The Sangheili and Imperials were fighting onward, holding quite well considering what the Arachnids had try to do to them. The ground forces were still in a huge amount, the Sangheili having lost about 3 Billion soldiers, their military was strong as was the Imperial Army. They were already planning out helpful ways of dealing with groups of Arachnids. Though the Arachnids were indeed a mighty force, they were no match to plasma and laser weaponry from afar. Not to mention the Arachnids had to remove themselves out of the pods in which they were easy cannon fodder to easy bombardments from Banshees and then Spectres could easily drive around them doing hit and runs. Mhpe Aenur was leading one of the main attack forces with several commanders at her disposal with troops of their own...

"Oh yeah," said Arqueek. "Especially after what's going on here. If the Skaven are getting retribution for something, we don't want to stay and ask them."

The Arachnids were mostly hidden underground, and the spores had stopped dropping. However, Sangeheilios was in ruin. Many of its pristine cities were wrecked, and much of the population had been severely depleted. It may not have been a true Arachnid victory, but the Sangheili body count seemed to say otherwise.

Despite heavy losses...Kaine only hoped all of the lost ships and men was worth it. He knew if this was a complete failure...Revan would have his head. Even did not even know if the Dark Lord himself knew off his own personal assualt. He denied Admiral Harper's orders of staying within the blockaide.

Harper himself could have just ratted Kaine out Harper also knew that if he did...Revan would kill him as well for not stopping Kaine at all costs. Still...with the vast Galactic Empire, Revan would eventually rebuild the ships and more and his numerous cloning stations and high developments in technology would produce better Clone Soldiers and their training would much quicker.

While the Space War was having its ups and down, the ground was also having its ups and downs considering that they needed to prehaps nuke the tunnels...Broadside Cruisers and Tartans however remained a major threat to the Space Bugs due to their laser guided high powered concussion missles and their numerous rapid firing laser cannons. And even if the TIE's werent truely effective, the combined fire power from the fighters proved to be deadly..

While the space battle wasn't going well in the Arachnids' favor, it hardly mattered. They could always send in more troops, but it wasn't necessary. Though they didn't manage to capture the planet, they had done their job: show the other beings of the world not to just mistake them for simple bugs. The Arachnids were vicious, heartless, sometimes mindless predatory beasts, and all they wanted was more planets, and more food.

Though the total Sangheili population, that including the military was around 5 Billion, it was still a more than suitable amount to reproduce. When the last Arachnid had been eradicated, the Elites roared in victory. Filling their bellows and mournings in a huge chorus that filled across Sanghelios. Though most of their cities were gone, they could easily rebuild. The Sangheili were proud warriors to have forerunner technology at their disposal, it would take a long time, but they would rebuild and recover...

"Sir, all Arachnids have been eradicated, those that are alive are in space but are easily being dealt with." Said a Major to Kepe at the controls.
"Excellant, now we must-"
Suddenly a voice came over the comm.
"This is the Council of the Sangheili. Commander Kepe, we request to see you immediately. That along with Admiral Kane of the Imperial Army." Said a voice that definately sounded like one of the Council...

The Field General heard what was going on, one more he sent a transmission back to the Reaper.

"Hey Kaine...you better get a shuttle ready and head for the surface. Your wanted by their council. If you get this alliance fine and all..Revan wont get your head.." The Field General replied. Kaine nodded.

Kaine headed for the shuttle..

"Sir, the council is onboard our ship."
Kepe went silent for a moment.
"I will meet them in the brig. Have the Ship Master watch over the deck until I return. I need to see to this." He replied before getting off his throne and then walking off to the Brig...

Kaine was flanked by several ARC Troopers...just to make things safe. The shuttle he was on headed on towards the Kepe's flagship. This was going to be quite interesting. Heading for the hanger..they sent a transmission towards the flagship..asking permission to come aboard. This was getting a big nerve racking..

Thara was thinking... he hissed "Well, if we do go down there... I've always found that a pocket full of cash is the best route to freindship." He glanced at Arqueek and asked "Do you guys use the KDR or do you have a local currency?"

An Imperial Officer gasped for air as he struggled in the air, his body just a few feet off the ground, both of his hands around his throat trying to grip an invisible hand that seemingly was chocking him. A loud brutal crunch was heard as the officer dropped dead, his throat shattered. Revan lowered his hand...

The useless officer was another that had to die. Only know was he aware of Admiral Kaine's decision. That officer who was assigned to the Imperial Class Star Destroyer, the "Accuser" came aboard to inform him personally as what rumor that spreaded through the Imperial Ranks became fact. A secret transmission reached the Accuer and the information there stayed for some time before it spreaded.

The officer was brought ovet to be executed...

"Your apology is accepted captain.." Revan spoke as the nearby Clone Troopers went over and began to drag the body away. Revan faced back towards the main window as a holographic map showed up.

Using the data on what the Executor Class Star Dreadnought showed...Revan eyed the planet and the forces above. They had fought the Elite homeworld but by the looks of it..there was many uneeded losses from a foe who was considered just a bug. All of this was for a simple captured Field General? no..Revan knew Kaine well. Kaine respected the Elites and wished to forge an alliance between the two..

Despite Kaine's cold exterior..he does care for his men and all who serve under his command..this is why he wished to make the alliance in his attempt to lessen the deaths of Imperial men.

Immediately Kaine's ship was allowed access into their ship as a shield lowered into a hangar bay for them to fly into as it was guarded by Ranger Elites armed with Plasma Rifles, Covenant Carbines and several Plasma Turrets lined up the Hangar bay which could easily shoot down the ship if it tried any smart ideas...

Kepe was guarded by his best Major along with several Minor Elites armed with Covenant Carbines and his Major held a Plasma Rifle and Energy Sword. With them was the Field General, kept easily in sight...

Kepe and his Elites arrived in the conference brig where a round circular table sat, it was very wide and nearly covered the whole room in a fine purple colour and hexagonal shape with pink lines going to each edge. Here, they saw the Council Elites sitting around in seats that weren't like Gravity chairs. Kepe then went over the comm to tell two of his Elites to escort the Admiral here...

Kaine walked out, he expected it would be like this. He would have done the same had the Elites come to their ship. The Arc Troopers looked around, they had no intention on fighting back, they just followed orders. But could they trust the elites? for a moment it seemed like that but for now they looked towards the Elites they seemed to be awaiting for them.

"I'm assuming your our guides.." Kaine asked.
