Frank was organizing his forces, the reinforcements arriving finally from the closest planets under his control. They had more firepower now more then ever, but weren't focussed on attacking their previous enemies, only ready to slaughter them if they got anywhere near the planet again. A few of the massive ships now orbitting the planet had front laser cannons powerful enough to cut a flagship in half, aswell as carried RAVENs and jets. For now, they would hold their positions incase the enemy was foolish enough to come back...

The TGDA army was rapidly swelling its ranks with all manner of droids, from miniscule Buzz Droids to the colossal Annihilator. Grievous watched his forces grow, pleased that at least something was going right...

The Council had been discussing with Kepe already on what to do. It had gone on long enough. One of the females spoke up.
"Indeed we are concerned that the Flood may have fled these other creatures make our days turn into endless nights of dread. That is why we need someone....a new...hero..." She said.
"Hero? Do you not have the Arbiter?" Asked Kepe. If anything, that was the Arbiter's job. Not his. A male Councilor shook his head.
"The Arbiter is off with one of our fleets in search of making peace with other races across our galaxies. He cannot be summoned back here. We need a new representative for our race, one who will be called upon aside from the Arbiter in our times of need. I'm not necessarily stating a new Arbiter. With the Prophets off our backs we can focus on a new kind of future." Said the Male before turning behind him and nodding. Two Honor Guards then walked over to a control panel and activated the controls. There was the sound of something moving and then came a floating capsule, it was quite large. Immediately it opened it's hatch in front of Kepe and the Council and in front of him was an Armour. It was of Combat permuatation design but it was different to any other armour Kepe had seen. It was Sage with Gold rings along the knee and arm pads. However what was on the armour was forerunner glyphs that spoke of powerful words. Kepe was amazed and felt as if a powerful force was trying to get him to put the armour on. He looked at his golden armour and then back at the new armour. One Councilor spoke up.
"This armour is for you. But you must complete something for us first." He said. Kepe suddenly knew that this was what the Council was getting towards. Annoyance was now filling him that he could not obtain his prize but still he drew back the annoyance and brought back patience to keep his cool. He prepared to listen...

Serephir grinned. "Very interesting. well, i'm sure that the Ministry of Science and Knowledge would be willing to buy the creature from you, and probably even pay for the repairs. for now, the dock workers will help with the transportation" he said, as he hit a button on the display on his small computer, before moving his hand away as the computer closed, a small glow coming from the screen as it closed into the arm guard, the light seemingly sealing it, the line marking the gap between it and the surrounding alloy guards disappearing, seeming to melt into the armour. meanwhile, the dock hands around him moved a bit further behind Serephir with what looked like a large black metal rod, putting it on the ground as one of them put a laptop-like console on the ground and began entering commands via the touch-screen. "What planet do you hail, brother?" asked Serephir as he looked at the craft, which, from what the numerous travellers had taught him, was of Marican origin...

"Foreign space craft approaching. should we engage?" came a female voice over speakers on the Captain's platform. "Not yet. let them be for now. prepare to activate energy shields on my command" said Aragren. "Yes sir" responded the female voice as a command was put through the Frigate's computers. the voice was that of the main super computer, which, until recently, had been out of order, the result of which was needing to do everything manually. repairs having finally been done on it by the Frigate's Electronics Engineers, the super computer was ready to take a load of work off the captain and crew. "Finally everything's back in working order" said the Captain, releaved as he sat back in his chair...

The Three Koult cruisers split up, slowing down and releaseing small bomb like devices. The Cruisers begun slowing to a halt, surrounding the Alien ship. The small devices floated around, forming a small sphere aroung the ship. A radio link connected itself to the Aliens, a growling Koultian tone comeing through "This is intercept officer, Travair. Before being granted entry to Ka'roll your ship shall be searched. We will use force if nescesary. If you attempt to move, your ship shall be obliterated by the weapons currently surrounding you. Over."

Alex assumed the man was talking to him. He replied "I come from where ever it is convinent to come from at any given time. Be that within Planetary rule or waste land." He glanced back to see a mercenary outside the ship on a magnetic lift attached to the side of the ship. He could only see the bottem of the lift but he assumed it was on the other side of the ship, attempting to remove the alien spore. The Cargo bay doors on the roof were open aswell, another merc walking along the roof. It seemed they had decided to begin unloading the goods and repairing the ship without him.

Thousands of miles from any planet or any living creature, an eliptical object glided through space, like a squashed rugby ball on its side with fins on the stub from its back. It hovered over to a rocky asteroid, its jets calming down as two triple jointed legs fell down from under it, the clawed feat locking onto the rock. there was a small flat panel with a long red visor line across it, the machines head... It glanced around like a bird examineing its surroundings. Both the fins on its back and its wings slid back up vertically. one of its arms looked more like a vacum cleaner, a long tenticle like arm with a blocky fist with three tentrid like claws at the end, a small circular hatch in its plam. Its other arm was just a huge rectangle with a stubby cannon on the top. Infact, it didn't look all that dangerous. One would wonder why such a craft was out here on Hells Belt. The largest and most deadly asteroid belt in the system. Nothing of any use was out here besides minerals, and they were too hard to get. The Rocks of the belt constantly slammed together preventing any sort of opperation takeing place.

