"Nice comeback, Bobby," replied Lazo. "Next thing you know, you'll be stealing my title of 'Supreme Ruler of Bad Jokes.'" He looked outside the bay again, seeing the forest grow more sparse, indicating more civilized areas. "Looks like we're finally here. I see no bug people, however..."

Bobby sighed in relief, "Thank god..." Sanders grinned, "Whats's da matter? Can't handle the flame?" Bobby grabbed his ODST helmet, and put it on, "I'm too tired for this ****." Bates gazed out towards the horizon, "Well, rise n' shine sweet-heart, we gonna meet up with the boss soon."
"Ooh! The big-bad boss, I'm so afraid. You know what, **** him, he can suck my ****," added Bobby. "I'm sure you'd enjoy that sort of thing, eh Bobby?" said Sanders as she reached for her ODST helmet.

"I dare you to say that straight to his face, Bobby," added Lazo, as the Pelican descended, heading for the landing pad of a decent-sized UNSC military outpost. As its landed with a slight bump, Lazo stepped off the ramp and onto the landing pad, stretching his arms above his head. "Finally, solid ground! I hate dropship rides..."

Bates walked down the ramp, as the other pelicans began to land, their buzzes echoeing in the distance, Bobby and Sanders following behind him. "I would Lazo, but the horrid truth is that I ain't got the balls to do it."
"Finally, something we can agree on..." added Sanders. Bates halted af he stepped off the ramp, "Now, I wan't both of you to shut the hell up! You got it? No more of your stupid areguments, and show some respect for the Lieutenant!" he commanded, shutting the two ODST's up.

The ODST's walked along the landing pad, and headed for the base, were they were greeted by a man in a gray suit, "Sergeant Bates," he said. "Lieutenant Sullivan," responded Bates.
"Welcome to Conga."
"Thank you sir."
"I'm sure that you and your men will enjoy your stay," said the Lt, now escorting the shock-troopers into the UNSC base.
"I'm sure we will," replied Bates.

Lazo leaned over to Sanders and whispered, "What's with his suit? I feel underdressed." He looked around while speaking, noticing with some surprise that the base seemed rather understaffed, as far as he could tell. That explains why we came here... he thought.

The gigantic 501st Armada appeared to moving through what appeared to be a massive debris field. At the head lay the gigantic Executor Star Dreadnought..the Annihilator which was leading a massive ammount of Imperial Class II Star Destroyers along with multiple new, advanced smaller Star Dreadnoughts but they established themselves much larger then the regular yet powerful Imperial Star Destroyer.

"This demonstration proved the power of the Empire..all we must do is wipe out our enemies with it.." One of the Grand Admiral's watched what was going on, thanks to a giant view window. The group of Grand Admiral's now had what they believed..the ultimate power in the universe.

"What's our next course?" Another Admiral asked. "Who knows.." stated another Admiral. "However, Revan and Piett had returned to the flagship, I dont see why..but it doesnt matter, any enemies against us our inferior" He continued.

Serephir was sitting in his quarters on the Endeavour as Jarmun and Jarad did the final checks on the ship's status, fuel, supplies, munitions and various generators. Xander and Alex were in the Rec Room bowling now that there were no other jobs for them at the moment, Serephir having already taken care of everything. Blaze was laying down on his bed, eyes closed, thinking over his situation. he had come to enjoy life outside the Vardian Army. life as a traveller was interesting, and he had found pleasure in seeing what else existed in the galaxy. he made a mental note to resign from the Army in return for a job as an explorer on Vardia's behalf. thinking it over, it was a good deal for both sides. he could explore as much as he wanted, and Vardia would get more in depth info on what was out there in space. he eventually fell asleep from the exhaustion of the earlier events, the dreams of a 'privateer' still on his mind...

Arqueek, also in the Endeavour, was leading Chardossk around the ship, on a personal tour, showing him where everything was, and answering any questions the Trandoshan Lieutenant asked. Chardossk seemed very excited to be touring the ship, which didn't bother Arqueek at all, despite a weird feeling in the back of his mind. He brushed it off, finding it annoyingly distracting.

