"Wrong, Stimeak. you could not be farther from the truth than that. though, i don't blame you. being the one with the most power in the White Realm it may seem that i am the one responsible for everything. unfortunately for us both, the truth was a much more...upsetting one. Firstly, to answer the question i asked you, I am Vitae, the White Emperor. the Holder of the White Alariel Gem. the only Keeper of life below the one who created me. as such, i'm assuming it's obvious i love life, in all it's forms. condemning any soul to death is as much a pain to me as condemning myself to it" growled Vitae as he flew around Stimeak, deciding that, since matters were of such a severity as this, it was time to let out the secret he had held for centuries. the biggest secret of the White Family. before he was finally silenced...the memory lost with him. "When we discovered that your mother, my daughter Katrissia, had a child on it's way to coming into the world, my whole soul lightened up with happiness. it is not my business who my family meets and mates, so long as they were worthy of them. to this day, i can only suspect that my old, long dead friend Typhoon's son, Dramacus, was your father. such Storm control could only come from a rightful heir of the Silver Imperials, and his line was known as the worthiest of holding the Gem. that was a fact i knew not back then. i knew it was a Silver, and a powerful one. the soul within you was mighty, even then. not a normal one. however...my mate, your grandmother, did not share this happiness. word spread, and soon, it got out that your mother had been out in the mountains, meeting Dragons. not one. but many. that's what the word that had spread throughout the White Empire said. no sooner had it been heard than my family turned on me behind your mother's back, demanding that I drive her out, for the sake of the family's reputation. i refused, but, faced with nearly 10 relatives, at least 3 of them my younger brothers, who all wanted my position, i was left with no alternative. my power is great, but faced with so many incredibly powerful beings, some surpassing me in natural, non-gem aided power, left me almost incapable of doing anything else, without losing my own life to those treachorous snakes. and so, your mother was forced out of the realm. originally i had intended to help her, but soon, that was shown to be impossible. it was like they wanted to choke out all sources of help. to drown out all chances of you or your mother surviving, calling you and her the "grime that could not stain the White Imperials' homes". So i was left with only the hope that one day they could be punished. and so, some did. wars killed 5. the last 5 are now practically waiting for this day. the day that the Emperor falls so that they may claim his place as ruler. I can only hope you remember these facts one day, and that memory of me is not that of a cold hearted creature who didn't even care for his own daughter" growled the Emperor, his eyes now losing their white glow and revealing their true nature. blood red eyes with thin white slitted pupils in the center of them. his life was at an end. he knew it, and was only regretful that it would be his own flesh and blood that did it. still, he expected that, at least, Stimeak would not be one to torture his body and toy with his soul afterwards, as Demons would have done, had they managed to bring him down. he prepared himself for a fight. if there was one way to die that he could take pride in, and others in generations to come, it would be death in battle...

Stimeak smirked, it wasn't a smirk of triumph or of evil... almost humour. He mumered "Storm control..." He twirled through the air and swung a clawed hand out. Instantly the wind grew past hurricane force, trees from the forest being uprooted and thrown away like twigs. A tall spike of rock near the edge of the crater suddenly froze over with ice and was ripped off its base. It Zoomed right towards Vitaes head and with another flick of Stimeaks wrist, exploded into millions of tiny shards of ice. The shards were too small to do any damage at all and fell like snow, instantly the wind dying down. Stimeak extended a wing, stopping himself. He growled down towards Vitae
"A touching tale emperor... Too bad you haven't heard mine. But, I think its only fair that you know what happened to your daughter... I don't know how young I was then, but I was old enough to understand that she was dying, and that the only reason she didn't just let it happen was me... Our life together was short, each day consisted of basic lessons in life and hunting. I had no contact with anyone else for a long time, and when I finally did make contact with others, thats when everything went downhill. Thats when I learned that I wasn't part of a happy family, that the world isn't a nice place... I started to ask questions, Do I have a father? How come that wyvreen had a father, how come he had a big big family with loads of relations, why do I have just YOU? And whenever I did ask, she would get angry at me, really... angry.... The day I met Dramacus that all changed. By then I was supporting her, I had stoped asking questions and I new enough about hunting to be able to get just enough food for both of us. We were hungry, but alive... When my mother was done talking to Dramacus and was asleep, I followed him around, asking him everything I could think of. It was obvious he didn't like me, but that didn't matter, all that I cared about was that he was my father and in my mind he was going to make my mother better and then we would all live happily. The next day he left while I was still asleep. Why did he leave? According to my mother, he had a different family, a 'better' family... She told me that she wouldnt be alive much longer, and that I was going to live with Dramacuses family... When I asked why she couldn't come to live with us... She simply tapped a claw on her side and said "The exact same reason you aint a prince among dragons..."
Imagine how ridiculous that sounded, me! a prince! ha! Of course it was just something she said to make me feel slightly better and to cover up the real reason which she didnt want to tell me
" His eyes darkned and he spat "Little did I know that I would grow up to find it as the truth... Something as small as the colour of her scales, the reason behind her death..."

