Pipsqueak screamed as he flailed wildly, trying to get the Allosaurs off of him...

Ulysses looked at the Ceratosaurus in his swamp, turning his big feathered body from the tree he was currently eating. There was a pack of... Stokesosaurs. Ulysses had dealt with these guys before, and it wasn't fun. He bellowed at the carnivores, as if to warn them that if they came close, they would meet a swift and unexpected death. The Therizinosaur snorted as he turned back to the tree, plucking it bare, leaf by leaf...

This area of the swamp was full of tiny ponds, and little to no trees. All of the carnivores found themselves in a blanket of fog. The ground seemed to disappear from under their feet. It was if they were running on the clouds. The fog also gave a mysterious feeling to Thorn Jaw, along with the Stokesosaurs, like something else was hungry for their flesh...

In the distance, Thorn Jaw could see a herd of Kentrosaurs, grazing on the reeds of a lake. However, the Ceratosaurus could feel himself sinking a little...

He was in mud.

Thorn Jaw felt his clawed feet sink into the clouded earth, growling Thorn Jaw rushed off eluding the Stokesosaurs even further. Making his way through the forested swamp the Ceratosaur did feel a strange presence among the reeds of the swamp. Becoming cautious Thorn Jaw grows rigged the flow of blood still seeping from the severed tip of his tail. Continuing onward Thorn Jaw notices prey sources, Kentrosaurs came to mind when he scented the air. Continuing through the dense air the spotted Ceratosaur looks for an escape route, the presence of something foul and dangerous still lingering in the air. Suddenly, Thorn Jaw saw it, the bright hue of sun light piercing through the fog. Growling with relief Thorn Jaw makes his way up a small hill leading out of the swamp and into the surrounding forest. Turning, Thorn Jaw looks into the swamp he has escaped grinning, hearing the sounds of the Stokesosaurs efforts as they search for him. Turning again to leave Thorn Jaw rushes off into the forest away from his would be attackers...

Unfortunately for Thorn Jaw, another predator had him on its scent. A Deinosuchus glared at the Kentrosaurs, its eyes then shifting to the Ceratosaur. The crocodile's chance to get a less dangerous meal would come true, if Thorn Jaw was thirsty. Submerging into the lake, the Deinosuchus hid from the surface, awaiting its food to come along...

The Stokesosaurs had lost their food; however, if they could take down a Kentrosaurus, they would be fed for days, weeks even. The pack eyed at a certain Kentrosaur; one that had a wounded leg. It looked like an Allo bite, and it probably was, seeing how the spikes of its tail had a brown, crusted substance on them, which was probably dried Allosaur blood. A few light grey clouds hovered over the swamp, creating a light shower of rain. The wounded Kentrosaur was also a fair distance from its herd, and this would make an excellent meal...

Thorn Jaw continued on through the forest, his eyes scoping out every corner his cautious nature returning to him. Walking under the branches of a giant tree Thorn Jaw snarls in annoyance, the one things the Stokesosaurs did succeed in doing was getting the Ceratosaur lost. Passing a basking lizard Thorn Jaw hisses at it as he reflects on the day's events.

Knowing that he could not return to his original territory Thorn Jaw continued on deeper into the forest his wounds still fresh. Brushing close to a low lying bush, Thorn Jaws hearing is assailed by something. Kneeling down into a crouch Thorn Jaw looks through the foliage, his eyes lighting up with predatory vigor. Below him down a small slope opening up into a small clearing surrounded by brush were two fighting male Protoceratops. Slinking down the slope carefully Thorn Jaw prepares himself for an ambush. He had burned precious energy in the fight with the Stokesosaurs and needed to replenish it if he plans on trekking further into Isla Sorna's interior...

Shade dragged the Ouranosaur towards the swamp, planning to take over the area for herself for a bit. The corpse looked mutilated by now, and had a nibbles out of it, obviously from compies and small pterosaurs. Thorn Jaw could smell the scent of dead herbivore, along with Shade herself. The Protoceratops ran off from the pungent odor, knowing that a large carnivore was coming...