Rtas arrived at the bridge, saying, "Prepare to make a Slipspace jump. We are leaving this system, unless we are needed." He repeated this order to the intership COM, and they prepared to jump. However, Rtas was interrupted by a message from one of his fellow ships. "This is the Glorious Light. We are heavily damaged from the fight with the large beast from before. We will follow when we get the chance." "Very well, Ship Master. Follow these coordinates when you are repaired."

"Oh come on, bossman, what could possibly go wrong?" asked Jak, who stood next to Ship Master Fu'yadar on the bridge. Jak had always been Fu'yadar's closest accomplice, but was also a sneaky, conniving jerk to pretty much everyone else. The only one he was loyal to was the Ship Master, and even that was a wavering loyalty at best. The tall, muscular Kig-Yar tapped his armored boot on the bridge's deck as he waited for a response, his face hidden by his Spiker helmet's reflective visor...

"Captain Serephir, Vardian High Command have requested your presence in the Control Room for a meeting" came the Computer's voice through the speakers in his room. Serephir sighed, and got up from his seat, walking out of the his quarters and heading for the control room...

The gigantic 501st Armada continued to move through space, staying right at the border of Imperial Space. The outerim had long since been surpassed and now these new territores continue to provide a rather interesting view of things. Imperial bases that have been damaged had begun repair with another state of peace. No attacks from their enemies allowed this while plans to take out Grevious was still going on. However..it was about time a plan was made, the timing and exeucution however had to be perfect.

"Bases we've long since burnt and decimated are under going terraforming projects. Thats good..in a sense. Rebuilding however is proceeding much faster and the massive space stations are housing numerous ships. We have much more sufficiant defenses. Probes havent encountered anything.." The black clothed Imperial Officer stated, his hands folded behind him.

"Good, you are dismissed" The Grand Admiral stated. The Imperial Commander bowed and proceeded to leave. Piett turned around and looked at the hologram of a dark armored figure..it was no doubt on who it was.

"Things are too quiet..I want more probes sent out. There is more fractions out there..I know it" Revan stated. His hologram disappeared as the Grand Admiral nodded. Revan once more was away from the main flagship..for now at the moment but even if he wasnt there, he had his trusted officers to do what is required.

Fu'yadar sneared, "Something doesn't feel right... there are reasons the Covenant Naval Intelligence keeps things secret, and we have a rampant AI landing us on one of them." The agricultural support ship entered the atmosphere of X-37, it's eerie geography easily noticed. Fu'yadar continued, "The Covenant has hidden many things from the common soldier... the existance of the Flood, the truth of the human race, everything. Nothing but conspiracy after conspiracy... and my ship is being used as a toy for the very AI that swore to abide my word. Not only do I feel powerless-" he said, turning away from the sight of X-37, "I feel disgraced, and dishonoured, tossed to the side as a small homeless child, who's of no importance to anyone." At the words of this, Zefuse appeared before the ship master, "You shouldn't judge me until you get the full story..." said the AI, "We are here for more reasons than just repairing engines." The Kig-yar cringed, "Why do you torment me? What is it you mean? Why are we here?" Zefuse chuckled, and turned to face the moist atomsphere of the unexplored world, "As you said, the Covenant keeps secrets... many secrets. If they were to find us here, we would be killed... for saftey reasons."
"What do you mean- saftey reasons?"
"In due time... Ship Master- In due time."

Jak crossed his armored arms. "I ain't waitin' around for you to land us on some Prophet-forsaken rock in the middle of nowhere, ESPECIALLY if it'll get us killed! Ship Master, I think you should just unplug the b******."

Zefuse laughed, "Your foul-mouthed companion needs to learn his place. The billions of Coveannt records, all in my control... I could easily delete you from existance, or label you a fugitive... I'd watch what you say." The AI, turned it's head to Fu'yadar, and immediatly disappered.

A hooded figure entered a small shop, which had one other customer already browsing its products, which included various insects, meat, and fish, all marked as food. The figure walked over to the counter, standing behind the other customer, who was-surprisingly-purchasing some of the merchandise. "I hope you enjoy your food, good sir..." a voice croaked behind the counter, the customer heading out of the shop, revealing a scaled figure fiddling with the money it had received, only its scaled back visible. The hooded figure cleared his throat, a resulting thud coming from below the counter, the creature standing up straight, rubbing his head. The creature's head was also scaled, its eyes bulging like a chameleon's, two large fins on either side of its head, having a slightly elongated mouth, which was filled with jagged teeth. "Damn it! ...Ahh, another customer! Two in one week, such luck!" the scaled creature croaked, staring at the hooded stranger, who's face was slightly visible from underneath the cloth hood, eyebrow raised in curiosity.

