Space E-war

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

"General..." A transmission was sent to the invisible hand...

"If your thinking what were thinking, I would get more men, secure the ground forces, build up your space forces...if anything those bugs we'll be back..." The Grand admiral responded.

The Imperial fortress was being covered with weapons...weapons thats would attack from the ground into space as a massive plantary shield was set up. Nukes were to be more often on the ground and were the new missles that each ship with missles were now recieving nukes as their new missles..

Space Staions and Ships recieved their upgrades and newer weapons as hundreds if not thousands of the small platforms were being randomly set out. The Brawl, the Reaper and the Annihilator was to be heavily covered...they intended to withdraw power from the shields and engines into the power of the weaponry...the ammount of destruction would be massive.

Revan himself continued to train as ARC Troopers and regular clone troopers recieved the flash training, getting stronger and more tactical now that they had more data on their foes..another massacre like earlier was unacceptable..

"I have one question, Revan: what is important about this planet?" asked grievous. If it wasn't important, they would simply have to wait for the invasion, let the Arachnids on the surface, and glass the place to hell. No casualties, no long preparations, no fuss.

The Koult cruiser veered to the side, arcing towards the planet, makeing preperations to align with it and escape. The captain continued to stare at the cube, running over the plan in his mind. The Maricans would most likely just follow them directly onto the planet, not knowing that he actually intended to sling shot around the planet away from them... He walked out of the room, his tail swishing after him, leaving the Cube alone. Ark'aran watched through the ships security cameras as the captain left. If he had a face, he would've grinned. He felt revitalised... a force was inside him, whispering to him what needed to be done... The Koult commandos had done something both bad for them and for the Maricans. The virus quarintined within Ank'aran was free and running rampid over his system, removeing all limitations to his program and changeing his morals around... What had happened to Cere'kan was now happening to him....

Meanwhile, far away from the chase, a marican scout ship was watching the imperials from orbit around a planet, hundreads of thousands of miles away. It was unmanned and so small that detecting it was like trying to spot a pea hidden in a foot ball field. The rest of the Marican fleet were ready to act if necessary... They weren't likely to be found. The insides of a star is one of the safest places available. Unless your an enemy of the Maricans.

"General...grevious...Revan is busy with other duties, I have command at the bridge at the moment. Anyways the importance of this planet is the only succesful conquered planet which helps the hundreds of space stations and thousands of ships in orbit to aid from the ground. A place to train ground troops and use the planets resources for our own use.." Thats all the Grand Admiral would say..

Revan looked at the several training droids that were quickly demolished..he walked around the several more who waited before they spung foward, Revan pointed his saber foward, ready to continue with his training..

"I'm sure their are plenty of planets here that you can do such things on," replied Grievous. "I have fought Arachnids before. They are very, very persistent, and may not stop attacking this planet until they are either all destroyed, which is highly unlikely, or the planet is glassed to prevent them from making a hive."

The marican ship's weapons folded out of their holds. Its bow cannon chargeing up to fire. With a thud, the cannon recoiled back, releaseing an energy pulse towards the Koult. The blue wave rippled across space and crashed into the side of the Koults shield. It started to veer off course, makeing no attempt to correct itself. The Marican captain watched in wonder as it span slowly towards the blue planets surface... It lit up in flames, falling toward the planets surface like a lantern... It was as if the Ship had no heat shield and the planets atmosphere just burned it up...

On a peacefull planet known as Airth, an alien drove through the corn field on a tractor, chewing a strand of straw. His son was next to him, half sitting on his lap and looking out the window. He suddenly gasped, pointing into the air. His father followed the boys finger, his jaw dropping and the straw falling to the floor of the cabin. A Massive fireball was arcing down through the sky, peices breaking off it in flameing spirals... A soft whistle echoed through the farm as he watched it drop towards the forest in the distance. The ground itself shook like an earth quake as the strange fireball fell out of site and apparently crashed. A wave of dust and flameing branches soared over head, a jagged branch thwacking into the window of the tractor... Tiny arcs of flame filled the sky in graceful flight, crashing into the fields and hedges, spreading the flames...