Mars snarled, dashing at the Kentrosaurus at full speed, along with his pack...

Soon Thorn Jaw's olfactory systems are hammered by the scent of a massive predator! Standing abruptly the Ceratosaur follows the Protoceratops and rushes off not wanting to get involved in a fight that would most certainly end with his death. Climbing up a steep incline Thorn Jaw continues deeper into the interior wishing he could get a break in this chaotic world he has grown up in. He recalls his childhood and how safe it had been, even as hatchling Thorn Jaw was safe as he thinks back to his family the memory of the usurper fills his mind. Shivering involuntarily Thorn Jaw isn't cold the monster who destroyed his family caused him to be even more cautious than he previously was.

Continuing on through the forest stepping over the odd log Thorn Jaw has distanced himself from the super predator in no time at all not even catching the scent of the monstrous carnivore. Stopping mid stride Thorn Jaw realizes why his family survived without incident, they were a family a group! Thorn Jaw now knew how he would stake a claim on this island: He would find a mate, and finally be able to call something his home...

Shade noticed Thorn Jaw, seeing that the Ceratosaur had been heavily wounded. The Carcha called to this wounded hunter, trying to beckon him over.

"Ceratosaur! You look really bad, would you like to take my kill? I can always just kill one of the swamp's herbivores." Shade grunted, letting go of the Ouranosaurus's corpse...

Thorn Jaw was confused by the Carchar's offer. "Why would you help me?" Thorn Jaw asks his face revealing that he was not expecting this. Taking a tentative step towards the kill, his mouth dripping with drool as his hunger rises with each passing moment. Another step, and then another Thorn Jaw eases his way over to the large and dangerous predator hoping that he can trust her. He could not believe what he was doing heavily wounded as he was he most certainly could outrun her if it came to escaping. Finally within reach Thorn Jaw tentatively takes his first bite of the Ourano's tough flesh, the blood dripping down his throat causing him to feel a warmness in his stomach all the while his eyes never leaving the Carchardontosaurus...

"Well, if you saw yourself at the moment, you wouldn't need an answer. And not to forget you looked like you needed something to eat, and I just happened to be getting tired from dragging this stupid thing." Shade replied as she yawned a bit. "Besides, you're just as bloody as the Ouranosaurus you're eating." she added. Her obsidian-like scales glistened from the flecks of sunlight peeking through the treetops of the forest as she lied down.

"Let me guess; you got in a fight with another predator?"

"So what are the odds that I would run into you with that trike...again?" the green and black raptor rumbled lowly from above the juvenile Tyrannosaur as he walked along the winding path of branches. "It isn't so fun when you're on the wrong side of those horns, is it?" Aircrest growled. He wanted to laugh like the Rex had before, to cement the bitter irony, but could not bring himself to. Not after what he had seen.

Brute walked into the plains, his clubbed tail swinging slowly behind him. He noticed a slight trail of blood, and a herd of hadrosaurs that were about a half mile away. A predator must have been here, because the blood was mostly in a certain spot which had the pungent smell of death, along with some scales, teeth, and tiny flecks of skin from a sail. Must have been an Ouranosaur that got killed, he thought.

"Carnivores just can't do anything without leaving a mess, can't they?" he snorted in disgust. The Ankylosaurus walked further into the plains, planning on maybe just investigating the area...

Crunch. Crunch crunch. Crunch. The sickening crunch of bones and flesh filled the air, the noise flying out of the Stokesosaurs' jaws as they devoured the Kentrosaur carcass, ripping off hunks of muscle, each having all sorts of bone poking outwards. This wouldn't stop them from eating it, however...

Seeing the Carchar resting on the forest floor settled some of Thorn Jaw's nerves about eating the Ourano in its presence. Hearing that she knew he had been in a fight with a predator Thorn Jaw looked from feeding at her a large chunk of flesh hanging in his large jaws. "It was a pack actually, at least four Stokesosaurs. I may have been able to win but I wasn't sure, regardless I did critically wound two of them." Thorn Jaw says returning to his feast.

