The Hopper ignored the fists, his armored head protecting him from a physical assault. A pair of Warriors charged at the temple wall, attempting to climb it to attack Derek.

Derek fired another shot, the slug tearing into the hoppers head and killing it, makeing it drop Martain. He flicked a switch on the side of the rifle, aiming down at the warriors. A rocket burst from the side of the gun, the tiny missile hitting one of the warriors in the chest and blowing it into a flameing and bloody wreck. He attached another rocket to the launcher and prepared to fire again..

With a tremendous leap, the Warrior jumped upwards, landing on a ledge just below Derek. It clamped its mandibles around is rifle, bending the barrel in two with ease, before flinging it away and out of Derek's hands. The now-wrecked rifle landed on the ground below, as the Arachnid soldier screeched, preparing to lunge.

"Sir at least a mile till we hit the exit...Imperial Forces are reading their gunships and fighters as escort" One of the captains replied as they ocasscionaly ran into some Flood units that were either quickly blasted down or hacked to death from the Dark Lord of the Sith himself as the ARC Troopers moved quickly as they paused.

Sounds were off in the distance...another battle. Radar range increased would reveal the vast ammount of enemies...this temple was larger and deadiler then it seemed and they needed to fakk back. They took a quick breather, arms poised and ready as the looked through the dark corriders.

"Ready..." Revan asked, poised and ready...lightsaber activated.

"Go!" Revan then responded after the troopers nod as they began to move once more..

Derek's elbow crashed into the side of its head, blowing it to the side. He continued his spinning motion, ramming his knife into its brow. He then kicked it away, blowing it off the ledge and pulling out his knife in the one move. He cursed himself. That rifle was an extremely high tech peice of equipment, how had he lost it so easily? Martain got to his feet, sprinting foreward and leaping into the air, landing onto an arachnids head and jumping off it into the trees...

A xeno runner glanced up, seeing that the intruders hadn't come yet. The others were starting to stir again as well, leaving their still positions in which they seemed dead. Just to be safe, they planned to sound a scout out once again to check on the position of the arc troopers.

The wounded Warrior staggered to its feet and screeched, charging after Derek with its mandibles open and ready to attack.

A Combat Form landed in front of the ARC Troopers, but a Warrior appeared as well, which knocked the Flood creature into the wall with its huge head, making the Combat Form collapse into pieces. The Arachnid screeched and stabbed a side mandible into one of the troopers shoulders. As he fell, the Warrior leaped atop him, painfully ripping him apart with a flurry of mandible slashes.

Derek drew his pistol, blasting bullets into its head while backing away up the temple. Agility wouldnt be much use against these foes, he couldnt kill them quickly enough...

The ARC Troopers backed up as the trooper with the Quad Blasters which he was esstentially a walking man with 8 large blasters on him...a massive threat to hordes of infantry and vehclices as he opened fire as the blasters opened fire rapidly as the bolts of blue lasers smashed into the creature as the other troopers opened fire as well as Revans stayed in the front, Lightsaber on...ready to strike if more came

Green blood sprayed the temple walls as the shredded Warrior fell, its lower mandible torn away and its carapace smoking.

The Warrior chasing Derek stopped and shook its head as the bullets hit it, but the Arachnid wasn't yet dead.

The xeno queen hissed and at the sound, two runners came up to her. they listened to her hiss again and departed. They had been ordered to attack the arc troopers and if possible, bring one back to use for a host. The quadrepdal xenomorphs crawled on the walls silently, grinning at the thought of attacking the intruders. the queen then sent a group of warriors, drones and praetorians to follow them shortly after they had left.

"Go..." Revan replied as the troopers pressed on, moving quickly as they moved though the corriders and tunnels as they looked around, still armed and their radar activated knowing full well a threat could be coming.

Meanwhile the Imperial Fleet cloaked...seemingly gone from radar and all sorts of detection as they neared the planet, they were ready for combat but while every ship was cloaked...they could not risk attacking or revealing themselves completely..

The xeno runners had heard the sounds of the others of their kin that were following them and glanced back briefly, letting them catch up. the stealthy creatures moved on and it wasn't too long before they began to heard the sounds of the arc troops. The arc troopers would be in for a suprise when they were attacked.

More spores appeared from space, utilizing their organic warp drives to rocket down to the planet. Some hit the cloaked Star Destroyers, but were simply vaporized by the shields of the ships.

The ARC Troopers' radar constantly showed dozens of contacts as Arachnids continued to appear throughout the temple. fortunately, most of them were in different corridors an were focusing on the Flood.

The shields held typical...random spores were hitting them. Meanwhile the fleet stopped...their shields would hold as they were ready to send another ARC Trooper team to be dispatched at the temple entrance where they would scramble and retrieve the others...

Revan and his men were closing in on the entrance...almost there..

A rumble sounded, followed by a massive eruption of dirt as a giant beetle climbed out of the earth in front of the temple entrance. The debris filled have the door, and the Arachnid Tanker stood there, unaware of the ARC troopers and Revan, but fully capable of frying them if they didn't get past it.

the xeno runners picked up their pace and they spotted the arc troopers within a minute. They hissed to spook the troops before crawling silently on the ceilings, the warriors and drones with them while the praetorians lurked in the shadows to watch and wait until needed.

Derek aimed for the top of its hind leg and fired, the bullet tearing through the muscle and causeing the creature to fall... Now wouldve been a good time for the Sentinal to makes its appearance. Sadly the machine had been ordered to patrol the region before entering the temple...

The Warrior collapsed on its side, but stubbornly crawled towards Derek, hissing angrily as it reached out with its mandibles to snap at him.

"****...we need to wait for the gunships..." The captains replied as the others stood close to the entrance...waiting..

"Incoming!" Another captain yelled as the ARC Troopers turned around...something was on radar and before any thing happened they opened fire as their blaster riffles as the ones with the Quad Blasters and Chain Guns unleashed hell the most as they opened firing, firing at the roofs and the sides of the wall...eveywhere...they were not going to take chances as Revan kept his Lightsaber Drawn...ready to move if needed..

Meanwhile TIE Phantoms and one gunship was getting armed and ready...preparing to leave the massive hangers of the Annihilator...the order was given, their engines wered fired up..