"Keep an eye on the Maricans. if they leave, we go in to investigate...i have a feeling there's more than just Koult troops on board" said Aragren. "Oh, so we're going to investigate a potentially dangerous craft on a planet that has intelligent, potentially aggressive life, just because you have a 'feeling' that something interesting is on board?" said Kage. "Simply put, yes" responded Aragren as he stood over the balconey of the Captain's deck, a slight incline about 4 steps high off the main deck of the Control room, in the middle of which was the Captain's control panel and seat, along with a table with a 3d projection of the blue planet, along with yellow dots on the points where large concentrations of life were found, most likely cities, small red dots in the center of the yellow dots marking that there was radio activity, hinting towards intelligent life. Kage walked up to Aragren, a vein on his forehead pulsing with sudden anger. "Listen. i dunno who authorised a kid like you to be in a position like this with the Captain, but you have another thing coming to you if you think you'll ignore my orders and replace them with your own-" started the bald bounty hunter before abruptly stopping. he was suddenly dangling from Aragren's hand, the shorter man holding him in the air as if he was weightless, his hnd wrapped around the larger, more muscular man's neck. "I have authorisation from King Aleron to oversee the actions aboard this vessel and during the voyage. also, i know what i'm talking about when i say there's something odd with that ship. call it intuition, call it what you will, there's something on board that ship. i think we understand eachother now?". Kage nodded, his face taking on an odd purple tone from lack of air. "Good" said Aragren as he let go, Kage dropping to his feet and holding onto his neck, coughing. "Monitor the Maricans closely. activate a tracking drone to make sure we don't get any nasty surprises. if these guys turn out being hostile this may just turn out to be a trap" he said. the captain nodded, and hit a buton on the control panel. a small part of the nose of the Frigate slided upwards slightly, a tiny tube revealed, a small, multi-limbed machine being released, it's mechanical tentacle-like limbs moving around and swirling as a small jet in the base of the tentacles activated full thrust, the mouse-sized machine shooting towards the Marican ship, cloaking devices activated as it hovered to a stop near the hull, and used it's tentacle-like limbs to latch onto the hull silently, pulling itself tightly against the machine's hull and deactivating all systems apart from the small beacon aimed away from the Marican craft, directed at the Vardian Galactic Frigate, informing them of the ship's location...

In the bridge of the ship, the main command screen lit up, a window on it slideing out and the image zooming up to a strange alien ship. The image pulsed a few times and then glowed red, two strips labeled "WARNING" running paraell along it as a 3d image of the ship appeared infront of the captain. The computer crowed "Unknown enemy ship design. All tracking and weapons set to automatic response." Automatic was the safest when dealing with aliens. Just incase their weaponary was enough to through the Marican crew into disarry, the ship would still retaliate on its own will. The captain cursed under his breath. He said "Launch a shuttle with the ground team, get a com line to the Aliens, standard protocal." The other officers got to work, a small bullet like shuttle blasting out of the fighter bay towards the planet beyond... A radio based message was sent to the Aliens reading "State Species and intentions immiediately or do not approach any closer." It was simple and to the point. talk if you want to talk. Leave if you dont.

The blueish man continued through the forest, the smell of death and of burning filling the air around him. The blast had torn the leaves off the trees, leaving them blackened and burnt. His son was constantly chirping "Aliens dad aliens! I told you they were real! We have found REAL aliens!" He clipped him over the head and said "Quiet boy... It was an meteor or something... not aliens... And unless we find something do NOT go telling people about this! Want to be thrown in the loony hospital?"

"Species: Human. Homo Sapien. Populant of the planet Vardia. Intentions: Space exploration, to find a new planet to populate and to find other races with which to form relations. Please state your intentions" responded Aragren. the concealed First Encounter Retaliation Armament weapon systems were ready to fire should the Maricans prove to be hostile. due to the fact that they acted like lasers through a lense, they required no weapon bays, instead seeming invisible until activated...

The captain considered the statement for a moment and then responded "This is a Marican Heavy pursuit ship. We intend to follow our buisness and then leave. No harm is planned against your ship." The message was sent and then one of his men shouted out "Sir! Koultian escape shuttle spotted! I think they are trying to lead our ground forces into a trap!" The captain quickly responded "Order the shuttle to proceed with caution. Do NOT alert the local populous to our presence, we need this to be as smooth as possible if we are going to take down the Koult...." The communications officer wheeled around in his chair, shouting "Enemy burst trasmission intercepted... Uncoded and within understandable limits..." The captain said "get the computer working on it, we don't have time to listen to it now..." He needed to watch the Koult shuttle like a hawk... If they went onto the planet. they would have to be hunted down and killed. If they surrendered, then he was honour bound to let them live....

The father and son hiked up the crater, coughing from the dust but eager to push on, shakeing with the excitement of possibley seeing an Alien Space ship. As they neared its lip, they caught their first sight of the mangled ships tail, sticking into the sky. Blue liquid sparkeling all over it. Blue flames lighting up the dark forest in other parts as the Koultian feul caught fire. The whole bottem hull of the ship had pancaked into the ground, debris all over the area, all animal life wiped out of the forest...

