Fish may have had better eyesight of the two, but Nyx had better hearing. He immediately picked up the sound of a struggling animal not to far from his location, about a mile and a half away, he guessed.

"You hear that?" Nyx hissed. This caused Fish to stop and listen for a moment, and she eventually picked up on the sound.

"Yeah, why?" she replied, turning her head in a confused manor.

"I'm gonna go check it out. Go ahead and leave something under my tree, leave two in case I bring something back. If I don't, you know how much I can eat."

"Fine, go, and be back soon. We cant have some egocentric predator coming in and destroying one of the only peaceful parts on this island."

Nyx nodded to his friend, and was off. Following the roars, barks, and snarls to the best of his ability. Soon enough, he reached the animal. It wasn't a prey item stuck in the mud as he had hoped, but instead a trapped Stokesaurus. Rather than charging in and roaring, or acting like some sort of mindless killing machine, he simply watched the creature from the trees. Despite his white skin, he was able to hide his form with ease. Eventually, he did make himself known. "Oi, you, in the mud, need some help?" he asked. If it began roaring and screeching at him, he would leave, he didn't need to help it, but there was no harm in asking.

Meanwhile...

"Alright, you just gotta watch the water, and slash your claws in when you see something move." Fish said. She had been fishing when a young Baryonyx came across her, and needed to learn to fish. 'The poor thing must've bee separated from it's family group somehow.' she thought, and started teaching the spinosaur the art of fishing. Of course, it didn't get it immediately, and began to simply watch Fish do what she did best. It seemed to be getting it, but there was no way to know until it tried again.

Djinn looked to the tyrannosaur, blinking once as he ceased struggling in the deep mud. The small missing portion of his lip which exposed his gums and teeth could be seen, along with the distinctive marks from a Therizinosaur's claws.

"Well, I'm about halfway in the mud and part of my face is missing. Does that answer your question?" Djinn grunted, resting his head on the edge of the mud-filled sinkhole...

Shade could smell a Tyrannosaur, along with the Stokesosaurus that she had taunted earlier. She rolled her eyes. This was a long day...

"I wish for nothing less" snorted Fatalis, half tempted to leap onto her back and scrawl a fresh set of scars across her. But she was a poor candidate for his entertainment...

"I could help, if you like" Offered Crusher as he eyed Steeltalon, for now ignoring Paradox. His friend's situation was of more importance than a side conversation on unlikely friendships...

"Moron..." Nyx hissed to himself, hoping that the Stokesaurus before him didn't hear, not that he cared if it did, he just didn't feel like putting up with a predator a third his size screaming and roaring at him. He found it funny that the Stokesaurus had the guts to say that in his position. He needed to be back soon, Fish was getting him something back at their territory, and with her abilities, she would have twenty by now. "I didn't ask for sarcasm. I asked for your help, and in the position your in, I could kill you in a heard beat." He growled to the smaller animal. He turned to his left, and bent hit tail next to the Stokesaur's head. "Grab onto my tail if you want out." Nyx stated.

EDIT: Sorry, I read that wrong originally, I'm making edit's now to fix the accidental Metagaming.

Djinn almost instantly grabbed the Rex's tail. He was wondering why he wasn't killed on the spot by the larger carnivore...

Ulysses could see a tyrannosaur in the distance, along with a smaller dinosaur with a similar build. He was trying to decide whether to deem it an Albertosaur or another Stokesosaur as he scratched the back of his neck.

Paradox looked around. He could tell that Crusher was busy at the moment, so he would remain silent, as he didn't need to go anywhere anytime soon...

Nyx immediately pulled backward, and winced at the slight pain in his tail. He then remembered it was a Stokesaur that grabed him and Stokesaurus, like all tyrannosaurs, had very strong jaws. He pulled the smaller carnivore out with ease, nearly throwing it even. As soon as it was out, Nyx set him on the ground. At least, Nyx thought it was a him. He didn't come across Stokesaurus often, so he didn't know the different between male and female. When the Stokesaurus was on the ground again, he noticed it was still biting on his tail. "You can let go now. Or are you trying to get a free meal. If you are save yourself the trouble, I have a friend preparing food for us in my territory." He snorted. Then, lifting his large head, he smelt the air, finding various dinosaurs in the area. Even a therizinosaurus. He had hunted them before, and found they were always difficult to approach outright. Of course, he was an amazing trapper as well as a hunter, and he was able to kill one or two. He never really liked their taste though.

