A figure slung through the city, a wet slimey tendril latching onto building after building, shooting the figure of a teenage boy through the air. Jake, still accepted the black creature all over his body. The swinging stopped, as Jake dropped a few stories before he shot another tendril, latching onto a Lamp post. He pulled himself towards it, as his position changed he was soon skideing along the ground, rolling uncontrolably. Jake finnally came to an end, pushing himself up before coughing up blood. "Augh... ****..." He clutched his wound and managed to walk down the sidewalk. His position slouched, and a trail of blood windeing down his arm to the concrete path.

Roger claped his hands together and exclaimed "Great! I know loads about the streets and who runs them! Together we can whack these guys!"

Kevin nodded and in a second, he was in his costume, his mask in his hands. He cracked his knuckles and said "Lets see what you can do.."

Roger scratched the back of his head and said "Errr I dont have a costume... but anyway... ya..." He looked around and then picked up the dustbin lid. He placed a palm on its side and pulled his hand down it, A blue flame coming from his palm, cutting right through the metal. When he was done, he threw the two sides over his head. and waited for Kevins response

"Impressive, but in situations when you have to dodge a bullet, you need something that can cover a distance." Kevin said. He slipped his mask on and pondered how he can help control fire

Jake limped slowly, the amount of people building, not many seemed to notice his pitiful state, but then it came. "Hey! Hey! He's-HE'S BLEEDING!" Screamed a man. "Kid are you okay." he asked grabing Jake's shoulder. "Get away from me." Jake replied. The man wouldn't let go. "Are you okay?"
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" A tenticle came out slamming the man and pinning him to the wall. Shrill screams errupted as tenticles emerged from Jake's clothing grabbing random people before chucking them away. A man in the crowd took out a camera, and began snapping pictures. Being careful to avoid the teenager's attention. Jake screamed a tenticle aipping across and lobbing him into the air were he rocketed away from the crowed. And only a few minutes later news stations were on it, camera's loaded at the area and the victims and Jake was darting across the street, avoiding a police car.

Roger jumped slightly and said "oh! I can also do this!" He picked up the lid off the other dustbin and flung it away. In a flash, he raised his wrist and a red ball of energy blasted out of it, peirceing right through the metal and fading into the night sky. The lid fell to the ground with a foot wide hole burnt into the center. He looked up when he heard sirens but otherwise ignored them, more intrested in kevin

Kevin was dumb founded. "It seems like you already mastered your powers" He looked at the pin point blast dissappear and the lid fall to the floor. "OH SNP!" Kevin said suddenly, hoping no one saw the blast, especially Jillian..

Jake Darted down the street, turning to the wall and instantly darting up it, his tenticles draging back, barely cluthcing onto his body. He made his way to the top. The police car stopping, siren blareing. They began to fire at Jake. A bullet flund hitting Jake in the shoulder, he colapsed onto the roof, gasping for air. "Augh... Augh... ****!" He tried to push himself up before he stumbled. And fell again, blood leaking from his wounds.

Roger was looked perplexed. He said "Huh? What is it?" Confused at the sudden outburst and worried that he had done something wrong

Scaletail glanced at Dr. N. "It seems he's disguising himself as a police bot. Why is beyond me."

Kevin grabbed Rodger by the hand and zoomed off in the oppposite diection of his house. He zoomed up the side of a buildig and slid across the roof. The 2 were about 40 stories above the ground. "Phew.." Kevin said, relieved.

The police stil had the lights falshing, there gun fire stopped as they looked up at the building, Jake hadn't peeked out, but blood was on the sidewalk. "Should we send somebody up?" one asked. "No, did you see the tenticles? He's dangerous." Just then a kid was walking through the crowd, wich was barely being held off by the police. He pushed his way to the front, manageing to be right against an cop. "Kid go home, this is off limits." The boy said nothing looking up at the police officer. "Kid go ho-" In an instant the man was rocketing above the crowd, and the boy running to the building were he lept up, seeming to climb up the wall with ease, he was shot at instantly, but his movements were so inhuman, he simply leaped away from the bullets. It was as if he matched Jake's speed, but he wasn't injured. And when the boy disapeared ontop of the roof, the police were wondering just what was going on.

Kevin looked at Rodger and said "How did you get these powers?"

Rodger looked down at his feet embarced, scuffing the ground with his shoes and said "well... I err.. I don't know. I think I have always had them. But my control over them grows every day....."

Kevin thought about the story, it was becoming foggy, didnt make much sense. How did the boy know his name? The only ones who knew that was DR. Lewis, and Nick Fury. Suddenly, Kevin gasped. "dont use your powers unless its absolutely nessesary, like fihting crime. You can practice your power, use it to see what you can do but do it in a secluded place."

Rodger narrowed his eyes and said "Why not? you use yours all the time, thats how you got us up here. I've been doing research ever since I recognised you and I have seen evidense of you useing your powers almost all the time! How do you think I knew where you lived? Secuirty cameras"

"I use it on patrol." Kevin then thought of a solution. "Where a mask, you can where a mask and no one would know who you are.." Kevin froze. He always wore a mask when using his powers. How could rodger have known his identity came into Kevin's mind again

Rodger looked up and said "oh? Wear can I get a mask?" He was moments away from asking the question that was bugging him but he kept it back for now

evin replied "I made mine, but you can get one at an old novelty shop near here"
