Jak sniffed insolently and muttered under his breath, "I;d like to see the d*** thing try..."

Arqueek arched a brow, then said to Chardossk, "Come on, we better see what's going on. He headed to the Control Room, Chardossk following behind, clearly confused.

The Irrefutable Succor had completed it's landing sequence, resting on the moist ground of X-37. The hangar bay's door swung open, and a single Phantom dropship flew out, heading out into the dark and foggy abyss.

"Where we go?" asked one of the Unggoy aboard the dropship, "I thought we stay fix motor." The kig-yar commander snarled, "We have a mission, to explore this planet. Zefuse says that there is something of value here... and command has been keeping it secret for over three centuries." The unggoy's eyes popped open, "Three centerees! That be much time!"

Jak looked at one of the Holo-Panels on the bridge of the ship, which connected to the Kig-Yar Commander's helmet cam. "They better know what they doin'..." he snarled.

Akiba lifted his head, hearing the broadcast. Standing quickly, he stepped forward, cursing as he tripped, forgetting that he was trying to tie his boots before the broadcast. Boots now tied, Akiba coughed uncomfortably as he left his quarters, heading toward the control room...

Thara swept out of his room wearing a light tunic and sandals, a leather bracer around his left fore arm... It was a short walk to the control room from his own room, entering the sliding door and looking around....

The Cypher glided over the surface of the crater marked asteroid, eaxmining every square inch of it.... he was currently piloing his personal OWL frame, his main space frame stationary some 180 kilometers from the surface of the asteroid....

It was the 248th asteroid so far examined. He had started on it some 16 hours ago. He couldn't rely on a surface scan. There was no atmosphere for a normal scan to reflect off and he couldnt send out drones for fear that the Myro was blocking them... Myro (that was his only name) was the counter balance to Cere'kan. While Cere'kan was to organise and calculate everything within the Marican armed forces, the Myro was to organise and manipulate everything outside it, avoiding and intiating conflicts to ensure the optimal conclusion. The Myro is alot of things, but in the current days with the Minds reduced to nothing but drones with brains, it was the most advanced stealth system known. Capable of convincing an entire army of another armies non existance, able to mimic the presence of a ship where nothing but emptiness floats.

It had to be accuired before the war could begin. Right now, it was useless searching for Marbh, the last remaining Majal. Even without its frame to amplify its powers, the mind's almost mythical creation allowing a mere program to retain enough strength to scatter any trail...

He wasn't even sure if the Myro was without a frame, for all he knew, it could have built or modified itself a new one, like he had done with the Owl...

Then he spotted it. As his beams passed over a crater, a single unnatural deformation was spotted. He immeidiately zoomed in, slowing his movement by tilting his thrusters down.... No need to get overly excited yet, it could just be a stray shot from the imperials during an age old battle... The object was a tiny peice of metal imbedded in the ground.... Then he detected concrete proof. As he scanned the metal further, the radiation levels rose ever so slightly. The Myro had realised its mistake and in a split second of irrationality, powered up a weapon.

THe cypher pulled out, scanning around for the highest radiation consintration, predictably sensing several ghost signals. He broadcast openly, almost chuckling over the com "Ghost signals? Seriously Myro...." Panels slid open beneath his wings. There was a silent click and 4 missiles slid out, red crosshairs landing onto the signals....

"How do you know where you're going? There's so much damn fog!" barked the Kig-yar major, "I look out, and barely see what's infront of us." The pilot chuckled, "I've been doing this for quite some time, I've been in fog like this." The major sniffed, "But you didn't answer my question. How do you know where you're going?" The pliot smirked, "Its not that hard- actually. It's really just placing a waypoint, and determining the thickness of the fog; the closer to a solid, the less thick. Get it?"
"You make it sound simple, when in reality, I know it's not."
"Definatly not... and ontop of that, that method isn't always correct. But don't worry, I'm sure we'll be fine."
"I'm not convinced... wait, is the fog clearing?"
"I think so, wait... what's that down there?"
"Looks like deep ditch."
Zefuse's voice emerged from the COM, "You need to go down there, that's what we're looking for." The major laughed, "Are you joking? We're not going into a ditch... we're here to-" Zefuse interupted, "Explore the planet. Now do as I say, and go in there!" The pilot immediatly followed the order, and dove straight into the crater, the major cringing in anger.

Fu'yadar watched as through the hoo-panel, as the fog turned into darkness, but soon, the screen fumbled into static: the connection was lost. "God damnit what just happened?" barked the ship master, clenching his fists, as the AI appeared, "Why did we just loose connection, what did you do!" Zefuse rolled it's eyes, "I didn't do anything... they're in a crater, no signal, isn't that obvious. I was surprised we had connection in the first place." The ship master narrowed his eyes on the construct, "What if they need assistance?"
"When did you start caring?"
Yadar was speechless, incapable of responding, he grunted, and walked off, out of the bridge.

Jak snorted and followed Yadar, giving Zefuse an angry clack of his beak, the sound easily coming out of his helmet's speakers. He hissed to Yadar, "Boss, just get rid of the d*** thing. We don't need 'im, and he's probably rampant or somethin'."

"You may want to stay quiet... although you don't believe him about whiping you from existance; he could infact do such a thing. He could make you the most wanted Kig-yar in existance... and he'd have the crew exterminate you for ransom." snarled Fu'yadar, the bridge's door shutting behind his exit.

