A piece of advice is, don't be so be caught up on "big" things for your character. That isn't to say you can't strive for an awesome and memorable story, but you shouldn't have your starting goal be, "become super famous across the whole RPG". Characters need substance, that's what makes them characters. Something made just to secure some title or to make some claim to fame will come across as very transparent and in so being, disregarded rather than respected.

In the case of your character, aside from the refinement that the profile needs in terms of sentence structure and grammar, a grave mistake to make is having him be the best of his kind. KP brought this up with another member before. It doesn't add to his character at all and, in fact, detracts from his story, as it exists in a vacuum. He hasn't proven himself in the realm of the RPG at large and implying greatness isn't quite nearly the same as expressing it.

I think it's worth noting that greatness doesn't make great characters, necessarily. Flaws are what make characters interesting, and real. I wish I'd learned this sooner.

DM and LCM, if you guys are waking Zazikel up, I'd love to get in on it somehow. I've been wanting to rejoin FRPG, so it'd be a great segue for my characters as well.

Killed my first Jhen Mohran a few minutes ago. Amusingly, it was either cha-cha or Kayamba who dealt the killing blow.

those things are awesome. Once you get hang of the fighting style, it becomes an absolute blast to pick them apart strategically. Target head first, then tail, then start trying to tire it out and then wait for it to fall over, then target its hump. Then when everything is broken, just go ballistic.

Planning to take on Brachydios for the first time soon. What armor do you recommend for fighting him the first time, KP?

If memory serves, slime bypasses elemental strengths, so I'd say just go for the strongest armour you can find. If you're particularly concerned, try to build towards fire resistance. You'd have to ask Gira about whether Brachy's slime counts as fire element damage, but unless it comes at the cost of raw defence, I can't see you going wrong there. As for actual skills, depends on your weapon class of your choice. The only advice I can give that is absolutely vital to your success against him would be that you should practice your dodging. Learn to put away your weapon whenever you're not attacking something with it, and learn to use the running dive. The invulnerability period it gives you can be a lifesaver against especially relentless monsters.

Took on my first Brachydios with full high rank Rhenoplos armor and the first form of the Plesioth hammer. Cleared the quest with 25 minutes left on the clock and didn't get knocked out once, but could have been three hit ko'd when he was enraged. I'm thinking that I might go with Jhen Mohran armor or high ranking armor from Diablos or Uragaan for future Brachy fights until G-rank.

Brachy attacks don't count as fire. They're just raw attacks, so elemental resistance won't work. You simply need real good defense to not get your face crushed in.

If you want my idea on good HR armor, farm Brachy. I used his HR armor all the way to Dire Miralis in G-rank, and I was not disappointed. However, it's preferred that you go with Goldbeard Ceadeus armor once you enter G-rank itself. It's easy to make, and a little broken for something you can use at the start of G-rank. Sharpness+1 and HG Earplugs are really good combo, plus whatever you want to gem in.

Nice choice with the Plesioth Hammer. Brachy's weak to water element weapons. And yes, as a use of Golden Caedeus armour, I can vouch for it being an amazing set. I've practically finished G-Rank and have found nothing else that is as good for my needs. Even Alatreon armour, for all its perks, isn't as good as far as I'm concerned.

Back from seeing The Battle Of The Five armies. I found it to be a great ending to the middle earth movie saga.

Saw it as well. My only issue is that the beginning of this movie should've been in the last movie.

I just thought of something wouldn't it be neat if some one made a wiki for the Lore of Leyuna. I dunno why I thought of it but I think it'd be pretty dope! :P

Double post to be handled by whoever is around to handle it.

One existed way back when. It's since been defunct and abandoned.

There is a possibility of another being made though so stay tuned~