Meanwhile...

Fish had successfully taught the Baryonyx how to fish, and sent it on it's way soon after. The fish she had caught were massive catfish, each over six feet long. Two for herself, and two for Nyx. She didn't know if he brought anything back, and she didn't really care. It was her idea after all to catch them.

"Well, my pack left me for dead here, so that sounds nice." Djinn grunted, letting go of the Rex's tail. "And sorry if I hurt your tail or anything. My name's Djinn, thanks for saving me."

"No problem, I'm Nyx. Now come, knowing my friend, she probably has enough food to keep us fed for a few days already if she's been at it the entire time we've been gone." Nyx said humorously, and began walking off. "Follow me." As they walked, Nyx kept a close eye out incase something attacked. With Djinn's wound, the blood could attract other animals, whether it be compys, or a spinosaurus, Nyx didn't want to find out. Soon, they entered Nyx's 'territory', and he roared. The sound was ear ringing and powerful, the sound of a healthy, successful and proud carnivore. Seconds afterward, another roar was heard. Nyx smiled as best as a T.Rex could and continued on.

-Fish's POV-

Fish had heard Nyx's roar, and roared back. It was a regular thing for them. If Nyx or herself left then came back, they would roar to signify they returned safely. She grabbed the fish she caught in her mouth and claws, and walked to Nyx's tree to sit down, and began gnawing on the fishes she caught for herself.

Chomper looked up from the stream that he had come to drink from having failed his hunt, with the saltosaur being to far within it's herd and with injury out of the question he abandoned his hunt and came here toward the edge of the swamp. Now he could hear the distress call's of a small tyrannosaur and went to investigate.

However when the large giganotosaur got to the spot that the noise's were coming from he noticed tyrannosaur tracks and drag mark's but no blood. Curious Chomper decided to follow the track's and see if they could lead him to a free meal.

((If your talking about Nyx, they you have the species wrong, Nyx is a Tyrannosaurus Rex. If you're not, sorry to accidentally correct you, it's just that Nyx just rescued Djinn, a Stokesaurus which is a small tyrannosaur. So it seemed like you came across him also.))

"Ah! Back at last!" Fish said, and stood up to greet Nyx.

"Yes, and I brought a friend. This is Djinn." Nyx replied to his spinosaur friend. He stepped to the side to reveal Djinn. "I found him from the noise. He was trapped." he explained.

"Rescuing a trapped predator. Can say I haven't heard it before." Fish said, and went to look at him. She circled him once, and sniffed him, before backing off. "Well, nice to meet you comrade. Nyx asked me to get extra food in case he came across someone like you, and he was right. I hope you don't mind fish. I'm no good at catching dinosaurs, that's Nyx's job." Fish said, and walked back to the spot she was sitting in. Nyx walked up to his spot, and laid down on the edge overlooking the waiting hole.

"My pack left me when I got hit by a Therizinosaur trying to kick us out of the swamp. They must have thought I was dead. I was only knocked unconscious..." Djinn explained with a grunt. The Stokesosaurus looked somewhat starved as he devoured a fish rather quickly, swallowing the aquatic creature after sliding it into his throat. "My brother isn't the best leader in Sorna..." he added.

"So what was being in a pack like? Me and Nyx live out here together, we don't have a pack." Fish said, and took a bite from her fish. "We're not really solitary though. This territory is more of a sharing thing. Many other carnivores can come and live in the area without fear of being attacked by Nyx, of course, they still have to fear other carnivores, but it is Nyx's territory." Fish explained. Through the entire conversation, Nyx was silent, staring at the sky. He hadn't even touched his fish yet.

"How so?" Steeltalon asked, cocking her head curiously. Silver squirmed a bit to be put down, but a full stomach made it difficult to put up a convincing struggle, and she stopped after a few short moments.

"Well, it's okay. However, my brother was leading the pack. He was the patriarch, but his leading skills were terrible. He made us go after a Ceratosaur. I don't care how hungry we were. It was the dumbest move I've ever seen. I nearly broke my jaw!" Djinn snorted, as if he were disgusted by the thought, picking up another fish...

