Bane rushed between trees, not bothering to avoid thin twigs or leaves that scraped against him. He jumped out into a clearing, hoping to use the trees there as a vantage point to look for...
He froze on the spot as he landed, in full view of a medium sized rex, Renegade at his feet...

Gustav swam bellow a massive fish beast preparing to strike. The giant croc knew that the size of this beast was no problem, he himself weighing more than the fish. What confused Gustav though, the creature breathed air just as he did. The fish looked like sharks Gustav has consumed but its quite bigger. Gustav decided it was now or never, with a great burst of speed Gustav swam towards the unexpecting prey. Within feet now Gustav opens his massive jaws, with an explusion of water Gustav gripped the killer whale around the mid-section. The fight was brief and Gustav dragged the beast closer to shore, so not to be bothered. As Gustav twists different pieces of meat from the whale the giant croc tastes something metalic, little did Gustav know it was a tracking device...

Crusher grumbled as he nudged the Raptor, trying to wake it, grumbled all the while about how the one time he actually had the will to attempt to sleep, it was ruined by Raptors trying to fly. he was shaken from his disgruntled muttering as he spotted a second Raptor, staring directly at him, and the Raptor at his feet. "This yours?" growled the Rex, a sigh punctuating his question, the Rex submitting to the ridiculous nature of the world around him. this was no doubt a dream. Must've been something in that Coelophysis thought the Rex. I KNEW something was odd about the way it moved. the sun had fallen behind the horizon, the sky darkening rapidly, the distant roars and bellows of dinosaurs, carnivore and herbivore alike, fading as many settled in to rest, the sounds replaced by the songs of insects in the surrounding trees and bushes, a consistent, though relatively quiet hiss coming from the surrounding undergrowth, the sources perfectly camouflaged in the blacks, browns, greens and yellows of the ambient foliage...

Bias consumed what he could of the Pterosaur, leaving the head to drift off into the sea. The giant croc also swam out toward the sea. This would make for an ideal new territory for him. The beach here had few visitors, the food in the sea was plentiful, and basking in the sun was very easy here. In all retrospects, this was a perfect territory, especially with the cycads and palm trees dotting the sandy beach...

Meanwhile, Moa and her young one finished uup what was left of the carcass. The head couldn't be eaten, so she left it alone. Though the swamp was an ideal nursery, she would have to take her young one to the sea, for that was where Mosasaurs lived. The large female Hainosaurus grunted to her daughter, and immediately, she swam up beside her mother, right between her right front flipper and the main body, before her mother slowly swam off, taking her away from the safety of the swamp, and down to the main river that flowed through th enorthern part of the island...

Back on land, Blackside and Monozu were still fast asleep, the former apparently dreaming of something, for she was reaching out at something invisible, her jaws snapping...

Eradicus said or did not a thing other than lower to a crawling-like postition and squeezed himself into the cave mouth, before curling up in a relatively dry area to sleep...

Ba'al was now very close to the river, but was now also extremely clsoe to the Spinosaurs. Growling, Ba'al heads out of the shrubbery and towards the river, hoping the Spinos are apathetic as he heads towards the river to drink....

Ready to get some sleep, Bias hauled himself out of the water. The large croc looekd around, to make certain there were no predators around large enough to kill him. Satisfied with what he saw, the Deinosuchus went to sleep, safe and sound on the beach. As he began to sleep, a small pack of Compsognathus emerged from the underbrush, searching for food...

Bane regarded the creature before him, before responding, "Yeah. Hands off, pal."
He was contemplating whether or not it was worth telling this rex about the intruders they may or may not have brought to its territory. Deciding it may be unwise for all of them to withhold the information, he growled shortly, "And watch it. We just got chased here by some... unfriendly... raptors. You have them to thank for your little encounter with Renegade there. Fair warning... he finished, glancing it the unconscious raptor as he addressed him...

"Do I look like I want to maul your friend here?" growled Crusher, suddenly realising the silliness of his question. he was a 17 foot long T.Rex standing over what was essentially a living corpse. of course he looked like he wanted to maul it. "Good luck moving him, whatever the case. Though I don't know how you intend to get away from pursuers with an unconscious raptor"...

Bane's brow ridged creased, as he considered the question himself.
There's no way I'd be able to carry him all the way back home, he thought, before realizing he didn't even know where home was. There was no question about it, they were lost, for the time being. In a strange super-predator's territory, no less.
He cautiously asked, "Right you are, it would seem. Dyou know of anywhere around here that'd be a safe hiding place for two dromaeosaurs such as ourselves? Until the raptor recovers, at least?..."

"Well, there's a cave entrance, if you follow the stream. Though I don't know how Darkness would react to me bringing in 'guests' after having just avoided a horde of potential contacts earlier" growled Crusher throughtfully, mulling the idea over in his head...

"We wouldn't be any trouble," Bane growled, assuring himself as much as the Rex that stood before him. "If you could help move him though, I would be, ah... most grateful..."

A leaf from one of the trees above him drifted off the branch in the wind, landing gently on the nose of Razorjaw, who slept soundly in the comfort of the soft grass....

Gustav crawled out of the warm sea water and slowly edged himself to a nice place to sleep the night away...

Sand Claw caught the scent of multiple raptors heading in the direction of the rex. The ceratosaur had no intention of fighting or even investigating this probably dangerous pack...

