James grinned. "Leave that bit to me, Adeline. I know exactly how to make him agree". James walked over to his old Dagger, which was on his desk. he picked it up. a Silver Blade with J.S engraved into the blade, in gold. he put it in it's sheath, and lay it down on the table, waiting to see if Adeline had anything to say...

"What do you mean?" She silently watched as James went over to get his dagger. Her eyes widened as he lay it on the table. "Wait...you said that you wouldn't harm Eric. What are you intending to do then?"

James chuckled. "Dont worry, the dagger has nothing to do with it. needs polishing though. it's tarnishing. as for Eric, i intend to show him exactly what sailing is worth. if the child can learn to sail, he has the doors of the world open to him" he said reassuringly...

Adeline sighed in relief. "Good." She was still a little worried about Eric. "James, have you seen Eric? I haven't seen him all day."

James frowned, thinking. finally, he said "I bumped into him earlier today when everyone was asleep. i was sorting a few things out below deck, and i saw Eric open the cabin's door. he was holding his head. when i asked him what was wrong, he said his head hurt him. he said he was going back to bed. if he has what i had a couple of days ago, he wont be up again until tonight"...

Meanwhile...

"Up is down....that's just maddeningly unhelpful" said Jack quietly. "Why're these things never clear?" he continued. "Clear as a map, Jacky!" said a voice in his head. "What? 'ey?" Said Jack, confused. he looked onto his left shoulder to see a very small version of himself. "Stab the heart" said the Jack miniature. "no DONT stab the heart" said another, standing on his right shoulder. "Come again?". said Jack to the mini-Jack on his right shoulder. "The Dutchman must always have a captain" said the one on his right shoulder. "Well that's even more than less than unhelpful" said Jack. "To sail the sea for eternity" said the Jack on his left, now hanging from one of his dreadlocks. "I like the sea" responded Jack. "what about Port?" said the Jack on his dreadlock. Jack said "I preffer rum. rum's good" said Jack. "Making port..." started the voice on his left, and the one on his right, which had just managed to dig his way out of Jack's numberous dreadlocks, continued "where we can get rum, and salty wenches...once every ten years". "what'd 'e say?" said the Jack on his left, hanging off a dreadlock. "Once every ten years" said Jack. "Ten years is a long time, mate" said the Jack on his left. "Even longer given the abcense of rum" said Jack. "But eternity is longer still" said the Jack on his left. the one on the right said "And how will you be spending it? dead?...or not?". the one on the left said "The IMMORTAL Captain Jack Sparrow". Jack said "OO, i like that!". the one on his right said "Come sunset it wont matter". Jack froze in thought for a moment...."Not sunset....sun DOWN...and rise!". he stood up, yelling "what's that?!". as he ran to the starboard side of the ship......

"Ah, ok then. I just hope he stays there. So far, it's looking good." She finished the last of her chocolate milk. "Mm, this is very good, by the way. We have to get more sometime." Suddenly, there was a shout from outside by one of the crew. "What's going on out there?"

James put down his mug, and put his dagger with it's sheath on his belt, and walked out. he saw the Pearl had gone ahead of them, and Jack along with several crew members were running back and forth. they were rocking the ship. "Up is down...the masts down...the hull up...the sky up, the sea down...if the sky is down, and the sea is up, up is down!" excaimed James, knowing it sounded like complete gibberish, but not really caring. he began to copy the actions on the pearl. "Men! if you want to get back to the real world, do what i do! let the cargo loose, let it drift!". James started to run back and forth from the starboard to port sides, the crew quickly copying. Yuke obviously got the message, as the Dauntless had started to rock as well. the cannons had disappeared from the ports, meaning the cargo on their ship had been loosened up as well. soon, the Pearl flipped. James was busy running from one side to another on the ship, hanging to the railings when the ship came close to flipping, Adeline by his side...

Adeline just stared at James when he spoke and laughed. She didn't really understand what he just said. She just started to follow along, running back and forth with James, trying to help make the boat flip over. "Hey, this is pretty fun," she thought as she held on to one side of the ship when it came close to flipping, then ran back to the other side...

Meanwhile, back in Eric's cabin, everything was swaying back and forth. Eric grumbled and tried to get back to sleep, but it started to sway further. He was soon going back and forth and his headache was getting worse! This movement was not helping him!