"Sounds like someone who shouldn't be in power." Nyx said, finally saying something. He noticed Djinn grabbing his fish, and let him. He could go find himself something if he wanted to, and the thrill of hunting was always more fun that having someone do it for you. At least, it Nyx's opinion. He stood up, and began walking down his hill, making his way to the tree line.

"There goes Nyx again, off to get himself something." Fish said, smiling that she would eventually get her way in the argument. "Lets hope he brings back something big." she growled in satisfaction at the thought of Nyx bringing back an Edmontosaurus or Anatotitan. Despite loving to eat fish, she also loved meat, real meat. In the mean time, she took another bite of her fish. "How did your brother come into power anyway?"

"Our father was a wonderful and powerful leader: in fact, we almost never failed a hunt. However, the worst mistake he ever made was making my brother the leader before he died. He didn't select me because he didn't see me as the most powerful..." Djinn grunted...

"I'm sorry to hear that." Fish said, and pushed the inedible part of her fish to the side. "You know, you shouldn't have to be the most powerful to be a leader, in my humble opinion. Sadly, thats usually not the case, and your story is evidence." she said, and sighed.

Meanwhile, with Nyx...

'Closer...Closer...C'mon! Get your fat behind over here!' Nyx thought to himself. He was trying to lure a Corythosaurus over to him, but sadly, that wasn't working out for him, as this one seemed to be to stupid to notice the rustling about twenty feet to his left, which was him using his tail to move foliage around to trigger the animals curiosity. It usually worked with hadrosaurs, but this one was the black sheep. Giving up, and getting hungry, Nyx decided to bluntly charge the animal and kill it before it's herd could reach it and protect it. Getting out of his ambush position, and moving into a half crouch, he circled around the creature so that he was facing it. A mistake on his part, as when he did it, the corythosaurus noticed him because of his white skin. Nyx realized this, and burst out of the foliage cover in a full sprint, charging the animal the he intended to eat. The Corythosaurus, even when it noticed him, had no chance to escape. In seconds, Nyx's jaws were around it's neck, and with a quick twist on Nyx's part, broke it, severing the spinal cord and ending the Corythosaurus' life.

"If my father saw how the pack was leaded now, he would surely give the leadership to me. After all, I wasn't an illiterate brute like he was. He would just chase after spiders like a brainless fool while I was learning how to hunt real things, like young compies or wandering hatchlings." Djinn sighed, blinking once. He tried to hide the injured part of his face from the Spinosaur, embarrassed by the fact that he had snapped at an herbivore like his brother would have done...

Fish saw the wound, or rather smelt it. "What happened?" She asked simply. She knew most predators had a very large ego, meaning they have a lot of pride, and when injured, it hurt their pride, and when it hurt their pride, they hid it to not show weakness. However, hiding a wound could lead to an infection, and and infection could lead to death. All these thoughts whizzed through her head at once. If Nyx were there at the moment he would've asked why she was actually thinking. "Don't be afraid to tell me, I won't judge." She said, hoping to make it easier for him to tell her.

Meanwhile...

Nyx bit down on his new kill, and ripped a mouthful of meat off it. Quickly devouring it. He bent down to take another bite but was interrupted by a roar. Lifting his head he looking in the roars general direction to see a Giganotosaurus that was only smaller by a few feet. It roared again, and charged, in which case Nyx sidestepped, and grabbed the Giga's neck, and forced it downward. Because the Giganotosaurus was already off balance from hitting nothing but air after it's charge, the downward force exerted by Nyx was enough to floor the creature. Nyx released it, and replaced his jaw lock with a foot, holding it down. Then Nyx put more force down, and crushed the Giga's neck. Nyx looked down at the Giganotosaurus for a moment, and grabbed the Corythosaurus in his jaws, and began trudging back to his territory.

"Um... I kind of snapped at that Therizinosaurus in the swamp. He got me right in the face. That was how I was knocked unconscious. Ripped off part of my lip..." Djinn clicked, revealing the three long gashes going down the side of his face, along with the missing portion of his lip. It was quite gruesome, and surprisingly wasn't infected yet...