Vitae's eyes softened as he thought of what the Dragon had said. "Kat....Katrissia...." he growled sadly, a single tear running down the pure white scales on his face. "And now, we know eachother's stories. the causes behind this disgrace. I am not going to live much longer. i can see it in your eyes, i can sense it. but....if anything, i request one thing. kill those heartless snakes that caused all this. make sure they don't live to have children of their own. eliminate every last one of them...that's the only thing i could hope for...for your mother...my daughter...Katrissia" he snarled, fury and hate now taking the place of sadness, anger in his voice that, on any other circumstances, would have escalated to the point that creatures would shake in fear at the sight of him. his eyes now cold and lifeless, knowing now was his time, and that vengeance was to come afterwards. when, he did not know, but he knew that one day...his family would pay. a hiss could be heard behind him, and as he turned to spot another white creature, one of his brothers, a massive lightning bolt hit the peak it was on, blowing it apart, the Dragon itself destroyed by the blast. a puff of black smoke came from his nostrils as his blazing red eyes watched as the dragon's fried, mangled body parts flew in different directions from the blast. he turned back to Stimeak, anger in his eyes...

A wide grin spread across Stimeaks maw. He snarled"...Gladly..." With a shreik he thrusted a clawed hand foreward. Nothing happened for a second... the storm seemed to die down and lost its power. Suddenly a ring of blue enrgy flew down stimeaks arm and when it reached his hand, a bolt of white lightning blasted out of his claws, slamming into Vitaes chest and blasting him backwards. The bolt continued to stream out of his hand, the beam arced this way and that eventually broke with a shattering crack and sent Vitae crashing into the lip of the crater, the rock cracking all around him. The storm regained its original strength, the flow of power returning to it....

Setrinus was still surveying the area when she suddenly spotted something, a group in the distance. She squinted her eyes, trying to get a better look and almost recognized the group immediantly. Oh my, Inferno, he has returned, she thought, the emotion of happiness clearly showing in her eyes. She was about to take off to fly down to them, but something stopped her. Upon further observation, she noticed that Inferno was with four others and they were all standing around. What happened? Do they need any help? Maybe I should go down... Concerned, Setrinus decided to fly down to Inferno and the group to see what was going on.

Vitae snarled as he swung his arm forward, a blast of white energy flying from his palm and colliding with Stimeak, sending him hurtling back as a series of lightning bolts hit the ground around him, forming a barrier of energy. "Your majesty, we MUST contact the Emperors. this Dragon could be a threat to all of them! I went to warn the Silvers, but when i arrived at the Former Empress' home i found her dead. for all we know he may want the rest of the Emperors dead as well!" snarled the White Guardian. "He wants vengeance...let him have it. it's time we rid ourselves of this corrupt condition in which our kind has been living for so long...he'll be purifying us, and possibly saving the Dragon races in the future. warn them that he's attacking us, and that he may, if provoked, attack them. he's only after my family and i. tell them to find a replacement for us. Life...is taking it's course...and is finding it's way...to purity". the White Guardian opened his mouth to argue, but finally decided to follow his leader's commands. "As you wish, Your Majesty". "It has been a pleasure having you by my side. i can only hope that the same can be said for me" growled Vitae to his guardian and friend. "I hope that, should any other being be considered worthy of becoming a White Alariel Gem Holder, that he may be even a fraction of what you have been" responded the White guardian, before giving a final bow of deep respect, and left the great Emperor behind him, heading for the other Emperors to pass the message on...

the White Emperor stood to his full height, and let off a shrieking roar that was accompanied by the thunderous boom of lightning on the ground around him. he wanted to attract some of his family's attention here. he wanted to see a few of them die before he closed his own eyes one final time...

