The boy had paused on the roof, looking around. Nothing. Jake was nowere to be seen. "Damnit." He exlaimed. "Well. THere's always Lewis." The boy turned away and lept onto another roof, and ran down the roof tops.

Jake landed on the streets hard, crawling a bit as he ran to an alley way, jumping in then leaping to the wall, then to the one next to it then back, gaining height. He had to escape, get away, live to fight.

The Ninja jumped to his feet, bolting after the hero, slamming his fist into his stomach, turning to round house kick him in the face. Drawing the blade with amazing speed, suddenly his hand was above his head, blood dripping from the sword, a slash now on the hero's chest, the wound not fatal, but was bleeding. "Speed or not, you still bleed like the others." The Ninja's voice sounded, lowering his hand. "I suggest you leave me to my business...or my blade will taste your blood once more..." the mechanical, erie voice sounded, the one eye staring straight at the hero.

Kevin got up and charged the ninja, round house kicking his arm and grabbing the blade. Kevin threw it into the air and made a cyclone, blowing it far from the site. Kevin landed with a thud and took a long breath.

The Ninja's camoflage was working once more, appearing behind the hero, the pulse making the hero stumble, giving the Ninja time to grab his neck with his arm, choking him with his metalic arm. After a few moments, he kneed the back of the hero's knees, making him fall onto his knees. The Ninja round house kicked the hero in the head, making him fall to the side. Disappearing once more, he headed in the direction of the sword, unseen by all.

Roger suddenly charged out of an ally, he grabed Kevins shirt and started dragging him back, keeping one eye on the ninja, hopeing it wouldnt see him. He pullled Kevin in and proped him up against a bin, waving his hand infront of his face to see if he was awake

Kevin put and hand to his thrubbing head and groaned. "Some party" He mumbled stupidly. and opened his eyes. He saw Rodger looking at him and then asked "What happened?"

Roger glanced at the empty street where the ninja walked, unseen. He whispered "You were fighting the Ninja... but its useless trying to kill it. I've seen it before." He glanced at the street again before turning back to Kevin, his features tense

Kevin got up, his joints cracked with each movement. "I wasn't trying to kill it, but thats useless now." He tried running after the ninja but he was in no condition to fight and he braced on a wall.

Roger looked at him seriously and said "I know where its from... There is this lab... that my uncle worked at.... They created the ninja and it does what they want. They have other stuff like it. So if we take them down, we take the ninja down...."

Kevin looked at Rodger.A couple hours ago, he was uncertain of his power, now he wanted to "Take out a lab" Kevin nodded at Kevin and said "Where is it?"

Roger stood up and said calmly "Ya know that bank on avenmore street? Thats it. Not much guards. I have wanted to go in there before but didn't think I was strong enough. "

Kevin nodded and then put his entire weight on his legs, which felt alot better. He dusted off his costume and then sped to avenmore street

Roger let go of Kevin and walked right across the street without a word and without stopping for the traffic. He marched right through the automatic double doors of the boring dull building. He approached the desk confidently and said seriously to the guard "We're here for the school tour" The guard made a mock laugh and said "oh really? get out of here kid. There are no school tours here..." Roger replied quickly "Fine, you win. Could you at least tell us what you do here? for our project?" The guard sighed and said "We do lots of things, banking... trading... we have our own research division..." Roger pressed his hand against the desk side... bored... Half way through the guards explanation, the alarm blared into life, the main doors locking shut. The old guard, fell back in his chair from the shock and hit his head off the fileing cabnit behind him, get knocked unconcsious from the blow. Roger jumped the desk and did a sweep of the cameras he hissed urgently to Kevin "We have more guards coming! Quickly, punch your way through that door over there!" He pointed towards a large door on the other side of the room that looked tough enough to resist most attacks...

Kevin nodded and jumped over to the door. He punched the door while using his speed. When he stopped, the door fell over. He waved his aching wrists and signaled to Rodger to go to where Kevin was standing.

Roger smiled and walked through the wrecked door way, once kevein was through, he lifted the door up and conjured a flame in his hand, welding it back in place. Barely 10 seconds after he heard bangs as the guards tried to get through. He turned and jogged down the corridor, taking random turns. Eventually reaching a black and yellow caution line and a steel door maybe 60 feet down the corridor. He pointed at a small booth next to the door and said "Alright kevin, You go down there and open the door, there is a switch inside the booth and only one guard. Not to hard for you I assume? I'll cover you from here." He conjured a flame in his palm and waited for Kevin to continue

Suddenly, the door swung open and Kevin seemed to not have moved at all. He was leaning on the corridor wall casually and said "Whats next?"

The bases intercom crackled into life and a womans voice said "EMP defence system deactivated, enginer requested in research lab access corridor..." Roger smiled. He took a step foreward and then paused. He hesitated for a second and then he pulled a small beetle like toy robot. He threw it foreward passed the line. The little beetle walked around aimlessly. Roger's grin widened and he stepped over the line, picking up the small beetle and putting it back in his pocket. The only unbreachable defence this base had-removed... He walked down the white corridor, stepping into a room containing a massive metal door with huge steel locks. It could only be opened useing a special key in combination with a retina scanner and a code. One of his eyes seemed to go black for a second and then flashed yellow as he examined the door.

Kevin knocked on the door, whistleing. His right eye widened at the door. "How are we getting past this?" Kevin asked.

Roger studied the wall for a few more moments and then placed his hand on one side of it. He held it there for awhile prepairing to cut into it when a bullet hammered into the wall right next to his arm, he turned around quickly and saw two guards, one of them grabed the others gun and shouted "Hold your fire! they're only kids!" Roger quickly rolled to the side, taking cover at the edge of the doorway

Kevin looked at the gaurd and said "Do you think kids coulda knocked down that door your standing on?" He indicated the ruined remains. He sped up to the gaurds grabbed their guns and knocked one out before they could blink. "Get over there and open that door!" Kevin demanded, pointing the gun at the gaurd. He walked over to the door, opened it with the key code, retina scan and the code. After that, Kevin knocked out the gaurd and put him next to the other gaurd and stepped ito the doorway.
