A group of Elves charged the Demon that had used the Inferious spell, but were smacked aside by Valroz as if they weighed no more than feathers. He laughed. "These fools think they are strong enough to defeat us?! I have never seen such stupidity from any creature!"

the four massive Red Dragons were unleashing a storm of spells upon the demons, specialising in Fire draining spells as well as using their own melee skills to toss the Demons around like rag dolls. they targetted the leader of the horde, and unleashed a concentrated blast of Energy draining magic to weaken it. meanwhile, the head of the Four Dragon guardians had mentally contacted their leader, The Red Emperor Inferno. he was one of the few Red Dragons who had complete control over heat itself, meaning he was among the very few that could weaken the Demons immensely. but the Emperor was weak, tired and sick because of a chaos spell Beliar had unleashed on him in the form of tainted food, and for the moment, was unable to fight. the dragons could easily hold their own against the Demonic hordes with the help of the Elven forces, but for how long they could hold them off, they didn't know...

Valroz spun to face the attacking dragons, his eyes burning furiously. With a bellow, he jumped into the air, leaving a charred patch of ground behind him as he flew straight into the lead dragon, kicking it in the chest and flinging it back into its comrades.

Dm: these Dragons are bloody enormous. a man to them is like a guinea pig to a person

the Dragon snarled before swinging a massive clawed hand into the attacking Demon Commander, sending it flying back towards the ground. the four Dragons attacked with more Fire draining magic, while they used their other body parts to eliminate any attacking Demons. large meteors began raining down on the city, wrecking many buildings. "Use them against the Demons!" roared the leader, and at once, the massive Imperial Guards began using magic to steer the meteors towards the Demonic hordes, wiping out large numbers of them. their numbers were lessening, but still fairly large...

Meanwhile, back at the Golden Peak, Inferno was under heavy treatment. several White Dragon Elders were collected around him, healing him and making sure he could not be weakened this much by poison again, by strengthening his immune system to several times the normal state. Fieras had taken on the role of leader in Inferno's place in his illness, and was now planning on how best to fight off attackers. Dragons didn't have any kind of army. it was more a strongly knit community with fighters and protectors, and it was probably due to the fact that Dragons fought best when they were alone...

OOC: True, but Valroz is pretty much as tall as them. He's not very long, but that's because he stands upright.

Valroz snarled, getting to his feet. "Accursed Fire Dragons," he growled. The Demon grabbed a nearby Imp and drained what little flame it had to energize himself. He flew back up into the air and began diving past the dragons too quickly for them to retaliate, as he would fly in front of one, slash it with his claws, then dart out of reach for a moment, before flying towards another and attacking it as well.

the four Imperial Guards flew right at the Demon Leader, flying upwards at the last minute, and swinging their massive tails into it's wings, knocking it off balance and sending it plummeting to the ground, before using the meteor sized catapult ammunition from the Demonic army to hurt the Demon Leader, by steering them at him before draining all the fire in it to fuel themselves, leaving the Demon to be pummeled with cold rocks, which had eventually reached the point that it was buried beneath them...

Valroz managed to pull himself from the rubble. He had no choice but to force a retreat. "All Demons retreat!" He stomped off, closely followed by the remnants of his army. Beliar would not like to hear this...

As the Dragons watched the Demons retreat, they sighed in relief. they had only barely managed to fight them off, and Alcyria was in ruins. it's Army was halved, with over 600 dead and 1000 injured, and most of their buildings in ruins. fires raged through most of the city, though the Dragons swiftly managed to draw out the flames, putting the fire out relatively easily. the condition of the City wasn't good. many of it's inhabitants were being moved to other Elven cities, where they had relatives to help take care of them, while the Capital was rebuilt. Back at the Demonic Capital at the Wastelands of Angkor, Beliar grinned. indeed his initial attack had failed, but this was merely a test to see how powerful the enemy's forces were. "Pathetic" he snarled in a deep, rough voice that sounded like millions of rocks slamming against eachother, with a deep, almost satanic voice that sent shivers down the spines of anyone who heard it. that tiny test army had left the Elven Capital in ruins. perhaps now they'd finally realise what would happen when he was angered by their defiance. soon, this world would be his...

Inferno stood to his feet. he had been more or less nursed back to health, though he was still tired. Slytherius had been sent to warn the other Dragon Emperors to keep a sharp eye on any possible risk, to save them from the same problem that had befallen Inferno. one of the few Purple Dragons in Inferno's service was helping him sleep, using psychic magic to lock his mind from any other intruder, to insure he could regain his strength fully and quickly, without any possible disruptions from attacking Mind Readers...

When Valroz and his army arived back at the Wastelands, Valroz immediately went to confront Beliar. He knew that Beliar had already figured out everything-he was the leader of all Demons, after all-but he had to report to him nonetheless.

th gigantic 8 horned Demon Lord looked down at his servent, his skeletal face emotionless. "Speak, Valroz" snarled Beliar in a bone chilling voice. it would be interesting to see how the Demon decided to explain his failure. on a large black Spike behind the Demon Lord's throne, a writhing purple Dragon was impaled. the strange thing was, it wasn't dying. it was a torture device. many other, far smaller spikes could be seen around it, with various other creatures on it, including Orcs, Unicorns, Kirin, Giants, Trolls, Humans, Elves, Dwarves and many other creatures...

Valroz bowed in front of Beliar before straightening and replying, "Well, my Lord, I had no choice but to retreat. We had completed our main objective, and we couldn't have done much against the Dragons, even the size of my army."

