Stimeak narrowed his eyes at the red Dragon and beat into the sky rocketing towards it. He swooped down towards the ground seeing the red dragon land. Stimeak thudded into the snow not to far away from the red dragon and quickly cought Neltharion grabing him on his back. His long claws curling around the dragons spine. With a tug he pulled Neltharion backwards, his claws dragging long scratches in the ice. With Neltharion subdued he turned his attention to the red Dragon and bellowed "What do you want here, Red..." After his recent fight with the other red dragon he was suspeiciuos. ..

Inferno eyed the two dragons. the black one had acted aggressively, and if the Silver one hadn't stopped it, he would've hit it with a Fire spell. he growled "I have been sent here to find the Red Emperor, and, failing that, recover an object in his possession"...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

A short grin appeared on Stimeaks face as he realised who the red dragon was talking about. He turned to Neltharion, who was still growling agrily, and snorted "Neltharion, go fetch Bone Face" He twisted neltharion around and pushed him off towards the Crater left from the fight two days preveious. He turned back to the new red Dragon and growled "Now while my apprentice retreives your emperor, why did that dragon come here, and what is the object you seak?"

Inferno studied the look on the Dragon's face, one of inquiry and amusement. he growled "What he came here for, i do not know. I know only that he had left his cave 2 days ago muttering something under his breath that no one could pick out, and up to now, he hasn't returned. as for the item i seek, that is my conscern, not yours. I see no need to weigh you down with more information than you undoubtedly know already"...

Neltharion snarled slightly at the Red Dragon, bounding over to the crater, grabbing the skull, bringing it back to his mentor's feet. He glared at the Red Dragon, still wanting to attack it...

Inferno stared at the skull for a short while. looking carefully, he found what looked like a glowing orange rune in the mouth. it was the Flammus Maxim rune. the mark that a self destruction spell had been used. he looked at the Dragon, trying to hide a smirk as he growled "Surprised he didn't burn you. as for the item i seek, you most likely have it, as it was hanging around his neck when he was alive. I assume you know what i speak of?"...

Stimeak made a dragonish chuckle and snarled "Sounds like the fool got what was coming to him, and yes. I know exactly what you're talking about. However, why should I give it to you and not my young apprentice when he is ready..." He beemed at the Dragon waiting for its response

Neltharion grinned at the Red Dragon, snickering slightly. He layed down, suddenly bored, staring blankly away from Stimeak and the Red. Neltharion yawned, but remained awake, still wanting to attack the Red Dragon, despite their seemingly calm discussion.

Inferno grinned as he growled "Indeed. i didn't really like him myself. too focused on "pure blood". a half Imperial Red like myself isn't fit in his eyes to be considered a true Red Dragon. add to that he's always been known to have a slight problem with greed, as was probably the case here, looking at the Gem around your neck. as for why, the answer is simple. each Gem has a certain species assigned to guard it and use it's power. those who aren't of the blood cannot carry the Gems without powerful magical protection, without which they slowly get turned into victims of the Gem's power, be it by physical means or mental. as a Black Dragon, your...Apprentice would be best to take the Black Gem. taking the Red would probably be more of a curse to him then a blessing. and besides that, I am the heir to the Red Dragon Imperial Position, so, seeing as the former Emperor is dead, I am to take his place"...

Stimeak growled thoughtfully then hissed "Well said..." He glanced down at his own gem and then continued "Well I can only hand it over to you if you agree to a few things: That no grudge will be held against me or my race for the death of the late emperor and that you don't mention the gem I have around my neck. A few dragons within the silver political system wouldnt be too happy about its existence here..."

Inferno grinned for a moment, before returning to his emotionless expression. "Well, i dont see how they could find out it was you who defeated and killed him, if you even did. afterall, if you see the rune in the roof of the skull's mouth..." he growled as he flipped the skull of his former mentor, showing the rune. "...that's a sign that he used magic to destroy himself. i could simply say that i found his skull, the rune in the roof of his mouth, and the Gem beneath it. it would be attributed to a possible mental force that may have driven him insane, making him destroy himself. as for your gem, well, let's just say: you keep my secret about my...dislike for the late, not quite great Emperor Mortus, and i'll keep your secret about the Gem. deal?". as he finished speaking, a grin had begun to creep back onto his face...

Stimeak thought for a second and then hissed "Deal, come with me, Neltharion c'mon" He turned and leapt upwards onto a ledge and started padding towards the cave at the summit....

Neltharion stood, following after his mentor, occasionally glancing at the Red Dragon. He remained silent, his bloodlust starting to subside.

Inferno beat his powerful wings, lifting him off the ground effortlessly, and then flew towards the cave at the summit of the Frozen Spire. landing gently on the ground, he growled "If it weren't for the cold, this would be a very nice place to live. of course, im guessing as a Silver Dragon you're probably used to it"...

Stimeak padded over to the entrance shakeing the snow of his back. he glanced back and growled amused " Cold? This is beautiful weather. Then again you Red Dragons live near volcanos.... Personally I think you are all insane so close to all that heat.." He continued along to the back of the cave and taped the ice wall with a claw. He Barked " Neltharion, mind showing off your shadow Flame? Our Red Dragon freind would probably end up turning the whole mountain into a volcano.." he narrowed his eyes at the ice, seeing the faint glow from the gem inside....

Neltharion nodded, turning to the ice, dark flames erupting from his maw, quickly melting the ice. He bowed his head to Stimeak, turning back to stare at the Red Dragon, watching its every move curiously.

Stimeak smiled and patted Neltharion on the head growling "Thanks, that will do..." He raised his hand and punched into the whole Neltharion had made. His fist cracking through the ice into a hollow. Bloody red light spilled out into the cave. He reached in and took the boiling hot gem in his grasp and pulled it out. He let it drop, tangleing from the necklace wraped around his claw. He held it up infront of the red Dragon growling "The Red Gem..."

Inferno grinned. "And i suppose i'm to just watch it dangle there?" he growled jokingly. he then wrapped a clawed hand around the hot Gem, it's warmth soothing in this cold place. He brought it to his face to closer examine it. then, a bright flash as what seemed like Blue fire encircled his hand, wrapping it tight around the Gem. the Blue fireball turned yellow, and took a shape; that of a Cobra, and raised it's hooded head to look at him. it stood and spread it's hood as it opened it's jaws, looking right into Inferno's shocked and slightly fearful eyes. it hissed "You have been chosen...Your Majesty". then, the necklace seemed to be absorbed into the Gem, and began to hover, stopping at his head, still glowing with fiery light. then, as quickly as it had appeared, the flaming light vanished, and now, the Gem stood on the top of a 5 spike Silver coloured Crown, which seemed to have formed over his original 5 spike bone crown. the oval double tipped Red gem stood on the top of the center spike, wrapped in what seemed to be gold. Inferno brought his breathing back down, and looked at the Dragons. "That ever happen to you...err...?" he started, getting stuck when he remembered the Dragon hadn't given him a name...

He laughed and hissed "Its Stimeak, and yes it did. Except this bird came out and landed on my shoulder." He tapped the gem with one claw before continuing." Its all I have of my inheiritence, except this is the sort've inheiritence that is given un-willingly...."
