Neeblestrix made an annoyed grunt in agreement and he walked over to the window, looking at the fighting pair. He turned around and said "Well we better start clearing up.... Again... Well at least this time they arent hell bent on killing me. I'm still pissed off over our meeting with that idiot freak with the tenticles.... The first idiot freak that is, the second was ok..." He pushed a shelf over to block the window and went to get a dust pan.

Bryan made an aerial recovery and landed on his feet on the pavement. Sword pulsng with negative enrgy. Your a tough bas**** huh? He fired a bolt of the energy at the creature which screeched through the darkness as it made contact with the creatures face, but the outcome wouldnt beknown till the smoke caused by the blast cleared...

"Too bad he didn't come back," Scaletail growled, bending over to place some scattered tapes back on their respective shelves. "I'm itching to use my grenades on some slimy b******."

Suddenly, another clawed hand gripped the human, throwing it effortlessly into the side of a building. The creature screeched, the windows of the surronding buildings shattering violently at the sound. Its armor had protected it from damage, but that didn't mean it couldn't feel pain. But the more the human attacked, the more the creature attacked back...

The impact put a dent in the brick wall as Bryan grunted in pain. He got up and brushed off the rubble he was covered in. So you wanna play hard ball, fine by me. Bryan leaped sword raised and drove it into the creatures back expecting it to shatter but instead it sunk into its hide like it was hot butter. He pulled it out and was somewhat stunned at the outcome of his attack and that left himself open unintentionally...

The creature screeched in pain, the blade having sank inbetween the armor plates. It swung around, its tail whipping violently, slashing the human's leg with its blade-like tip. The creature charged forward, grabbing the human as it spread its wings, lifting into the air effortlessly, its grip tightening as it flew. It screeched directly into the humans face before pulling it away, now high above the ground....

Argghh! Bryan braced as the claws sank deep into his flesh. He reached up and touched the creature on the chest it was his only chance. He began to focus his energy and began to absorb the creatures physical energy and stamina slowly waiting for it to lose its strength to hold him...

The creature grunted, the effort of flying suddenly becoming too hard to bare. It looked down, seeing the human touching its chest. Knowing it was the human's doing, the creature snarled, using the last of it's strength to turn, slamming the human against a building, dragging it along side the building as it started to near the ground. Finally letting go, the creature shrieked as it hit the ground. It remained on the ground for a few moments, regaining its strength slowly but surely...

Ughh..., Bryan gripped his wounds and with some effort managed to meld into the shadows and safety. This creature was tough and it would take much more to kill it then he thought, if it could be killed. He began to plan for his next strike...

The creature rose once more, glancing around swiftly for the human. It was gone. It screeched in anger, having recieved nothing from the effort, not even a meal. The creature stretched its wings, making sure there was no major damage done. It lifted into the air, waiting for the human to reappear, not yet ready to give up the hunt...

a large multi-limbed machine burst from a large manhole in the middle of the street, ripping a wide hole in it as the 15 foot machine heaved itself onto the street, it's tail coming up behind it and arching over it, it's 8 legs spreading out and it's massive steel pincers snapping as two small red bulb/visors scanned the surrounding area. "Target name: Malcolm Granger. Target Acquired" appeared on the Scanner's monitor back at headquarters...

"Excellent" said a man standing in the top floor CEO office at Electrotek HQ, looking at a small monitor built into the desk, 3 more monitors placed in front of him, each showing various kinds of information, one showing sales and profit, another showing advancement levels on various new products, and the third showing information on a new key weapon planned for mass production and sales to Government agencies around the globe. but this small, 4th screen was special...

