Nightbane chuckled at the pup. "Well, i think we may be keeping Tyretros out of that equasion....doesn't look like he's hanging around here" he growled as he lifted a paw and wrapped it around the side of the pup, pulling her slightly inwards, his massive mane brushing against the pup's head...

Night had slipped out of the cave unnoticed, and the scent of blood and fresh meat announced her return. Her catch was a skinny rabbit, but it'd be more than enough for a pup. The silver, black and white female laid down and stared out of the cave, past the lion and the pup, out to the savannah.
Lusa rested her chin in the lion's paw once more, though her ears pricked excitedly at the scent of a fresh kill.

Nightbane looked down at the pup growling "Are you going to eat? or should i?", a taunting tone in his voice as he smirked. he wasn't hungry yet, having taken the kill of that black leopard the previous night, and eating a couple of lions before that...

Lusa squeaked in surprise before she stood up and scurried over to the kill, laying across it protectively. "Mine!" she yipped with a playful snarl..

Lusa snapped her jaws playfully at Nightbane, before she ripped into the kill, swallowing mouthfuls of flesh and splintering bones with little effort. Night rolled her eyes and muttered something that sounded oddly like "Pups..."

Nightbane watched on, amused. the faint snapping and crunching of small bones the only thing that could be heard. "cute" he grunted while eying the young wolf eating. it made the eating habits of some predatros look ferocious...

The fuzzy wolf pup let out a soft snort. "I'm not a furball," she muttered. "Yes you are," Night growled back. "No I'm not," Lusa growled. "Yes you are," Night replied. The two continued bickering, each trying to prove a point that was almpst completely pointless.

Nightbane sighed, getting up and sitting down by the pup, swatting her gently back and forth between his massive paws like a cat with a toy, the pup rolling around between his paws two or three times before Nightbane stopped. "There's your proof. you're a furball" he growled with a smirk...

Nightbane sighed, and put the furball down by his other paw, laying down, his mane almost covering the pup completely, only her head sticking out under it. if this was the lifestyle of a wolf, it would probably suit him perfectly. lounge around all day, hunt when he liked. perhaps he WOULD stay around for a while...

Night's paw trapped a field mouse by the tail. She watched it struggle for a moment, before she released it, watching it smack into a rock that it failed to notice. She tucked her nose into her chest fur and snickered, remembering the last time she'd played with a field mouse.
