Stimeak padded his way out of the cave and then curled up on a ledge over it. He looked out into the moutains beyond, wondering who was out there. He thought about his old freinds, how their lives were progressing....
Bored, he curved a claw around the silver gem that hung lousely around his neck. It was one of the rarest things in the whole world. One of the Alariel Gems. When his father, Dramcus, died, nobody knew what had happened. But Stimeak felt drawn to a small mountain pass, when he arrived. he found his hated fathers corpse, and lying on top of it, was This gem. He picked it up and it seemed to talk to him. It told him to keep it safe, to weild its power. As it was his, and his alone. He hadn't been sure what it was, but that day he learnt of Drionachs decision to banish him. He would have to leave his familiy, his freinds, his title as a warrior and worst of all his lover. He had wandered for a time, before arriveing at the Frozen Spire and settleing. He speant his life their observing the entire world. Learning everything he could from everything. He would practice his magic. He would then use his vast knowledge to fight off other dragons who wandered into the mountains reaches. In that time he became one of the most powerful beings alive. Then Neltharion showed up. The young black dragon had huge potential. However, even know Stimeak had doubts on his heart. If he proved himself to be completely pure, he would teach him REAL magic, REAL power. Until then, he would stick to the basics.
Drionachs memories of that day continued.........
[Flashback]
They had flown all over the valley exploring and hunting. On their way back they found the other two dragons (who were completely lost) and they split up and headed home.
Drionach was angry. He had assumed Stimeak was going to get in the way, that he was going to have to drag him everywhere, have to come up with explainations why he was with him. But this was much worse. Stimeak revealed his ture self. A chrismatic young dragon just like himself. When they arrived home, His father was angry at them for being so late. He was raging. Drionach just decided to remain quite and follow his Fathers punishment. However Stimeak talked back. He was shocked. His father was looking after this young dragon, and it had the cheek to talk back. Stimeak had been licking his claw when he growled "You never told us WHEN we had to be back." Shocked Dramacus hissed "What did you say to me, Stimeak?" Stimeak looked up at him and roared "I will sumerize it for you. We came home at any time we wanted because YOU never told us WHEN exactly to be back. Happy?" Dramacus narrowed his eyes and hissed "Don't you ever talk back to me. Stimeak." Stimeak took a steb back and then laughed growling "Sure thing...... Father.." Drionach's eyes went wide. Had he just insulted him! But Dramacus's face wasnt a look of shock or pain. Infact, it was a look of sadness. Stimeak glared at him then he trotted around him deeper into the cave. Drionach was about to ask his father what had happened when Dramacus growled "Drionach, I was going to tell you. Stimeak isnt a full orphan, he is my son, and your.... half-brother. His mother died a long long time ago. Please dont tell your mother about this. Now I have to talk some respect into Stimeak..." Drinoach was shocked. He padded slowly over to his spot and laid down. He could hear his father talking to Stimeak in a hushed voice. By the sound of it, he was striking a deal with him. He shook the thoughts from his head and tried to fall asleep. Amazed at what he had just found out.
