"You were here long enough to know why i don't WANT to go hunt something at the moment. the very same reason that whole scene earlier was a mere bluff to test how far you'd go. i'm already compeltely fed and don't need to eat again for the day. the other reason is that i've got bored of the typical savvanah landscape. that's why i'm in the jungle. i want to see what there is to see. find out how animals outside of my own environment behave, where they go, what they do, and so on" growled Nightbane, a serious look in his eyes...

Nightbane just stared at the wolf with a slightly smug grin, laying his head to rest. he was a light sleeper by nature. it would be suicide to attempt to even THINK of attacking him in his sleep. he stayed up for now, waiting for the other two to sleep before deciding whether to sleep or not...

Night closed her eyes and fell asleep, but Lusa kept staring at the big lion. She stared....and stared...and kept staring...until she blinked...and then she stared some more.

Nightbane grinned at the pup reassuringly, his tongue licking his whiskers before his massive jaws parted in a wide yawn, the large, razor sharp fangs inside shown for a few moments as he lowered his head again, putting it down on his crossed paws...

Lusa blinked and curled up, tucking her muzzle under one of her paws. Maybe Night was just being paranoid...maybe there was nothing to worry about.

Lusa sneaked another glance at the lion before she finally closed her eyes and began to doze off. Her first encounter with a lion, and he'd nearly scared her out of her fur.

Azure eye lay down on his right side and closed his eyes, falling asleep. He wold finish the anaconda the next morning and his first meal of the next day would already be within his easy reach.

The next day, as the sun began to rise above the trees, Nightbane opened his eyes, spotting the two wolves laying a short distance away. still not fully in the mood to get up, he stayed where he was, his emerald eyes scanning his surroundings...

Lusa's eyes opened as the sunlight touched and warmed her black fur. She blinked and yawned widely, stretching out more comfortably and looking around her.

Tyretros groaned, covering his eyes with a paw, having fallen asleep at the cliffs. Finally surveying his surroundings, one sight caught his attention; a Hyena's backside sticking out of a patch of tall grass. "What do they take me for, an idiot?!" he roared, voice echoing around the area, causing the Hyena to scramble into the grass. Anger rising, Tyretros felt the urge to just charge at the pack and kill as many as he could before they got the upper hand, but knew better then to do something so stupid...

Lusa let out a yelp of shock as a lion's roar echoed off the cliffs. That, in turn, woke Night, who's eyes snapped open. The adult wolf looked around suspiciously, expecting a pride of lions to come charging out of the jungle.

Nightbane grunted, amused as he growled "It seems Tyretros isn't far from here...i don't remember telling him where i was going though". he got up, heading out of the cave, investigating. after a few moments of swift climbing, he spotted his friend in the plains on the edge of the cliffs. he was downwind of Tyretros, meaning chances were, he would never know he was there. turning back and returning to the cave, he grunted "Just one of my friends in the plains"...

Dark fur opened his yellow eyes and could see that the sun was rising. Leaping down from the branch of the tree he slept in, he landed on the ground easily and walked over to the stream neabry to satisfy his thirst. His feet made little noise as he began to approach the water source that was in his terriotry.
