The Spawn crawled through the vents, the clanging of its footsteps filling the metal tunnels it was inside of. It peered out of an opening, eyeing down at a human walking through the halls. It had appeared to have killed its kin, as it had the blood of a Spawn on its hands. The Spawn dropped the corpse through the vent, which fell in front of Charles, undoubtedly startling him. Charles looked up, only to see a larger alien snarl at him. He backed away, holding the steak knife in his hand, ready to defend himself.

"This one is larger... it must be fully grown..." Charles thought aloud as he walked back slowly. The adult creature leaped from the vent, landing on the corpse that it had dropped as it opened its mandibles and hissed. Charles quickly tossed the knife at the alien, hitting the area above its eye with the handle. The Spawn snarled as it dashed after the human, hissing and screeching. Charles ran down the hall until he found the armory, picking up an automatic pistol when he entered. The alien ran into the room with him, only to be greeted with a bullet to the forehead, splattering the distinctive green blood onto the floors and doorway...

The Geth soldiers had surrounded Ecliptor by this point, rendering his hostage useless. The Geth behind Ecliptor simply shot at his back, the restrained Geth's weight preventing the Seeker from turning quickly...

Arrak's Disruptor rounds stunned the final Hopper, causing it to fall from the ceiling, its head crushed by the Turian's clawed foot. He turned down the hall, hearing the sounds of gunfire. "I'll handle the shield," he said. "More familiar with the controls, probably. Go hit those Geth from behind, give the Marines a fighting chance..."

The Seeker pivoted on the restrained unit, holding himself vertical from it, the shots streaking past where he once was seconds before and taking out the guard. Disabling his augmentation, Ecliptor fired another kinetic pulse from his palms as he angled himself at his attacker, arcing through the air and drop kicking the Geth. The point blank force of the energy ripped apart the stricken unit...

Khuurava nodded as he moved, disliking human programming generally. "Meet me at the Scorpio as soon as you're done. I'll clear out the Geth and meet you there" he said as he ran down to the path leading to the Marines...and their Geth opponents...

The butt of one Geth Trooper's rifle slammed into the side of Ecliptor's head while he was distracted kicking its comrade, knocking the Seeker away...

Arrak moved over to the console, tapping at commands when Khuurava moved away. The Geth, primarily Troopers and Rocket Troopers, were bombarding the beleaguered Marines. Or, specifically, the ONE Marine. The woman from before was apparently the only survivor, hunkered down behind a stack of crate as phasic rounds rained down around her...

a whitish green grenade streaked from Khuurava's weapon, sticking against the back of one of the Geth more tightly encircled by its comrades, the explosion sufficient to blow it apart and send shrapnel in various directions...

Ecliptor flipped over with the blow, landing on his feet, the arm blade on his right arm popping into position. Without delay, Ecliptor jumped back at the Geth, a swing of the blade beheading it, his clawed feet slamming into its chest knocking it onto the ground. From there, the Seeker broke into another wild sprint...

The Geth tracked their target, but didn't fire, waiting for Ecliptor to change maneuvers. If he tried moving towards them again, they would be ready this time...

The Geth were caught off-guard by the explosion, the sudden drop in numbers slowing them down mentally as they struggled to cope...

Ecliptor moved to the rough center of the perimeter around him where he spun on one foot, white energy crackling in his three clawed hands. Releasing the energy with the movement, the kinetic force rippled outwards like a pulse, throwing the automatons off their feet like rag dolls.

Khuurava charged in as he put away his assault rifle, drawing his blades as he leapt, flipping the blades in hand as the panels unfolded, edges swinging forward and into the heads of two more Geth as he landed between them, twisting as the bottom of one foot slammed into the metallic chest of a third, blowing it off it's feet...

As the Geth toppled, a Geth dropship moved in overhead, firing much larger energy bolts down at the outpost, aiming for Ecliptor while the other Geth were knocked out of its field of fire...

At that point the remaining Geth recovered, one of the Geth Troopers swinging his rifle at Khuurava's head...

Ecliptor ran along the line of downed soldiers, dodging the shots with agility and precise response, passive calculations allowing him to plot the trajectory of each shot and move out of its way long before impact. While some were struck by evaded bolts, Ecliptor skidded a stop, slammed his hands into the ground and unleashed a powerful shockwave, the force of which ripping the units asunder.

Khuurava responded by headbutting the weapon, the tough, bony skull making an audible cracking sound as bone and alloy clashed, before Khuurava lifted a foot slamming it into the Geth and pinning it to a wall, before severing the arms with his blades, subsequently driving both blades into the machine's one-eyed head, a ferocious snarl coming from the Khurakra as he stepped back, letting the synthetic corpse drop to the floor limply...

While Khuurava was distracted, the two remaining Geth Troopers shot the mercenary from behind, taking advantage of his diverted attention...

Even as Ecliptor tore apart the infantry, the dropship simply dropped off more, including a single Geth Prime, the mobile platforms hitting the ground with powerful thuds and extending from their crouched positions, opening fire on the synthetics without hesitation...

At that moment, Ecliptor directed his power into the ground right under him, blasting into the air and front flipping onto a scaffold on the jamming tower. He could see very little salvageable technology here aside from the guns of the Geth units, but his high powered rifle was more than a match for such weapons with his synthetic processing. From his vantage point he could see another base off in the distance however. This one seemed to be a complex of sorts, meaning possibly a stockpile of equipment. With another kinetic pulse, Ecliptor was on his way, blowing apart the platform he stood on in the process.

Khuurava snarled as his shield flickered, absorbing some of the firepower as he dove to the side, tossing one of the blades, which impaled itself in one of the Geth, as he drew his sidearm, three heavy rounds smashing into the second Geth's shield, before a fourth and final round blew its head clean off, Khuurava having slowed down for that last shot to ensure accuracy...

Once more, the Geth infantry didn't pursue, their job being to protect the jamming tower. However, the dropship did follow Ecliptor, intent on dealing with the Seeker in more extreme ways if necessary...

The last Marine gunned down the crippled Geth Trooper down as she stepped from cover, then moved up the ramp, towards Khuurava, limping slightly. "Nice... timing..." she panted...

Ecliptor slammed into the ground in a half crouch, kicking up a small dusk cloud. An instant later he was charging across the open plain towards the larger facility. He would be there in less than 10 minutes at his top speed.

"Turns out you're lucky we did arrive when we did. They were going to blow the facility to smithereens" said Khuurava as he walked over to the impaled Geth, pulling his blade free before returning it to its sheath at his side, the weapon folding shut on itself as he did so. "I suggest you contact the nearest Alliance military facility and get some support down here. There is at least one more Geth facility on the planet. A Planetary defence platform. AA guns that would blow smaller ships out of the air on approach" he added as he began walking down to the Scorpio, walking over and around the remains of various Geth, avoiding the human soldiers. On normal circumstances he'd be hunting for salvage amongst the Geth corpses, but this time he was simply too short on time to waste rummaging through the wreckage of decommissioned robots...

"Yeah, I know that place," the Marine said. "Unfortunately, that jamming tower means I won't be getting any support any time soon. Not until the Geth are gone." As she spoke, a muted hum sounded over the base, and the air seemed to ripple with energy. "Looks like your Turian friend got the shield up. Good. You two get out of here. I'll bury my soldiers and hold this place until it's safe to take out the jamming tower..."

The Geth Dropship continued its pursuit for a moment, then suddenly stopped, turned away, and headed back towards the outpost, as if called by an unknown signal...