one of the Guards blocked the Blue Dragon's path and growled "Your majesty...we have a visitor". Inferno turned to face the Dragon, spotting a familiar Blue Dragon hovering in front of him. "Let her pass. she's not a threat". he then returned to the Wounded Guard and waved a hand over the damaged wing, a mist-like white energy coming from his claws as he did, the bones repairing themselves, slowly reattaching then bending back into position, a pained groan coming from the Guard as it happened. "Don't worry, Faris. chances are, after this, you'll feel like you were back as a young Dragon while you're flying" growled Inferno jokingly, bringing a chuckle from the Dragon. "Thank you, Inferno" growled Faris, having long since stopped using the term "Your Majesty" for Inferno, on his demand. Inferno nodded, growling "Well i can't just leave you here. what good would you do sitting with the Blue Dragons, surrounded by the element opposite yours?". Faris chuckled, growling "You have a point, there", before falling silent, letting the Emperor finish his work. Inferno put his hand over the main wound in his chest, before raising his right hand and waving it across the wound like he had the wing, before clapping his broad, right palm against his left, clenched fist, causing a flash of white energy which shot into the damaged scales and slightly damaged tissue, white light coming from within and the sound of welding being heard as the wound finally repaired itself. "That should do it" growled Inferno, before turning to face the young Blue Dragon, his appearance surprisingly messy for an Emperor, his rain-soaked scales gleaming, mud still stuck to various parts of his massive form. "So we meet again, Setrinus. my my, how you've grown since last we met" he growled as he looked at the younger Dragon....

Stimeak roared in pain and twisted to asorb the momentum of the attack. He glided around and twisted once again to face vitae. He raised one arm, spreading his claws out, a small ball of ice forming in his fist. He pulled his arm back swung his other arm foreward, this time, balls of lightning forming around the ice. He pulled the arm back and claped his claws together. Lightning blasted from his hands, slamming into the ice, the tiny missile blasted foreward and crashed into Vitaes chest, explodeing. He quickly formed another with the same technique and sent it spiraling towards Vitaes head

Vitae was knocked back from the hit but bent backwards, narrowly dodging the second blow before forming 2 large balls of pure electricity in his hands, waving them to the side, being struck by the lightning brought by the storm cell, super charging the balls before being swung together, the impact making them shoot forward, knocking Stimeak back and down against the edge of the crater, rocks starting to roll down from the top of the edge...

Stimeak snarled, hardley feeling the pain from the impacts having channeled the power into his own. Right now the remaining lightning was zipping around his wrist like a bracelet. He looked up at the falling rocks and raised his hand, the ring of lightning spilt into three, each bolt zipping into three massive boulders and vapourising them leaving little but dust left. He looked over at Vitae, snaling and leaping back into the air. He roared in anger, invoking a tornado from the storm above them. It ripped through the crater towards vitae, hundreads of jagged shards of ice spinning around inside the vortex. Stimeak smiled as he thought of a little trick. Instead of just sending the tornado slamming into Vitae, which he would most likely dodge, he flicked a hand causeing the tornado to suddenly explode outwards, the blast of wind sending the shards all flying diretly towards Vitae like shruikens, stabing into his flesh and tearing through his wings

Vitae snarled in pain as the shards of ice tore through his wing membranes, though they bounced off his scales with barely any trouble, some making a few dents in the powerful armour tht was his chest scales. his body glowed white and in seconds the wounds had healed. he swung an arm to his right, the hand glowing bright white before letting off a shockwave of energy, the blast bringing life to the area around the crater, and the ground beginning to shake as a series of haunting, moaning roars were heard from below the surface of the ground, as Vitae hurled another pair of lightning balls at Stimeak, knocking him back to the ground as a lightning bolt struck him. "I hate having to fight my own flesh and blood" he growled as he looked at his Grandson, a mixture of anger and sadness visible in his eyes...

Stimeaks magic quickly asorbed the first two attacks with little injury thanks to protective spell he had put up after the last few lightning based attacks. The lightning bolt would have gotten through, but at the last moment and in a flash of bright light, a shrub uprooted itself and leapt into the bolts path, explodeing into flames and landing dead on the ground. Stimeak roared and flew towards Vitae, the wind direction changeing and powering him foreward, within a second he had crossed the whole crater, a sheild of lightning forming around his body and then crashed into Vitaes chest, hammering his claws home...

Vitae flipped himself with the impact, snarling in pain as the claws hit him, some skidding right off of his now soaked chest scales, while others managed to get a grip on the finer scaled sides. as his body flipped back he swung his tail up, latching onto Stimeak's right wing and tearing him off, before blasting him down with a lightning ball, as a number of clawed arms burst from the ground and locked shut on Stimeak's wings and tail. with a roar a couple of wingless dragons, grey in colour, burst from below the surface. they were probably only half Stimeak's size, but they were determined to serve their master. the eye sockets glowed with white energy, their breaths coming out in wisps of white, smoke-like energy as the moved towards the Dragon, their tails raising up behind them, parting at the tips into double scythe-like blades.