"Oh wait...You do not wish to browse my fine goods, yes? You are the one I spoke to before...You took your time getting here." the creature croaked, its smile growing. The figure lowered the hood, the horns around the crown of his head now fully visible. "Now I see why wear that outfit...Your kind is not well received among the populous. Please, tell me I am not dealing with a fugitive." the creature growled, narrowing its eyes slightly. "No...and I hope you learn from this not to make stereotypes effect your business. You're lucky I am the way I am, lizard..." Mal'Ganis said calmly, folding his arms. "Yes yes I am a bad person now. Lets get back to business...You wish to see the thing you seek?" the creature croaked, grinning once more. Mal'Ganis nodded, following the creature into the back of the shop, looking around the back room, which was filled with crates, except for a corner in the back, which held a desk and various amounts of paper. The creature gestured to a half open crate, throwing the top aside as he dug inside. A few moments later, he pulled out a pair of boots, grinning once more as he handed them to Mal'Ganis.

"Just as you asked. Durable, able to withstand bullets and weak lasers, though I wonder what kind of creature would aim at a person's feet." The creature growled, laughing. Mal'Ganis smiled half-heartedly, more interested in studying the boots. "The strength of the jets is as you asked; they will carry you around. There is no need for fuel...but these are not a substitute for an aircraft. They will overheat and melt before your eyes if you try to travel across a planet using them." the creature croaked, flicking the boots with a claw. Mal'Ganis nodded, placing the boots under his arm as he headed back out of the room, into the shop. "Thanks Az'Mati, these are exactly what I need. ...I won't ask how you obtained them, but thanks again." Mal'Ganis said, shaking the scaled creature's hand. "A method legal in some star systems, I assure you!" Az'Mati croaked, laughing loudly at his own joke, Mal'Ganis frowning at the comment, but didn't continue the discussion further, heading out of the shop...

"Understood" said Serephir as the Vardian High Command gave him salutes. he went for a microphone attached to the wall, connected to the speakers of the ship. "All personnel, please report to the Control room immediately" he said, before heading for a seat and waiting...

"The heck?" grumbled Alex as he loked up at one of the speakers, then looking at Xander, who merely shrugged. they both threw their last shots on the bowling lane, Xander having ended at a score of 279 and Alex with a score of 260, the two heading for the Control room. as they went, they spotted Blaze also heading there. "Hey Blaze...any idea what's going on?" asked Xander. "Not a clue. must be important if Serephir called us personally though...we've barely left the atmosphere and something's turned up" said Blaze, somewhat annoyed. "Eh...can't be too bad. Grievous' airspace is clear, we've got all kinds of military craft just outside Trandosha's atmosphere....can't be anything major" said Alex. Blaze just shrugged, continuing to head for the Control Room...

"The enemy that had attacked us were several unidentified ships, clearly not Grevious. Cloaking technology kept them hidden and we werent able to fully access the situation. Their firepower is immense but I doubt it matters..we still have them outgun and outnumber the opposition. Its just a matter that we dont intend on sacrificing massive amounts of ships. We cant engage them personally on the ground due to the fact that they would most likely get torn up on the way there and our history with a low success rate with the army in this system would just be another pointless gesture to take out Grevious" The Grand Admiral, Piett stated, next to him was a giant hologram of the battle of Geonosis. Ships were all over, firing at each other, small snub fighters engaging in dog fights. A typical space battle..

"We've already showed a proper demonstration. I implore we use it at once. I dont see why Revan is taking his sweet time..he's gonna regret it.." Another Grand Admiral responded. "Fleet Admiral Kaine has shown elite tactical skill and shows promise but regardless..it seems normal circumstances must be discarded and this new type of war must be played out"

"Agreed" A chorus of voice replying together. Time after time they kept planning, thinking..it was rather all pointless now. Something had to be done. With probes finding nothing and Revan returning..it seemed a final assault was going to play out.. Piett watched the gathering of Grand Admirals and it was only now he had no choice but to agree..