"'ANG ON!" yelled James as the ship started to flip sharply. he held onto the railings for dear life, Adeline by his side. one of the crew members didn't make it, and was crushed by some loose barrels. James closed his eyes, cringing, as the crew member was crushed under the weight of the cargo. the ship finally flipped, and James was hanging upside down. the odd thing was, the water was fresh he could open his eyes without trouble. he could see the Dauntless was nearlyupside down. it rocked once more, it's massive form flipping. a shockwave went through the water, and James noticed a green glow in the direction of the sun. the water started to shift above him. it was moving towards him. the water passed him, behind it, water, as the Dragon exploded over the waves, the Pearl doing the same nearby, and then...the stunning sight as the ENORMOUS hull of the Dauntless emerged from below the waves. ames had landed on his feet, as had Raphael. James looked around and spotted Adeline, barely standing. Smith was on the ground, as were most of the crew members. "We're back!" exclaimed James cheerily. they had finally returned from World's End. the first in memorable history...

Everyone was wet once they returned. Adeline tried to stand, but had to hold on to the railing. She looked out at the ocean and saw the sun rising. "Sunrise," she exclaimed. "We made it back!" She grinned and hugged James.

A certain someone was pretty banged up in his cabin and was shouting and cursing like a sailor. His head was pounding in pain. He stood up, but wobbled around and ended up falling back on the bed. "What the hell just went on?! Damnit! Son of a..." He went on cursing and decided to try to find his way up on deck to see what the hell was going on. He didn't care that his head was pounding. He was very angry....

James grinned, holding Adeline for a moment. he looked over to the Pearl to see everyone pointing guns at eachother. "what...on earth?" he started as he pulled out his pistol and pointed it at Barbossa, just in case he intended to shoot his father...

"Hm?" She looked over at the Pearl to see everyone holding pistols in their hands. Adeline went to pull out her pistol...but sighed when she remembered that she was wearing a dress, and didn't have her pistol anymore. "What's going-" Footsteps and grumbling cut her off. Adeline went as stiff as a board at the sound of a familiar voice. She was still holding on to James...and Eric was glaring in her direction. He didn't look too happy. "I thought he was suppose to be...ah damn! The rocking."

Eric was not happy at the sight. Adeline was holding on to James while James had his gun pointed at Barbossa. What was his wife doing holding on to that boy? He clenched his fists. "Adeline," he growled.

The group on the Pearl dissipated, lowering their weapons. James thought "wait a minute". he then pointed his pistol down at the water. he pulled the trigger, to find it didn't work. "Wet powder" he grunted. he then overheard Eric. he turned around, and saw the soaking wet man. "So the flip reached you to, ey mate? new for ya...we're back off the edge". the Pearl began to change course as James said that, and Raphael tapped him on the shoulder, informing him of it. James said "Well what are you waiting for?! follow 'em! full sail! get to work and re-attach the cargo and cannons men!"...

Adeline let go of James and glanced down at the ground. She looked like a child who was guilty of stealing an apple. Eric grunted, said nothing, and disappeared below deck. He really needed to rest. "Adeline...what was she doing holding on to him," he thought as he disappeared into his room again, slamming the door.

Adeline winced at his grumbling and his stomp back to the cabin. The smile that was once on her face was now replaced with a frown. She looked at James, not knowing whether she should follow her husband or stay up here with James. She felt that Eric was mad at her, and didn't want to face his anger, but Eric would be expecting her to follow him.

James looked at Adeline. "Leave him for now, Adeline. he'll probably want rest. disturbing him now will only cause more trouble". he could guess what was going in Eric's head at the time. however, he had gathered from the way he acted that doing anything right now would be a mistake. James walked up to the wheel and directed the ship. he looked through his spyglass to the Pearl. if it wasn't for Eric's ruining the mood, James would've collapsed Laughing. "Adeline, have a look at this". on the Pearl, Barbossa was looking through his Spyglass, and his father had one longer than a man that was drooping...

Adeline nodded and said nothing, but followed James up to the wheel. She raised an eyebrow and looked through the spyglass. The scene she saw caused her to laugh. She shook her head and handed it back to James. "Jack is still trying to be better than Barbossa. Oh your father James..."

James sighed. "He'll never give up" said James, realizing it was impossible for his father to give up. they were nearing an island...and what he saw on the shore frightened him. he lowered his Spyglass, stunned at the sight in front of him...

Adeline frowned slightly. "James? What is..." She looked ahead at the shore...and gasped. "Oh...my...god."

James just stood there and watched. "how....di.did they...kill it..." stuttered James, in complete and utter shock...

Adeline put a hand on James' shoulder, still staring in the same direction with shock and sorrow written on her face. "I don't...oh god," she said again, not knowing what to say. "Why did...?"
