills ahead and fired a vector pulse, halting himself miles away from the planet he swore to protect. He was picking up sporadic readouts from the critically damaged vessel as it moved away and he was sure that it wasnt in working order, just as he was sure that another one of the vessels would come in the future to complete the mission this one failed, possibly armed to defend itself on the journey. All the same, Spinnerax would intercept it and destroy it, then hunt down the loathsome black dragon. It would either leave the planet never to return, or die.

signals came up across Horus' HUD, marking various energy signals as small sub-windows showed videos of Krakatoa, the bellowing roar echoing from within. 2 energy signals stood out to Horus at the moment. one, he identified as S-156. the volcanic saurian identified by The OWL. the second, was a Dragon, which DHARMA Satellites identified as S-161, a data file on the beast appearing to one side of the HUD. wasting no time, Horus flew towards Hawaii and twice the speed of sound, intending to intercept and eliminate the threats as soon as possible, not wanting to risk more destruction...

On the shores of Hawaii, Blight was already fast asleep, the dragon's wings spread out over much of the beach. He was very weary from his fight against Spinnerax, and completely exhausted. Right now, all he needed was some sleep, and hopefully, he would be completely regenerated when he woke up...

The furious titan thunders toward the beach, noticing the body of Blight washed ashore. A puff of smoke bursts from his nose, before he stomps over to the dragon and delivers a ferocious kick to its head. "GET OFF MY ISLAND!" The saurian bellows. "THIS IS NOT YOUR LAND TO NAP ON!"

a golden beam tore across the ground just feet away from Blight, over the water, the beam vaporising the water and slicing up onto land, streaking across Blight's back, cauterising the wounds freezing the regeneration on that spot in it's tracks, the wound sealed, skin and regenerative cells killed instantly, the beam slicing across the Dragon's back, across his shoulder and ceasing shortly after, two missiles slamming into Infernus' side and exploding violently in a cone of shrapnel tearing right into the Saurian's side, Horus tearing past overhead, the boom of the sound barrier almost ear-shattering to those below, the gust of wind trailing behind the beast blowing up sand and dust, effectively blinding the monsters below to what was above...

Infernus roars from the explosion, shaking his head and growling, before sniffing the air, trying to catch IHorus' scent. Angered again, the saurian fires his heat beam into the sky, sweepnig it in random directions in an attempt to hit his foe, lighting up the sky with fire....

Blight howled in pain and agony as the vicious beam and the kick woke him up. The pain... it was now near unbearable... Just what on earth was it with the inhabitants of this planet? Were they all more powerful than him? Was his mission in vain? The dragon, only now wanting to rest in peace, charged toward the water, before he leapt into the depths of the sea. Right now, he no longer cared about his mission... he only wanted to survive...

most of the beams shot blind, though one streaked past under the Dragon, Horus swiftly banking round, proceeding to circle the island at a distance, beginning to consider his options. Volcanic in nature...this would be an issue...simply overpowering it would be wasteful...especially considering there were several other threats located across the planet that he'd have to intercept soon. he'd have to find alternatives to end this fight with as little loss of resources as possible...
