CS actually gave me that idea with his post...

CS came up with it? Well in that case good idea CS,I'd complement you some on it but it would probably be just a copy of my previous post when I thought the idea was G4E's.Still a great idea though

Okay.... so the Neo-Tokyo idea seems like it could work so far, and the idea of a nuclear Meltdown could work too. The only thing is that we need some meat to the story of why the Nuclear Meltdown occured. Here's something I thought up in about 5 minutes:

Oil began to run out, and the world needed to find new ways to fuel their vehicles and such. As an alternative, they began to use electricity, but most of what was used ran on Nuclear power. Due to high usage and poor maintenance, the Plants began to destroy themselves. Thankfully, most of them were cleaned up before anything too horrible could happen, but one of the plants completely melted down and affected a huge number of he populace. most of the people exposed to the radiation died, but some of them seemed to be unaffected by the deadly substances: in fact, it seemed to do the opposite and gave them superhuman abilities. curious as to how this would work, scientists and buisnesses alike began to test these people, dubbed "superbeings", to try and discover how they were unaffected by the radiation. However, they were not the only supers made. Many other supers came as a result of lab experiments by pharmasutical companies... and not all of these new mutations were friendly.

Sounds pretty cool to me, plus it'd be nice to actually to be there at the start of a new RP!

Nice idea, G4E... We'll do that if my idea doesn't get off the ground... However, we could blend both the state of Neo-Tokyo and this accident together... but first....

CS, MANY of my characters were able to make Dark-Matter spheres... This isn't a Dark Matter sphere I have in mind, but something else, a sorta accident that turned the ground of Neo-Tokyo into a spawning pool for mutants... And what happened, was aready mentioned by G4E before... an experiment gone terrbly wrong..

That aside, you don't need a nuclear accident to have mutants... mutations occur all the time, and though the chances of such mutations are very tiny, there ARE 7 billion people on the earth... more than enough for there to be plenty of mutants running around...

Also, though this be set in 2019, the fashion and culture is more or less what it is today in the United States. If the last one was set in 2099 with no diffrence of culture than it is today, then what's wrong with my idea?

And yes, in this reboot, Superpowered being have always existed through history...

I personally enjoy both ideas. It already has my vote. It all depends on what everyone else thinks.

That said, I was thinknig of bringing back a few of my old SHRPG characters. In the last SHRPG, I did a pretty cruddy job at characterizing them and doing good plots. However, this time I'll be putting them in a new direction, while giving them the attention to detail and character development they need...

This is brilliant,I'd love the see this come together and become a full rpg.The ideas for the plot seem to be coming together nicely and I'm sure with a little more refinement and a few more ideas to fill in the gaps this rpg will work smoothly

I would like to say NO in the loudest possible volume.

Remember the incident with Gaara? Yeah, I do. It was pretty stupid.

But I agree that the stuff with that Mara character or whatever wasn't bad.

Would that be a 'NO, YOU IDIOT! YOU RUINED IT!", or, "NO! You are NOT allowed to do that!" :P

Oh, you mean Minene? Alright then....

And just to make you happy TT, I won't be bringing back Meta-Ridley... JUST to make you happy...

Guys- especially you, gira-, we really should be trying to think of ways to set up this RPG instead of random side conversation.

And i'd assume it'd be a "You ruiend it".

Perhaps it could be set in a city like NYC or Los Angeles where strange people are the norm. XP

Any big city would do, since they all have large populations.

New York City... Spiderman... dammit I'm going off topic. Anyways, I'd like to have the SHRPG revived, considering I never participated in it in the first place. Would be fun to have a super-hero/villian/neuteral guy flying around the city, saving lives/attempting to destroy the world/being neuteral. =D

In all fairness, the only reason SHRPG got scrapped was because no one was posting in it. It would lay dead for weeks along with the others. So ya, don't pitch for the reboot if you're gonna drop out of it after a few pages

I'd gladly pitch in. SHRPG was a lot of fun. :3

I've actually got some ideas, instead of "walk around, beat up random threats" this time around. It's got my vote (as I said before [which is ironic, because superheroes aren't exactly my cup of tea]).