Stimeak roared in anger and lashed his tail, the movement shakeing the subtreainaan monsters hand off and then he slamed the tail back down on it, smashing its bones. Blue energy danced up to his wings and in a a crack of lightning the hands holding his wings were turned to dust. He rolled onto his feet snarling He didnt have time for this... He beat his wings and stretched his hands out, the glow took on a dark red hue and seemed to burn for a second. Right away, a tree near the wingless dragons burst into flames, burning brightly. The glow around his hangs changed from red to white and suddenly, the tree uprooted itself and then catapulted itself towards them. Stimeak turned his eyes back to Vitae and then started flying higher into the air, gaining more altitude...

"impressive, Stimeak. it seems your soul gave off the right message" growled Vitae as he waved a clawed hand, sending the burning tree flying off the edge of the crater, away from the wingless dragons that stood below. another wave and a beam of white energy shot towards Stimeak's right wing, which suddenly gained a mind of it's own, beating hard, knockng Stimeak off balance before closing up and wrapping tightly to his side. "Time to see how you fair when fighting your own body" he growled as he flew around the Silver/White crossbreed, wondering how his grandson would fair. for now, he wasn't just fighting. he intended on teaching Stimeak as well. it was the least he could do after the events that had passed...

Stimeak was amazed and only slightly angered about what was happening to him, he had never thought of useing life magic to do this kind've thing to his opponents. He closed his eyes consintrateing hard and tried to gain control over his wing again before sent him to his death. As he started to fall he managed to make it extend again, quickly beating back down and leveling him out. He was hovering again but it was noticeabley harder than before.
He had no intention of letting his grandfather play with him like a puppet. He swung his hands foreward, intending on causeing a bit of chaos within Vitaes body. The flow of blood through Vitaes wings froze instantly

Setrinus smiled a little and gave a nod to the Red Emperor. "Ah yes, it's been many years, Inferno, it's good to see you once again. I kind of missed you." She tilted her head to the side, wondering what they were doing here and thought that it was better to ask. "What brings you to the Singing Caves, my friend? Is anything wrong? And...what happened while you were traveling here? Something bad must've happened if one of your guards is wounded." Concern was written in her eyes. Not only that, but she was curious as well.

Vitae snarled as he felt his blood freeze. "Ugh...not bad, Stimeak. the only things i've seen with better control over heat tha that are Red Dragons" he growled as his arms glowed white as he put it to his chest, immediately killing and replacing all the blood cells, the dead ones almost immediately breaking down to useable material for the new cells. with a wave of his hand, Stimeak's other wing suddenly stopped moving, as if it had been hit by extreme cramps, the whole wing stopping it's movement...

"It's good to see you're in good health, Setrinus. I've come here to meet your Emperor...unfortunately...we were...delayed" he growled as he waved a clawed hand at his now recovered guard. "Blasted Demons just can't learn to stop trying to slow us down" he growled angrily, a fireball forming in his hand as he raised it as he pointed towards the sky where he had been fighting the demons earlier. the fireball grew to about 6 feet wide, before he tossed it against the ground, the ball of fire turning to plain heat, melting the rock it hit and causing a little pool of molten rock to form where he hit, being wide and deep enough to fit a few elves or men in it...

Setrinus' eyes widened. "Not those blasted monsters," she said with a hiss. "They should be wiped off the face of this world." She sighed deeply. The concern never left her face. "What's going on Inferno? Can I follow you to the Blue Emperor" She wanted to get the information and wanted to help out somehow.

Stimeak spun himself with his other wing, pure white light burning across his wing, bringing it back to life. He beat it and evened himself out to face Vitae again. A grin spread across Stimeaks maw. He snarled "Speaking of which..." He drew up one hand, his claws glowing dark red and seemingly burning with fire. He drew a circle of flames in the air in front of him. When he finished, his eyes quickly changed back to blue. A gust of freezeing wind blew foreward and the ring of fire was instantly quenched. A cloud of smoke and steam blasted foreward into Vitaes eyes. While the emperor was stunned, Stimeak darted foreward quickly, a huge jagged chunk of ice growing on his fist and he slammed it into Vitaes jaw, the ice cracking off and lodgeing into Vitaes head.. Stimeak hammered his other clawed hand into vitaes neck, forceing him back. He kicked the white dragon in the chest with both legs, pushing downwards and cutting into his grandfathers chest, holding him in position...

Vitae's eyes flashed white for a moment as lightning struck Stimeak in the back, the intensity stunning him for a moment while Vitae used his arms and tail to pry the Dragon off, as he healed his own wounds, snarling...

"I'm not sure, Setrinus. you're Emperor's apparently been hurt recently. I don't know if they'd trust you to enter. stay close" he growled, before looking at Slytherius. "You, come with me. The rest of you, stand guard outside. if you notice ANYTHING odd, inform me immediately". the Guards bowed respectfully, and took up positions around the castle-like cavern that was Balmeer's home, while Inferno and Slytherius entered...
