The Commander stepped back a bit, then sent the message to Grievous. He growled in anger, then sent a message back. "Your request is accepted," replied the droid. "We will meet right here. He is coming down in a shuttle as we speak."

Serephir nodded. "Good" he said as stood, his arms around his back, palms meeting at his lower back as he stood patiently...

Thara exited the ship, walking casually before stoppping still at seeing the conflict unfolding. Luckily he was still in his gear, having found his door locked when he went to try to change his clothes. he wondered silently if this place even had a decent bar...

An ovoid shuttle, its front side flattened horizontally and lined with three blue lights, floated down to the walkway. Four insectoid legs folded outward from its belly, letting the craft land smoothly. A hatch opened from the front and bottom of the shuttle, and Grievous walked down the resulting ramp, arms folded behind his back, under his cloak. A quartet of his droid Bodyguards flanked him, and half a dozen Droidekas rolled out of the shuttle, lining up along either side of the walkway, guns at the ready. The B1s turned and marched away, intending to get weapons to restock themselves. Grievous was taking no chances, especially since this man was the General of the VAMCEB... whatever that was. After a moment, the cyborg growled, "What is it you wanted?"

Arqueek had walked out of the Endeavour, looking around nervously at the surrounding droids.

"Oh please. i said you could bring Bodyguards if you were a bit worried about safety, but this is ridiculous" said Serephir with an amused tone as he straightened up, arms at his side as he began to walk forward. "Interesting that JUST when i find myself in need of repairs, YOU of all people turn up demanding a meeting. now, THAT, i would've agreed to. i simply requested that, during that time, my ship would be repaired. then your Droids aim their weapons at me, preparing to open fire, and i find myself in a somewhat annoying situation regarding my crew's safety. and that attack was...why, preytell?" said Serephir as he came to a hault about 10 feet from Grievous, prepared for an attack, should it come...

Grievous leaned forward, so he was eye-to-eye with Serephir. "I have been dealing with security issues as of late, plain and simple. Tell me, why should I help you? All you have ever done is insult me, and now you are helpless on my planet. I have an entire army at my command, and you have a band of privateers..."

"Trained soldiers." Akiba corrected, coughing as he spoke. He stood with Thara and Arqueek, hand on the pistol holstered on his belt, knowing that the droid general was a deceitful being...and that getting help from him was as likely as getting help from the very asteroid that hit them...

Grievous's gaze flicked to Akiba for a moment, but said nothing. The Bodyguards' hands tensed around their Electrostaffs in response, however, and Arqueek muttered, "Maybe you shouldn't piss this guy off..."

"For one, it would prove your uselessness as a General, damaging a potential for an alliance in favour of a war that would hinder both our factions, and, on another note, would result in your own death before your army could make a move. secondly, as i already told you AND your droids before that, i am simply here due to a stroke of bad luck, am here to repair my ship, and then leave, if this planet doesn't happen to offer anything of use to me, perhaps restocking on food supplies and the like. finally, as i said earlier, my crew member is inexperienced. he comes from a place where there's either droids, or entirely living creatures. Cyborgs are unheard of where he comes from, so he can't be expected to know when he sees you walk past him. furthermore, he has been punished for the mistake by me personally. the fact you maintain a grudge over something that's over and done with, by a person whose ignorance was through no fault of his own, is simply sad. I personally make sure to keep my Generals to a higher standard than to drop to such lows" said Serephir simply, staring back at Grievous' reptilian eyes with no hint of intimidation, a look of carelessness in his eyes instead...

Grievous narrowed his eyes. He had a point, and a good one. At least Serephir wasn't a fool. Maybe, just maybe, he'd finally get some help against the Empire who had made him what he was today. After what seemed like an eternity, Grievous straightened and said in a more cordial tone, "Very well, General. What do you need?" The B1s, who had just arrived again with new rifles, looked up at Grievous in surprise. He wasn't usually this easily persuaded, or even this good-natured. His Bodyguards and Droidekas simply stood still, waiting for any reaction.

"Psh, this is the guy who invaded my home planet. If he pisses Serephir off, I call dibs on shooting him in the face." Akiba whispered to Arqueek, not caring whether or not he was heard. If he was alone, he would've shot the droid general right then and there...but he wouldn't risk the lives of Serephir and his crew, after giving him so much...

Thara, having lost interest in the debate soon after serephir began talking, absently watched the droids, taking note of their actions and their weapons. The majority didn't seem to have any armour, the others looked unmaneuverable and the ones with the staffs seemed to be up hand to hand fighters...

Serephir smiled, glad the General saw reason, at least, though he didn't let his guard down, well used to deciete and not intended to be fooled if the General in front of him attempted anything. "I'm glad we could come to terms. As i mentioned earlier, my Ship had been damaged. i came here to have repairs done since the damage has resulted in the ship having no fuel to transport it to any other place. i was honestly looking for a shipyard where it could be repaired, refueled and upgraded if possible. Provided Marican Star is accepted as a currency here, you can expect full payment. that aside, nothing else is really required, though the local market may have something interesting, if i can get the time to explore it before the ship's repairs are done"...

"No need," replied Grievous with a wave of his hand. "I don't need money. I have all I need on my planets." His antennae twitched, and several tiny Buzz Droids scuttled from underneath his cloak. "Just as these Buzz Droids are experts at disabling ships, they can repair them just as quickly. Now then, come with me. I'm sure your crew are hungry." As he turned and walked back into the shuttle, his guards followed, but the Droidekas stayed put and watched as the Buzz Droids scuttled all over the ship, several different repair tools bristling from their tiny frames.

Serephir nodded thankfully, Jarmun and Jarad following, with the three VAMCEB soldiers following after that. a small marble-like object fell from Jarad's hand as he walked forward, unaware he had dropped it. the crew followed the General towards the pod, following on board the craft...

Akiba relaxed slightly, following after Serephir, arm at his side, ready to whip out the weapon at a moment's notice. Despite the strange actions, he still had a deep hatred and distrust of Grievous....

Arqueek reluctantly followed the rest of the crew, walking onto the shuttle with the rest of the crew. The Commander Droid, who happened to be OOM-6, looked down at the marble-like object. He picked it up and gazed at it for a second, but didn't yet show it to Grievous. He tucked it in an equipment pouch grafted to his hip, and followed the rest of the organics aboard the ship. The inside of the shuttle was surprisingly roomy. A door behind the group led to the cockpit, where a droid pilot was already preparing to lift off. A long row of chairs lined either side of the shuttle's compartment, a long table in the middle. "We will drive you to a Trando diner. Just be prepared to see a lot of meat." Grievous sat down at the end of the table, flanked by his guards, and motioned for the rest of them to sit down as the shuttle lifted off smoothly, with almost no vibration.

As Serephir and the others took seats, Serephir looked acorss at Grievous, grunting amusedly. "Meat? that's the staple of my diet on my home planet" he said...

Grievous leaned back and replied, "Then we won't have a problem. Now then, on to business. You all know me and you've been introduced to OOM-6, my Commander." He waved a hand to OOM-6, who was standing nearby, in the usual stiff droid pose. "Anyway, I'll let you introduce yourselves as well, then I want to ask you a couple questions, if you don't mind, General."