"After uncountable tests... we've done it, Supreme Commander... we've done it. We've recreated your weapon... your monster.. your baby." said a soft, Kig-yar voice. The Supreme Commander smirked in glee, and stood up from his gravity-throne, "Show me it," he said, his toungue brushing against his teeth.

Jak turned to look at the bridge door. "Psh, whatever. Why the hell does 'e want us here anyway? I mean, come on! Fog? Some random ditch? Seems like a bunch of bull**** 'ta me."

Zhar, meanwhile paced on the bridge of his ship, uncomfortable with Majorus ' angry stare. He waited impatiently for a response from his new "ally," who had had plenty of time to get what he wanted from unfortunate human ships. Hopefully no one noticed their disappearance...

"Well guys, i guess this is it" said Serephir as he leaned against a wall, arms crossed, as he looked at each of the crew in turn. "I've just spoken with Vardian High Command, and, by order of the King, i am to return to Vardia as soon as possible. that leaves us with the issue of the ship. I've already decided that the ship will be passed on to Thara, who will take over as captain. the ship will be for you to do as you see fit. i think i can trust you not to get into any....trouble, with it. after i leave, he has the choice to reassign you guys to different posts as the need arises. i'm sure you guys can take care of the details yourselves"...

Thara took the announcement stoticly, having already worked the excitement out of his system, instead, he was as tense as a pane of glass, listening for any reaction from the other crew members....

Akiba nodded, understanding Serephir's need to return to his people, not at all jealous of Thara, not exactly wanting that amount of responsibility. He wondered what Thara would have them do, hoping it wouldn't be anything too dangerous...like their previous ventures.

Chardossk raised a claw. "If you'll allow me, sir, I have been requested by General Grievous to go to Vardia as my primary mission. I will send him information, so he can properly assist you when the need arises, and he won't run into any snags in the process."

Serephir nodded. just as he was about to speak, Blaze cut him off. "Sir?" he said. "What is it Blaze?" responded Serephir, curious. "I've been thinking over my options lately and...i'm thinking of stepping out of the VAMCEB in favour of a life as a Privateer. to stay on this ship with Thara, Akiba Arqueek and the others...that is, if i'd be allowed by Vardian High Command" said Blaze. Serephir smiled, and said "Vardian High Command? you don't have to worry about their decision on your leaving. From here onward, you are a privateer, and a former VAMCEB Soldier. however, if you don't mind, i think High Command will want occasional updates on encounters under Thara's command. perhaps it could lead to a few benefits for Vardia as well". Blaze smiled gratefully, giving Serephir a salute. "Don't bother with that. you're not in the Military anymore" said Serephir. "Do i have to be a soldier to offer my respect to a superior?" asked Blaze. "I suppose not. still, your regular contact with Vardia will be enough thanks" said Serephir. Blaze nodded, and Serephir said "Computer. would you mind having the droids pack up Xander, Alex and my gear?". "At once, Commander" said the computer. "I take it you have no problem with Blaze staying here, Thara?"...

Thara said calmly, not taking his eyes off the general once "Not a problem, sir. His experience and talents should be helpful..." The notion of a military soilder under his command was a nice one... He was already working out in his head who he had and what they could do. There was his newest crew member, Blaze, military training... He would have to enquire further about his skills... Then there was Arqueek... a Skaven... He was lazy but he seemed to know his way around. That wierd dude, Akiba... He had no idea what was on his bill. He would have to interogate him later. Then he had the twins... The pilot and engineer.... Dangerous combination and he wasn't sure if he could trust them.... He'd have to pay attention to how they take his taking command and but down some sort of ground plan just incase they defect. "I'll have to set up the computer as soon as possbile..." He reasoned, deciding that it was probably the only thing on board he could 100% trust, Blaze coming second

"Well he hasn't given the VAMCEB any reason not to say he's perfect for the job. hopefully he won't give you any reason to think that either" said Serephir, leaning back against the wall, arms crossed, putting one foot against the wall behind him while the other was on the ground, holding him up. Xander and Alex looked somewhat disappointed that their holiday of sorts had come to such a swift end, but still preffered serving Vardia in the VAMCEB to privateering. being the strongly patriotic men they were, they almost flat out refused to do anything that wouldn't eventually result in benefit for Vardia. Jarmun and Jarad watched silently. such a fascinating person as Serephir leaving would be something of a loss to them, but still, in a voyage of exploration like the one they were on, they expected they'd eventually come across someone or something fittingly interesting to make up for the loss. they were still curious about how much things would change under Thara's command, and whether the change would be a good or bad one...

"I'll take it that that nod was a 'Yes,' General," hissed Chardossk, a hint of humor in his voice.

Arqueek leaned against the wall next to the door, whiskers twitching absently as he listened to the conversation.

"Didn't think it really need any more voicing" said Serephir with a smirk as he waited for the Computer to have the gear taken to the quarters to the entrance, where a shuttle from one of the leaving Galactic Destroyers was swiftly approaching...

Mal'Ganis was now closing in on an obviously inhabited planet, judging from his current surroundings, though he was uneasy, unable to recall which faction controlled the planet. Either way, it seemed like a public planet that offered travelers the chance to resupply, which was his exact purpose in being here, but to add his problems with being in public, not every controlling faction looked at Jedi very kindly, some even trying to eradicate them. For now, however, he would focus on resupplying and getting the hell out've there before anything happened. Landing his small ship within the many others, he flipped a switch before getting up from the cockpit, walking forward as a ramp was lowered from the back of the ship, putting up his hood as he walked out of the ship...