A gray mist crawled across the leaf litter, the foggy expanse reaching upwards, writhing and dispersing, falling back into the dull coat. Low lying shrubs and plants were lost to it in the dark. The green and black raptor found himself simply standing in the middle of a clearing, the fog passing over the talons on his feet. The moon was over him but offered no light. It was a dark circle against darker skies. The stars that he was used to were absent. The trees he called his haven were nowhere to be seen. A strange cold had gripped the land...a bracing feeling unlike the chilliest, stormy night on Sorna. Aircrest wanted to move; move and find a place to spend this cold and dark night. A place where he could rest his tired body and be safe. He didn't like being in the open like this. He wanted to leave, but couldn't. His legs seemed to be bound to the ground, as if he had wandered into a realm where the ground was covered in sap, hidden by the mist. A glue trap that robbed him of all his speed and agility. A dark shape approached him through the mist, unhindered in any way. The raptor's eyes widened. "Move. Move. Now. Legs. Flee" The thoughts raced through his mind as the entity made its way towards him, the fog billowing as it parted around the creature's legs, spreading before coming back together in its wake. The raptor's legs began to tremble because of his urge to run, but his efforts to leave were to no avail. A rasping laugh reached Aircrest's ears as he realized what he was looking at. The slain raptor, its neck hanging awkwardly to one side, obviously broken stopped just in front of Aircrest. The slash mark on its neck was in plain view and one glazed over eye with a blank gaze seemed to peer past the raptor. A wicked smirk appeared upon its face. The green and black raptor couldn't help but stare as the other saurian spoke, its voice that of the rusty red elder. "What becomes of you when you cannot run from your fears, runt? You were death's prize as soon as you left your egg...and soon you will be reclaimed" It said, slowly breaking out into a chilling laugh from a snicker and chuckle.

The raptor stirred on his branch, his eyelids flickering. In his slumber, he had become a prisoner of his own mind.

Darkness was resting comfortably not far from the stream, having moved upriver to a shallow portion of the waterway, the dense jungle and shallow water not making it a favorite spot amongst the larger predators, and gave the dark raptor a sense of security. He would return to the cave and to Crusher in the morning, but for now, he was enjoying the peace...

As Bias slept, the compy pack began to move toward him, their heads glancing all around for any signs of danger. They had been drawn here by the smell of blood, namely, that of the dead Ornithocheirus, and they would not by disappointed. Hanging from the croc's slightly open mouth were numerous strands and bits of flesh that were stuck between its teeth. The compies darted in, ripping out the bits of flesh from between the teeth. Here on Isla Sorna, not only were the compies scavengers, they also provided a cleaning service for crocs and certain therapods. The compies also began to pick the area clean of any insects and parasites on Bias's skin. As they fed, the compies began to grow nervous. It was already nightfall, and compies didn't feel safe in the open like this at night. soon, they would head back into the forest...

Moa and her daughter by now had reached the river that flowed out of the swamps, and were swimming downstream. This river crossed through most of the tropical northern side of the island, branching out into diffrent rivers before dumping out into the sea. It would be a long night full of travel for Moa... in any given luck, she'd reach the sea by morning... hopefully...

Crusher sighed as he eyed the Raptor for a few minutes. eventually he shifted his head under the unconscious dromeosaur, using it like a shovel to slide under the Raptor and lift it, being careful to angle it so the Raptor's body ended up being draped over either side of the Rex's back. he was not large enough to carry a creature that size in his mouth yet. let alone carry one effortlessly. he would likely struggle, and end up injuring the Raptor in the process if he attempted to use his jaws. as he began to walk towards the cave, he grabbed a hold of the Tenontosaur leg, striding carefully towards the cave, the raptor on his back teetering precariously from side to side with each step, Crusher trying his best not to let it fall off...

amidst the noises of the jungle, one place still held a deathly silence, the large Lab looming as a rust-streaked grey monument amidst the ocean of foliage that surrounded it. Few creatures knew of this place. and even fewer dared approach it. It was a relic from a time beyond the memories of most. those who knew it, feared it. those who didn't, dared not tamper with something as alien as what lay within. This structure had two permanent residents. one, a massive tree rising in the middle of the facility, slowly rising against the unnatural structure and reaching for the sunlight above. the other....a myth most refused to acknowledge as real...

After nearly half an hour of constant eating, Blade finally slumped over, exhausted, his entire torso completely round with the food he had consumed. the dark female watching over him chuckled lowly, poking her son, the young Allosaur fidgeting vainly, squeaking in complaint as he tumbled over onto his other side, unable to keep himself from rolling, earning a light giggle from the female. "Just like your father" she growled, chuckling. the young Allosaur was oblivious of the comment however, yawning widely as his eyes fluttered, heavy with exhaustion. Aurora eyed the Alpha pair for a moment, noting their own youngsters as she growled "I believe it's time I took Blade to rest. If I'm needed, Do not hesitate to ask". with that, the female rose from her resting position, plucking up the tiny youngster in her jaws, the lethal weapons suddenly taking a protective shade as she gently carried her youngster to a low dip in the earth not far away, thinly bedded with dead grass and a few relatively smooth stones, set in such a way they resembled puzzle pieces, the somewhat rough-looking nest contrasting with the smooth grass and moss nests of the others, the female setting her son down in the nest as she lay down beside him, curling her large form around the nest tightly, protecting him from all sides as her warm amethyst eyes watched the youngster fall asleep, feeling her own exhaustion slowly overtake her...

the trees swayed on the edges of the Spinosaurs' collective turf, as Thrasher finally returned after a day of exploration, his jaws and claws tinted red with blood, his mint green eyes scanning the area as his nostrils flared, checking for signs of intruders. nothing. the Spinosaur smirked as he continued into the territory, interested to hear what had occurred in his absence. at last, he could find peace. the threats posed by his father's weakening resolve had been dealt with, and now his kind held enough of a position in the minds of others that he needn't worry about his family's safety. from here on.....everything would be good. If the price was that most would see him as a cold hearted, evil creature....then so be it. At least that would act as a deterrent to threats....