It was odd for the Ceratosaur to be eating Hadrosaur, it had only been special occasions when his parents would take down a large Hadrosaur, like an Edmontosaurus. Living on his own Thorn Jaw has scavenged them from smaller carnivores such as Velociraptors and Dilophosaurus but he would never feed on creature this size on a regular basis. Just as the Stegosaur had been a treat this too was a treat for him. Smiling as he dug out even more meat and organs from the dead Ouranosaur, Thorn Jaw was thankful the Carchar decided to share...

"Interesting. I think we might get along quite well, as I too have been bothered by the Stokesosaurs before. They're more annoying than the compies when they scavenge." Shade sighed. "I'm Shade. Do you have a name, Ceratosaur? I'd much rather say a name than a species." she added as she lay on her side, her head still off the ground...

"That was intentional. My friend here was trapped in that cave surrounded by Raptors that intended to kill her. I did what I had to do to get her out" responded Crusher simply as he walked. It was a shock to see what a lone Triceratops could do to a pack of Raptors, but Crusher had already explained it off as a kill or be killed scenario. If he hadn't lured the Trike in, Steeltalon would have died. And in the end, it was the Trike that killed all those Raptors, not him. He instigated it, but in effect, his claws were clean...

"I'm not judging you for it," Aircrest replied, his voice still conveying an emotional numbness. "Your reasons are more sound than mine" he finished saying. Coming to the end of the branch, he leaped over to another, landing with only a soft rustle amidst the leaves.

Mars and his pack had roamed the island quite a bit by now, trekking through several jungles and forests. They could pick up the smell of a tyrannosaur... and a raptor? What was a raptor doing around a Tyrannosaurus? It was like a death wish for a velociraptor to be screwing around when a Rex was in the area...

Brute walked towards the territory of Thrasher, unaware of the fact that a Spinosaurus had been here...

"Greetings Shade, my name is Thorn Jaw. Thank you for the meal Shade I needed it, but be that as it may I must be off. Thank you but I must stake my own claim on this accursed Island." Thorn Jaw says walking off into the forest his spotted coloration slipping into the low lying brush as he disappears deeper into the forest...

"Of course, you can always find me either in the grassland or the swamp, Thorn Jaw. Farewell." Shade answered, putting her head down on the ground. She decided that she never really got a good nap for quite a while, her eyelids slowly closing like a Venus flytrap that had just captured an insect...

Thorn Jaw continued on his way farther away from the swamp, reflecting on what had just happened with the Carchar. She had gone out of her way to feed him...But why? Thorn Jaw kept asking himself this as he continued on through the ever thicker jungle, searching for a place to call home. Thorn Jaw kept his eyes pealed as he made his way past a suspicious stand of high grass, Thorn Jaw was well aware that it could be harboring roving packs of Velociraptors. Caution taking over Thorn Jaw spaces himself a good distance away. The large Ceratosaur knows a single Velociraptor could not hurt him, but a pack he was sure could take him down if he wasn't careful. Continuing on Thorn Jaw keeps his head on a swivel aware that he is in new territory, that is alien to his memory...

In the interior of Isla Sorna a silent hunter stalks his unsuspecting prey. Drifting through the forest like a shadow Scar Tooth prowls in between the trees his massive form hidden by his incredible camouflage. weaving his way through the foliage Scar Tooth narrows his eyes focusing on his oblivious prey. Standing in a small clearing, a Velociraptor grooms its self, unaware of the danger that is upon it. The large Carnotaur chose his steps carefully making sure his prey stayed ignorant of his presence. His three-ton bulk completely hidden in the dense foliage, save for his yellowish eyes Scar Tooth was near invisible. Taking another quite step the Carnotaur prepares to strike his speed and power primed to end the life of the smaller carnivore before him...

Paradox snarled, in search for food. He could hear a Carnotaurus, but he wasn't sure if his hunger was overwhelming him. It had been almost a week since he had eaten, and it was merely a Styracosaurus calf that had wandered away from its mother. The Abelisaurus snorted, walking towards the sounds of the Carnotaurus...
