Isoke lifted her head once and a while to look out at the water. Since there were no disturbances in the water, she continued with her drink and savored the taste of the cool liquid. It was refreshing for all the parched zebras. Her mother especially needed the drink since she was with foal and had to produce milk. She glanced over to her mother who was taking her fill of the refreshing treat and let out what sounded like a sigh, before trotting up to join the others who were already finished drinking their fill.

Silenty moving... Blood Scar started to close in the gap... his body ready to lunge at the closest zebra. Blood Scar waited, watching the water, his jaws opening, his body ready to push him foward. It was a deadly ambush... Blood Scar then eyed one of the zebras which was getting a bit to close...It would not be long until one of those zebras were food and this massive crocodile was prepared to make his kill

The zebras were so thirsty and didn't notice the danger in the water. Isoke was busy playing with the other young zebras who were already finished with their drinking. She trotted around once of her friends, a one year old named Tamiri. She stopped, reared playfully, and nipped her friend on the shoulder before cantering away. By now, her mother was done drinking, and trotted up to watch as the young zebras played about.

Suddenly in a rapid movement, Blood Scar lunged out of the water, his jaws slamming shut on a male's zebra's throat, its massive jaws crushing its neck as Blood Scar dragged it back into the river causing the herd to panic. Blood Scar now back in its home advantage, applied the death roll, rolling in the water, tearing apart its prey. A successful hunt, Blood Scar lifted his head out of the water, swallowing chunks of meat. The massive croc applied the Death Roll multiple times, tearing up its prey more making it easier to eat. The water was now filled with blood, attracting predators...

Shrill whinnys and the sound of galloping hooves filled the ears of Isoke, Tamiri, and Isoke's mother as the herd scrambled away from the water in a panic. Isoke watched the blurs of stripes with confusion written in her eyes while her mother held sorrow and understanding of what happened. Another zebra was taken from the herd. The scent of blood filled the air, and filled the nostrils of the zebras. They panicked even more and tried their best to get away from the river. Isoke's mother rounded her daughter and her friend to follow the herd, saying, "We must go now and follow the herd." The two zebras did as the mare asked and followed the herd away from the river.

When they were safely away from the river, they turned back and watched as the crocodile in the water took its fill of the young stallion that was now a ripped carcass. Isoke lowered her head as she remembered her colt friend who got taken earlier by the cheetah. Her mother's words still rung in her head. It's life...it's life... She let out a weak nicker and backed away so that she was now standing close to the other herd members...

Blood Scar finished its meal, not much was left, it was all pretty much torn apart from the massive jaws. Bones were cracked and broken, it was a mess. The massive croc would now get to relax and not eat anything heavy... Blood Scar then swam along the river, looking for a safe, secure location it could sleep in. It had been a long tiring day.

Name: DarkClaw
Age: 10
Species: Komodo Dragon
Length (If a "Long" Creature): 3 Metres (10 Feet)
Height (If a "Tall" Creature): 3 Feet Tall
Weight: 166kg
Personality: Feels dominate most of the time, like a leader and one that doesn't take junk from other Komodo Dragons when it comes to food and pushes the younger ones aside as he comes through. Acts out on his own whenever he's angry. He uses scent and sight well. Doesn't tend to go after the younger Komodo Dragons because he feels they have a right to become as old as he is and then be able to live their own life from there. It's different when he's in a fight with another Komodo Dragon however and if so then he will try to fight the attacker off (or whoever started the fight) or if that doesn't work will fight to the death.
Description: Average Komodo Dragon, has a number of slashes and bites going from rib to tail where a bite mark sits from a battle with another Komodo Dragon. He has a very healthy lifestyle.

Tyretros awoke slowly, glancing around groggily. He stood, stretching forward, his claws digging into the dirt briefly. Tyretros walked away from the tree a short distance, scanning the area for any kind of easy prey, unable to hunt fully because of his paw. The maneless male walked back over to the tree, sitting down, continueing to scan the area for any source of food...

Blood Scar finished his sleep and begun to swim down the river, heading towards the savannah. The rivers were often filled with fish but Blood Scar was not hungry. It was time to find a permanent home, hopefully. Blood Scar put his head above the water, scanning the surface. Not interesting, just herds of animals starting to drink. Blood Scar was still filled so he left without making a sound. The massive crocodile then moved slowly, snatching a fish in its mouth.

Tornado looked suprised. He growled "Drive em out? I wouldn't stand a chance against them." He pawed the ground breifly, glancing around...

"I see," Night growled, turning her gaze to a rapidly aproaching hawk. "Easy to forget there are rivals when you live alone." She looked back at the male. "I didn't catch your name," she added casually.

Night twitched an ear. "Night," she replied. her gaze returned to the hawk, curious as to why it would come here of all places.

Maka and Darkfur ventured out alone into the forest, hoping to find this mysterious being. "It could be a Bear" Maka growled to Darkfur as the came to an open plain. Darkfur growled back "Or it could be another Tiger. Lets just keep looking" He turned away and kept walking. Maka walked along with him. "Shouldn't we have brought a group of Hunters with us?"
"I do not want to risk any of their lives. No more questions asked" He snarled, sounding alittle annoyed.

Blood Scar went around all the rivers, memorizing them. The massive crocodile then found himself in some swamp in the jungle. Blood Scar moved through it, getting used to the place and at the same time, looking for a small meal. The giant croc usually got hungry and a small animal would be not so bad right now...

Tornado grinned and barked "Good to meet you Night, you have much prey around here?" He was eager to find out more about the area, having never really expored here before for any length of time.

"Nice to meet you too." Night shrugged. "There's always been enough to feed the few who live here," she growled. She twitched an ear at the rabbit's remains and added, "We all get by with full stomachs."

Nightbane stood up in a yawning stretch, making a moaning growl as he did so, his stiff joints cracking one by one as he loosened up.
he looked at Tyretros and growled "How's your paw doing?". he could see a few Zebra not far away, so if need be, he could take one of the younger ones to feed himself and Tyretros...

Good I guess... Tyretros growled, putting pressure on the paw, quickly lifting it back up, grinning at Nightbane. He glanced around again, seeing the Zebras not too far off. Tyretros turned back to Nightbane, not sure what to do, slightly embarrassed at his injury.

azure eye woke from his sleep and could see that it was now morning. the white tiger walked out of his cave, stretching before he did so. he walked over to the moose carcass and decided to hide it until he felt hungry. azure eye used his front paws and began to dig a hole, stopping every once in awhile to make sure that nothing would try to take the dead moose while he was busy. after 15 minutes, he finished the hole and pushed the dead calf in, making sure to cover up the hole to make sure that nothing would be able to find it so easily except for himself. the carnivore memorized where he had dug the hole and once he was satisfied, set off for a walk.
