The massive Croc continued to swim down through the river at a slow pace, relaxing as he looked for anything to drive off if they refused. He snarled lowly, looking around as he continued on the massive rivers. Up ahead, several animals were taking their drinks at this time of day. So far, the patrol was going fine. However usually there was always that older or confident young croc who simply thought they could bust their way through..it wasnt going to happen.

Night had, to her surprise, found an abandoned wolf pup after the male wolf had left. It was pure black, with dark amber-golden eyes. Its name had been revealed to be Lusa, and it had been eager to know when Night would be able to hunt. "Prey is scarce around here," Night had responded. "But I will go hunting soon." Now, she watched as Lusa crunched hungrily into a small hare, trying to decide what to do with the small pup.

Blood Scar continued swimming along until he decided to take a break considering had had done a good relaxing job. Nothing so far..the massive croc walked his way out of a bank as he continued on until his body was fully out of the water. There he waited..allowing the warn hot sun to heat him up while he rested and prepared for another patrol..

Azure eye was back in his terriotry now, eating an anaconda he had found while returning to his terriotry. He had eaten the flesh of the ceter of the snake and was starting to wokr upwards, towards the head. The neck of the snake was broken, one bite bringing it instant death.

Suddenly, a body slammed into Tyretros, the Hyena guard who was patrolling the immediate area biting and kicking the lion. Snarling, the maneless male kicked the crazed animal off of him, rolling to his paws as he stared at the advancing pack, his body low to the ground threateningly. One Hyena ran forward, Tyretros lashing out with a paw, scoring a hit down its front leg, causing it to fall in front of him. The maneless male latched onto his throat and tore it out, not wasting time in killing it, hoping the foolish death would scare the pack off...

Nightbane got up as the sun was going down, heading on through the jungle, heading further in, wondering what other creatures he'd come across as he delved deeper into the jungle...

Blood Scar looked aroumd, birds nearby flying over head and as much as he was concerned, there was nothing in the area besides him. He moved his tail around, splashing the water with his massive, heavy tail. He was almost done warming up and he did take a little rest and was ready to move out soon. He then thought about food for a moment, thinking when to eat and what to eat. The massive Croc continued to stay in its odd apperance, jaws wide open has his tail stopped moving. It was like as if he was sleeping...

"Listen, Lusa," Night growled. "I can't keep you. It's hard enough to find enough food to keep myself alive." Lusa looked up at the silver, black and white female in alarm. "You can't abandon me!" she yelped. "I don't have anywhere else to go!" "Well....that's your problem, isn't it?" Night growled, giving the pup a cold look.

As Nightbane walked on through the jungle, he could hear growls...an odd sounding growl. it resembled that of the Wild Dogs he'd grown up knowing on the plains...but different. it sounded like two from what he could make out...an adult and perhaps a juvenile...

"If you won't look after me, I'll just follow you around," Lusa growled boldly, glaring defiance at the adult. Night narrowed her dark blue eyes at the pup, but couldn't help admiring the youngster's bravery. "Fine, but if you starve to death, it's not my fault," she growled, relenting.

Nightbane walked forward, overhearing the conversation interestedly. he crept through the undergrowth carefully, coming upon a small clear area, seeing a couple of long furred, dog-like canines. as he had guessed, one was an adult, the other one a juvenile. they were intriguing to watch. he had never seen anything like them before. long ears, a long muzzle, long fur, well sized body in the adult's case. from the scents, he determined they were both females. he contemplated the idea of exposing himself or remaining where he was. deciding on the latter, he watched on...

Lusa went on crunching into her hare, splintering bones with ease. Night watched, her ears twitching slightly at the noise. So little, and already breaking bones with her baby teeth, she thought.

Nightbane heard the crunching of bones, amused. wanting to see how they'd react, he decided to expose himself. he walked out of the bushes a distance away, not in their direction, but not comletely facing away from them either. he stopped and looked at them with his rich green eyes, a genuinely curious look in them as he watched from a distance...

Night suddenly froze, catching an unfamiliar scent on the breeze. She turned, her dark blue eyes glittering with alarm. She moved to stand protectively in front of Lusa, pulling her lips away from her fangs in a warning snarl. Lusa curiously peered from behind the adult's legs, staring at the creature. It didn't look or smell like a wolf, but it carried a scent of blood and strength that must've worried the adult wolf.

Nightbane's eyes widened slightly. not many creatures would actually stand up to a fully grown Barbary Lion. he made a soft chuckle as he looked the Wolf in the eyes. "Your bravery is admirable, wolf" he growled, his tone as powerful as his appearance, as he eyed the wolf and the youngster hidden behind it...

Fenrir creeped his way down to the waters edge looking around silently surveying for any of the many water dangers, crocodiles, hippos and the large snakes. When the coast was clear he dipped his head down and began to drink...

The massive Salt Water Croc entered the waters, warmed up and ready for his next meal. The massive croc moved quickly under the water looking for a meal. His massive tail propelling him foward as he headed for the richer waters. What to eat..it was a rather simple question but easier said then done. Anything that came up in the water would be a potential meal. Heading in to the bigger, more plentiful waters. The massive croc rose his head above the water, his body resembling a log by the looks of it. He looked around..searching for his meal.

Fenrir drowsily opened his eyes as he was lapping up water and watched the ripples extend out from where is tongue was hitting. Then all of a sudden larger ripples came back at him. He stopped and cocked his head then realizing what was happening Lifted his head to see a log shape in the distance. he knew to well however what a log in the water usually was and he began to creep off away from the river just as other animals approached at all sides of the river

Several creates were moving closer towards the water..good. His jaws opened, primed to kill as he readied himself for his next meal. His massive form continued to drift through the water as it then disapepared under the water quickly. He began to crawl under the river's bottom towards the surface..silently, a master ambush predator. Years of expirence and practice, killing after killing. It was almost too easy now. The massive Salt Water croc continued on..the animals usually had no idea what attacked them until it was too late..
