"Like I said, if I had some coordinates, I might be able to tell you," said Arqueek.

Lord Tsk'kala, we are detecting a ship on our monitors, humanoid, a crackling voice spoke. Excellent, charge particle and ion cannons, prepare to drop out of warp space. High commander Vist'rak prepare your attack squadrons. The alien electrical voice spoke. Yes Lord Tsk'kala. The commander turned and walked off to the launching bay.

Thara hummed to himself and growled "Not sure... Its a pretty common ship design... Who ever they are, they are utterly screwed... That drone's weapons look ready to dice it...

The drone's voice filled the envoys ship once again "[i]It depends on how useful you are to Maricas and how much trust you earn from us. Contact the Kimrav republic if you want your freedom. If you chose to remain as you are. Surrvalience should last a total of 2000 years. After this point, Marican surrvalience will cease.

Most Skaven would have made an uproar at this, only living 20 years, but Gnawdwell,a s well as most of the Clan leaders, were capable of living significantly longer thanks to the mutagenic effects of Warpstone. "Of course..."

Serephir looked at the projection, saying "Computer. could you sound out the coordinates of the craft for me?". the Computer then began to sound out the coordinates of the craft, which was apparently communicating with one of the Drones, judging by the relatively close proximity of the two vessels...

After reading the coordinates for a moment, he rolled his eyes. "What an embarrassment for my kind..." he growled.

"Skavens?" said Serephir in mid surprise. "What do you suppose is going on?" he asked as he crossed his arms...

The drone ended with "You have made a wise decision. Ground forces will remain in stasis and will be activated if this agreement is breeched in anyway." The Drone shot backwards, its jets takeing it into a spin before retreating to join up with the other ships...

After this, Climetrix and the ambushers over Skav turned out, flying back towards the main marican forces, their weapons powering off... Martain was flying back towards his ship within his shuttle... nightraid having found his own aswell... however, the graboids were still on Skav...

"Some dumb attack on Maricas," replied Arqueek. "Most Skaven are notorious for being foul-tempered and liking to take their anger out on other planets."

The Graboids, meanwhile, were busily hunting, mostly eating smaller animals. The Skaven were too risky a proposition.

Serephir nodded. "So what say we give your home planet a visit? i need some connections there anyway" he said with a shrug...

Arqueek shook his head quickly. "Oh no, we do not want to make connections with Skav. They'll act hospitable at first, but it won't take long for them to stab us in the back."

Thara shook his head and growled "If the Maricans have just attacked them, chances are the entire population has been replaced by man thrashing machines... Half of the time they just dump a bunch of drones onto the surface and then go home..."

"Stab us in the back, eh?" said Serephir. "Well i hope you have some reliable contacts there that i can call upon on the future to help me out of a fix. my main goal on this voyage is to make ties with every race in the galaxy, or at least the majority. so that, should anything happen in the future, i can call upon them for assistance, be it information or other things" he added...

"Well, if we could gain their trust, their help would be very appreciated," replied Arqueek. "Our weapons are effective, if not very pretty."

"So we DO go in for a visit?" asked Serephir, wishing the Skaven would make up his mind...

"It's risky..." Arqueek twitched his whiskers thoughtfully. "Maybe if we disguise ourselves as Maricans, they'll be more willing to be friendly."

Thara grunted "Well that has to be the worst Idea I have heard all day... I say we either avoid them or just go down to say yo."

"Unfortunately, we don't have anything we could call 'Marican' aboard this ship. apart from this Galactic map i bought from a Marican trader a while ago" said Serephir as he pulled a a small black disk from his pocket, pressing it from the side, a small map of the galaxy being projected from it's center. he closed it and placed it in his pocket, before continuing. "Not to mention this trip is to develop Vardian ties with other planets. not Marican"...

Arqueek crossed his arms. "Then avoiding them is probably the best idea. Skaven can be pretty nasty to travelers they don't like."

"You think they'll judge us that fast? without even getting to know us?" said Serephir thoughtfully, the Endeavour floating freely in space...