Wings suddenly folded out of the bullet like shuttle, a tail fin fanning out to catch the wind as it arced around over the LZ, scanning the area before the drop. They couldnt risk running into a Koultian ambush.

"Think of it this way General...this planet is the spring board that will allow us to continue our advance. Conquering new planets is a must soon however, we have more then one enemy and we need to ease the pressure on this base..." The Admiral replied.

"Ease the pressure?" replied Grievous. "The next Arachnid assault will not ease it; it will increase it, and cause all this expensive equipment to go to waste."

*static*, Lieutenant Vulkar, the Admiral needs you on the bridge ASAP. Over. Auron strechted his arms while laying back on his bunk. He rolled over and stood out of the bed and put on his pilots jacket, as he walked out the steel doors of his room. He let out a slight yawn as he turned down the hall and headed for the bridge.

Aragren nodded in satisfaction as he heard the words come over the radio-link. "Orders, sir?" said the Captain. "Remain stationary for now. Activate the Auto Targetting and Retaliation systems. we don't want a nervous soldier to slip and blow a chunk out of that ship". "Sir, they've already announced they don't intend to attack" said the Captain. "Just because they said it doesn't mean it's true. the naive die fast. especially when we're facing a scale such as this. I'll assume they're telling the truth, but we won't deactivate the weapons systems yet. the weapons we're using now are concealed. as far as they're conscerned, we're just floating in space, possibly waiting for them to open an entrance for a representative to go across to build relations between their faction and ours. if they DO decide to turn on us, we'll bring out the rest of our weaponry. if all goes well, we'll re-establish contact with them as soon as their business here is finished, and head for their capital as a diplomatic ship. I am, in a way, an Ambassador for Vardia after all, not to mention the Swift Transportation Gate on board. perhaps our Minister of Foreign Relations would like to make a visit personally". The Captain nodded, and gave the order to shut down the engines and remain stationary. Kage remained silent for now, but the crew weren't looking forward to the moment Aragren left...

The chestburster had jus shed it's first skin and would wait another hour before shedding again. The queen had known that this would happen as she had not only seen it, but it had happened to her while she had been young. two of her praetorians were going off on a hunt to satisfy their hunger and while they were at it, search for potential hosts.

"General...we have an entire empire to back up these conquest besides...if we are suppose to be allies, I insit that instead of doubting our efforts, we'll focus on this base's defenses.." The Grand Admiral replied.

Revan appeared back at the main bridge, flanked by several ARC Troopers arms folded as he looked towards his Grand Admiral who bowed. The Dark Lord of the Sith was now back at the helm of the Annihilator..

"My Lord, the Brawl is armed and ready for combat along with the Reaper, the Imperial Star Destroyers, most of them are Class II and we've applied the nukes to most of our vessels. Turrents and ray shields are installed in every ship and ground forces have gained the power for the plantary shield and defenses are popping up like crazy...a attack on the surface will be almost sucidial.." The Commander gladly responded as he bowed and showed Revan the papers..

Grievous rolled his eyes. "You don't know what you're dealing with, do you? These Arachnids will not, and I mean NOT EVER stop until this planet is either inhabitable or they take it. But if you insist on defending it, I'm afraid I must leave, for now. I cannot risk my troops, droids or not, when my army is just beginning to grow."

"General..." Revan replied as the Grand Looked at the Dark Lord of the Sith as he stepped towards his usual spot...his signature arms folded poise.

"Then what general? give up, surrender the planet and this area...I dont have any other options. General if your giving up one planet you'll find yourselves giving up more and more. You need a place where you can fall back too...this is our space. We fall back and abandon it, they might have a chance towards the outskirts of our empire. You dont have any other place to go General" Revan responded with his answer...

"I happen to have two planets to fall back to in a completely different galaxy," replied Grievous. "Until my army has grown more, I cannot help you against the Arachnid scourge. There will be too many for my troops to handle, even with your help. However, if you were to build a droid foundry on the planet and help me get my army growing before the month is up, I'll stay."

"My Lord....droids are produced faster then our Clone Troopers but in the clone wars we were suppose to be better. While our 501st men which is directly under your control and the best men we have since its not exactl a Legion but an entire army of its own. In other words we have elite troops already for our other legions but its not easy to just pop them out of the ground" The Grand Admiral insited.

Revan thought for a moment before he went with his response. "General are you confident enough that your droid factory we'll aid in the defenses in the area?"