Two other Asteroids flew foreward, blue jets propelling them foreward. They stopped near to the first machine, two claw like arms folding out from the sides and two stalks poping up near the front. Two legs hung out from the bottem, catching onto asteroids just small enough to be their own size and hanging in position. The first one turned its head towards a giant asteroid in the distance, infact, it was now standing on what would be considered a pebble that fell off this larger asteriod. No one knew it was here... For it was the Cypher. one of the most specilised combat Super Drones in existence amongst the Marican forces. Its stubby cannon started extending foreward, panels clipping off the large rectangle to add to its length. It kept going untill a long, crane like cannon had replaced it, different sections of the cannon rotateing around with blue energy glowing from within. Blue light started shineing out of the base of the cannon and slowly spiraling along the length of the barrel, when it reached the top of the gun, it started to form a small blue ball. Tiny particles from around it seemed to thwack into it, flashing as they did so and adding to the ball. Three small aiming lasers poped out of the barrels sides, their rays fadeing away a few meters beyond the giant cannon. Its aim was adjusted slowly... The Cyphers hud showing a small green line to represent its aim, a small clock ticking down on the side of its view screen, counting down to launch. A seperate window poped up, showing the entire system below it and different trajectories among the various objects. The timer reached zero. As it did so, the massive cannon recoiled backwards blasting the small blue ball into Space with increidible force. It left a trail of blue rings around its path. It winked away into the blackness towards the giant asteroid, dissappearing against its shape. There was a loud, echoing thud which tore through the asteriod field, a wave of of blue light rippleing away from the Asteroid. The entire thing shifted, being knocked slightly off course by the power of the pulse bullet. Smaller pulse bullets winked away in the distance, colideing with small asteroids and sending them into the large one, each one shifting its course every so slightly. The two asteroid like Ambusher Drones by the Cypher's sides turned to face their targets, the rocky surface of their chests slideing apart to show a dish like weapon, bright blue energy glowing from them. They both fired, the small pulse bullets zipping away and hitting their asigned asteroids. Adding them to the pushing force....

A small message poped up on the Cyphers screen "Stage 1 completed to plan. Proceeding to link up with foreward advance party and onto Stage 2"
The ships legs retracted, its wings folding back down, the Ambushers to its sides doing the same. In unison their jets ignighted, sending the large ships away from the asteroid belt, other Drones in the distance leaving the belt to join them.
The mysterious ways of the Maricans and their weapons could only be understood under the effects of time...

"Sir. do we comply?" came the voice of the super computer. "It's a standard check. they do it to all newcomers to the planet. security reasons. it's best to just let'em search" said Kage, satisfied that he was now in a position of expertise and knowledge that very few other crew members shared. "Very well. however, men, keep your firearms at your sides, but do not draw them unless they do attempt to attack". the crew gave a salute to Aragren and returned to their posts. "Computer, open entrances" said Aragren. the super computer complied, opening the entrances to the craft, allowing access to the massive airlocks around the ship, large, previously hidden entrances appearing in the streamlined hull of the Frigate. "Access Granted, Interception craft. feel free to enter" came Aragren's voice over the radio...

"Amusing way to avoid a direct answer. your choice" said Serephir, before walking towards the craft, saying "Would you care to show me this Alien of yours?"...

"...Kepe, basically we want to find out where the Arachnids live and where the large Lizard Aliens (Xenos) first came from. The Flood as we know are unknown to where they first came from. They must be eradicated and destroyed. The Flood is just as big a threat as them and for all we know a Gravemind is likely to have escaped on the Cruiser. If you do see it, give chase, shoot it down before it settles on another planet or it will consume all life there within a month most likely. Remember: One single Flood Spore can destroy a species. If there are survivors and friendly then by all means rescue them. If not then you are free to take them as prisoners." Continued the Councilor.
"What of the Imperial Admiral?" Asked Kepe.
"Admiral Zark is...having problems. But do not worry we will receive report when he gets back to us. For now one of his Supreme Commanders will be in his place. He is already aware of the mission and has agreed to assist. But considering you were the one who experienced this event, we wanted the account from you. If you discover the planets then learn what you can and then feel free to glass them. The last thing we want is 3 different demonic races making home on our homeworld." Replied the female councilor.
"I understand Council. It shall be done."
Kepe then saluted before turning around and exiting through the hall...

6 pods blasted out of the lead Cruiser gravefully. Each pod split into four as they neared the ships surface, a Koultian within each one, suited up completely in black armour. They clanked heavily onto the ships surface, sticking to it. The pods four sections extending out of the Koultians back like a flower. The sections folded back over one, aiming down the Wolf like creatures back. They proceeded along the surface of the ship to one of the openings, swinging into them with the aid of jumpjets and waiting for the airlock to do its work...

Alex said calmly "As you wish... Dave, come with me. Bell, Stay here and find out the possibilites of upgradeing the communications console..." He turned and walked back towards the ship, a merc suited in green following him wordlessly...

as soon as the Koultians were in, the airlocks' massive doors closed, the loud mechanical hiss of hydraulics and pressurised air containers marking the end of the pressure equalising process, the other set of doors opening allowing access to the ship. the Ambassador stood on the captain's platform, Aragren standing guard...