Beliar nodded slowly, growling "What was the condition of the Elven Capital when you left?" and how much damage did you cause in comparison to what you recieved?". the Demon Lord pulled a Giant off of one of the spikes, and ate it whole, the flavour of the tortured, bloodied and bruised flesh appeasing his need to cause pain. as his razor sharp teeth ripped into the Giant's flesh a loud, screeching roar was heard, before being swallowed alive, the scream being heard as it went down Beliar's massive throat, finally falling silent after a few seconds of descent into the fiery hell of acid and flames within the massive Demon's stomach...

Valroz growled, "The Elven city is in ruins, Lord. They didn't stand a chance. My army was more than larg enough to take care of them. We only lost several dozen Demons."

"Excellent" snarled the immense demon as he stood from his immense rock and bone throne, grinning, his razor sharp, black fangs glistening with red light from the numerous fires around him. he looked at the smaller Demon and growled "You may leave", before resting himself on his throne once more, planning his take over of this world, as he had done so many others...

that afternoon Inferno woke up, refreshed and finally back to normal. he yawned widly, stretching and letting off a number of cracks as his stiff limbs were loosened up, then looked around, and could see Fieras in the corner, watching over him. "Nice to see you're awake" she growled warmly. Inferno nodded with a grin, and got to his feet, yawning. "Where is everyone?" he growled, noticing the only other Dragon besides him and Fieras being the Purple Imperial that had been protecting his mind during his sleep, curled up in one of the corners of the cave, head bowed low in deep respect for the Red Emperor. "preparing themselves. The near distruction of Alcyria isn't something that's going to go unnoticed. everyone wants to be completely prepared" growled Fieras as she stood up and walked over to the Red Dragon before her, nuzzling him. he nuzzled Fieras back, before she growled "Are you ok?". Inferno nodded, giving his mate a light lick on the cheek and then looking over to the Purple Imperial. "What is your name, Imperial?" he growled. "Elorian, Your Majesty Inferno" growled the female Purple Imperial. "Thank you for your help, Elorian. I am in your debt. I will not soon forget this favour" growled Inferno. "Your thanks would be best given to Empress Morian for assigning me to watch over you, your majesty. I am pleased that i could have helped" growled the Purple Imperial before bowing lowly and backing out of the cave. as she was about out of the chamber, Inferno growled "Do not bow to me, Elorian. It is not needed". the Purple Imperial nodded, and left, finally experiencing first hand the rather wide spread story of Inferno's hatred of being treated as a greater being than others. Inferno looked at Fieras and growled "I must go to Alcyria. one of my friends there may need help". Fieras looked at him conscerned, before finally growling "I'm coming with you". Inferno nodded, and went to the entrance. he swung a clawed hand at the Entrance to the Golden Caverns, blocking the entrance with a powerful barrier, roaring, summoning the rest of the Imperial Guard. He commanded two of them to stay as guards, and took the rest with him, and headed towards Alcyria...

Valroz bowed low. He turned and walked off, surprised that Beliar wasn't mad. Valroz didn't exactly see retreats the same way as Beliar, though, as he thought them as a sign of cowardice.

Damarian was among the wounded elves. He had terrible cuts along his arms and what looked like a gash on his leg. He was in pain, and moaned when two of the elves that were helping the wounded tried to move him. The two elves that were helping helping him tried to talk to him calmly as they tried to move him, but he would still moan and ask about the elf girl that he fell in love with. "Where is she? What happened to her?" They didn't answer, for they didn't know who he was talking about but he kept on asking about his dear elf. "Tell me, where is Uylreia?" They still didn't reply. Damarian was getting frustrated, but also getting dizzy. At once, everything went black.

Vicis tried again and this time it worked, the Earth froze around her and everything was silent. She tried hard to go back in time, no use. She tried again, no use. She growled and tried again... The earth span quickly, very quickly around her. The mountains began to change and everything happened so fast. She tried to stop it, but she couldn't she tried again but still it kept going backwards. Until the planet was just water and still she went on until there was just rock, bare rock. She landed dumbfounded.

Inferno tore through the air at breakneck speed, moving so fast that very few if any living creatures could even come close to matching his speed, his powerful wings propelling him forward with stunning power, Fieras and his Imperial Guard barely keeping up with him. he unleashed a deafening, booming roar to announce his arrival as he tore over the forest seperating the Bloodrose Plains and the Elven Capital of Alcyria. it was still probably about 10 miles away, the forest being massive, but his roar would easily be heard very well. below him, another of his friends was in trouble, his haste making him miss the scene below entirely...

Suddenly, the men froze and turned stone white as they heard a roar overhead. Some of them shook with fear and looked up wildly at the sky. They didn't know what to do, so they looked at their leader for an answer. What they saw was a look of fear on his face too. "What the hell...?" he said, his voice holding a shake. He waited for his fear to subside when he felt that the thing overhead wouldn't come to attack them. But what if it comes back, he thought. "Men, we must move fast. Get the beast up from the ground now!"

The four other men looked at Orion, still shaking. They used the ends of the ropes to whip his flanks to force him up. Orion lost all the fight in him, so he complied and shakily got up. The men smirked, satisfied and started to force the unicorn to follow them.

Inferno went into a dive, beating his wings powerfully and snarling as he landed on the ground at the gates of the Elven Capital, which were several feet below the surface, in a massive crater. he began to walk through the wide streets of the wrecked city, looking at the faces of numerous Elves, trying to find Damarian. behind him, Fieras followed, Inferno's Imperial Guard circling overhead...