Neeblestrix took out a laptop and put it down on the counter, pulling over a stool. He said "Scaletail, you should go check out the villians pub place. Chances are this is happy hour, may aswell blow it up now seeing as you wont be able to get back to sleep..." He did a check up on the labs inventory. All supplies and raw materials were in check. There were three Scorpian X-5 assault tanks complete and two wasps were finished and awaiting testing... The wasps were his latest in robotic warfare. Airbourne killing machines designed to work both indoors and outdoors...
Suddenly, he heard a huge crash of rock and metal outside. He looked out of the clear window at the metal monstrousity pulling itself out of the sewers. He muttered "What the hell is that do- wait.. that isn't mine.... Motherf***ers!" He dived away from the scene and tabbed the Hornet on his wrist pads contact list. He shouted "Get your metalic *** over here now!" A bored reply came back "So I dont even get time off to clean off the blood after your last littl-" Neeblestrix cut him off "I said now!" A quick beep of confirmation came and he the line was cut off.

a car was blocking the Scorpion Mech's path to the shop. the sound of hydraulics could be heard as the pincers converted into a pair of massive scythes, the lower part of the claws sliding in and the upper part extending, a razor sharp, laser sharpened solid steel blade sliding out beside the upper claw Scythe, doubling the strength of the blows it would inflict. raising it's claws it swung down, slicing the black BMW in half and knocking it aside as it's tail tip was pulled in, a small gun barrel pointing out of it's middle and firing several high powered rounds into the shop, removing all possible places for cover as it moved towards the shop. the machinegun turret was then retracted into the tail and the normal scythe blade drifted out over it, the Scorpion reverting to it's original state as it moved towards the shop...

Scaletail paused staring out the window. "Want me to go ahead and get to the pub, or will Hornet need help?" he growled.

Neeblestrix looked up at the machine and said "You go off to the pub, if it wanted to kill me it already would have. Its not an X-5... an X-5 would have killed us before I had a chance to say "what the ****"" He waved a hand infront of the Scorpians face muttering "Hello?"

Valentino chuckled as he watched through the screen at the whacky looking man he had been tracking down. "Amusing..." he said as he grabbed the radio device used to control the Scorpion, a small remote that perfectly matched the shape of a man's closed hand. a blue light drifted across the area where Valentino's fingerprints were, and a bleeping sound came. as soon as it stopped, he brought the remote's microphone to his mouth and said "Retrieve the Target"...

the Scorpion's tail blade once again retracted, a large ring-like pincer coming from it instead, locking around Granger's waist and lifting him into the air, before heading back towards the sewers, a small gun barrel coming out of the back of the tip of the tail, firing a sedation dart at the only other thing in the shop, firing 3 more in rapid succession, downing the person instantly...

Scaletail got into a defensive stance, but then the darts hit him. He fell backwards, unconscious.

Neeblestrix grunted as he was lifted up. He waved goodbye to Scaletail as it carried him towards the sewers. He was stuck bewteen what to do. He could pry the clamp apart useing his bionic implants... He could bring in an X-5 or a wasp... That would be entertaining. Besides, he had machines all over the sewers. It was his turf... In the end he decided to just let it carry him off. Assumeing that it wanted him alive. Sting was in his pocket. A small blip came from his wrist pad. He checked it. It was from the Hornet who was accordingly "Waiting for the sign" He pressed a button on the pad and brace fitted over it, hideing the electronics from veiw.

as the Scorpion entered the sewers, the legs changed so that they had numerous micro-grapple hooks, a special liquid being released from them that bonded with the surface they touched, holding the hooks in place. every time the hooks left the wall the old, used casing of chemicals was ejected and a new layer came over the hooks, resulting in high speed movement along the walls. it didn't take long for the Scorpion to find it's target, another hole similar to the one it had made in front of the shop. as it emerged it found itself in the middle of a downtown street. as the hooks retracted the Scorpion kicked into high gear, moving forward at top speed. a small needle attached to an electronci arm came out of the central opening in the tail, and pricked Granger in the neck, letting off a few miligrams of the same sedative that had knocked out his "friend" back at the shop, knocking him out as it continued it's march towards home...

"wakey wakey, Malcolm" said a man in a suit in the middle of a large white room, the only distinguishable things in it the table Granger lay on and the dual steel doors that seemed to be electronically locked...

Malcolm leaned up growning. he blinked, his vision blured. He muttered "Oh joy... Did I win the lotto or something?" He used one of his hands to lean on and waited expectantly