Serephir crossed his arms as he walked behind the Trader, waiting to see what this Alien of theirs looked like...

The Koultian suits flashed with green light for a moment before settling back to normal jet black. The 6 creatures strode out of the airlock into the corridor beyond. Walking straight foreward for the door ahead. The squad leader glanced at a gattleing gun on the roof, marking it as a threat object on his hud. It would be highlighted on his whole teams interface's now.... The door slid open infrotn of him and he walked in confidently, gray tail swishing in behind him. His blue visor slid open, revealing his yellow feral eyes and gray fur. He growled commandingly "Who is the captain?!" Glanceing around at all the humans within the room...

Alex rounded the ship, looking up to see an Merc in orange armour, attaching objects to the side of the Spore and the ship. Martain called up "Gordan, what are you doing?" The Merc turned around and shouted "Were gona try blast it off. Made a small hole in the seal and Johnny has the room depressurised..." The mouldy greenish blue spore was firmly welded onto the side of the ship, looking like a dimple sticking out of it...

The Captain stepped forward, saying "I would preffer being addressed properly aboard my own ship. still, seeing as you're most likely expecting us to be a threat, i'll ignore that for now. now i take it you want to investigate and search the ship for possible threats?"...

"Blast it off? you sure it won't be killed in the process?" said Serephir with a hint of worry in his voice. the Ministary of Knowledge wouldn't be too happy to find out their chance at getting ahold of an unusual life form was lost to explosives...

Martain glanced back at the Vardian and said "I'm not sure if it can even die. Its like an organic ship. It droped off a live alien into our ship, the thing nearly bit one of my men in half... Henve why I imagine it would be of use to you." Gordan ducked down below the spore and there was a loud thud, the Spore jumping slightly, its grip broken by the sudden rush of air trying to escape the room. Gordan tapped the side of the spore, it wobbeled on the two hooks he had attached to it. He shouted "Nice job Johnny! its off!" Johhnys voice came from within the ship, hearble through the hole in the hull "Oh Shi*.... I forgot to close up the tool box, there are spanners everywhere in here..." Gordan tapped a few keys on a panel next to him and the lift started lowering him towards the ground, The spore resting next to him...

The Koult squad leader looked up and grunted "Damn right, Human. First of all though, we want to know more about YOU. How are those beaucratic bast**ds on Maricas doing?" His eyes were narrowed with distrust. Many Koultians regarded the Maricans as equals, freindly rivals. Not this one. He hated them with a passion because what they had done...

"Maricans? well, apart from a ship we went past on our way here, we haven't had much contact with the Maricans. the only way we truly even deal with them is via nomadic Traders of Marican origin" responded Xanders, rather annoyed by the Koultian's attitude towards him...

"Well, you can expect a representative of the Ministry of Knowledge to arrive soon. they expressed a large amount of interest in the spore" said Serephir as he looked at it, giving a quick glance at the small computer on his arm, which had once again opened, a message on it from the ministry of Knowledge...

The squad leader grunted "I have trouble believing that. Forgive me for regarding your race as the scum of the universe..." The other warriors still had their visors up, keeping the weapons lowered.

"Believe what you will. that's the truth" said Xun. he waved a hand to Aragren and said "This is my superior aboard this ship. High Commander Aragren of the VAMCEB, more formally known as the VArdian Military Conflict Elimination Brigade. he was placed in command of this vessel by King Aleron, Ruler of Vardia. i think all further communication would best be done with him rather than myself". Aragren nodded slightly to the Koultians, his arms crossed as he stood watching...

The Koultian turned towards the man and growled "Hello, commander. Before my comrades search this ship, I want proof of your words. Beleive me when I say that I do not trust humans at all... I have seen too much of the Maricans work to ever hand out trust easily..."

Everything was normal on Shadow Haven, with the exception of the fleet orbiting the planet. Repairs had started, and they were still ready for anything the enemy could throw at them. Frank was talking with the rest of Dead Cell, planning their next plan of action.

Aragren thought for a moment, then realised what he could use as proof. "I'll bet Maricans can't do this" he said as he pulled off a leather glove, holding his right palm to his arm guard. immediately a yellow bar of light shone through the armour and scanned his arm, before opening up to reveal a complicated computer system. he showed the Koultian his hand, giving them a good long look at it, showing a glowing, bright blue, complicated runenic pattern, in the shape of a triangle, pointing upwards towards his fingers, 3 crescent moons curved outwards of the triangle, the entire form surrounded by a ring, a red circle in the center, a swirling triangular pattern in the center, two crossed swords in the center; the symbol of the VAMCEB. "The light blue part is the Vardian flag. where the red circle is, there's usually an empty circle. the Red Circle is the mark of the VAMCEB. the Elite Infantry of the Vardian Armed forces, of which i'm a high ranking Commander, second to only one" said Aragren calmly, closing his palm, reopening it to reveal the symbol had disappeared...
