Jacob and the others leapt into the elvator shaft, weapons pointing up, lights illuminateing the dark gunmetal gray.... Jacob spat out and grabbed onto the ladder, clambering up. On the next floor up, he got off the ladder, jumping out into the hallway, his soldiers following. Rick threw up a hand and yelled "Got movement!" He pointed towards a shadow flickering out through a door way. The group opened fire, bullets thudding into the wall, throwing dust in all directions. The shadow suddenly convulsed and dissappeared, a goblin dragons head landing with a thud, peaking out of the doorway, blood leaking out after it. Other of the small dragons begun clambering towards them, peaking out through door ways. Jacob instantly ordered his men to take cover, the group splitting into two, leaping into different rooms and leaning out, firing bullets down the corridor, fire balls streaming down in response.....

Andrew and Juliane trudged on quietly through the jungle, they could see the top of the control tower from where they were... They were nearly there, the sole bit of consolation they had in this unforgiving world.

"We could..use our computers to transmit messages to each other without phyiscally speaking..the lights did work however. the problem is..we need to use forces that can provide cover" One American pilot said, looking at the plans. The British forces that were at the lost compound were up to something..and there was no signs of them..they needed to confirm something.

"We cant move in too much of a number..we could easily get picked apart" John responded.
"Well..we gotta go high and fast..all we need is a few moments" Another pilot said. The group of pilots looked at the map and other plans..something had to be done.
"Then thats plan..we'll send in birds in to provide cover while we secure air supremecy..in the end, we'll help the British get out of there and see what weapons they recieved and see if we could use them to finally end this war.." John ordered. The pilots nodded in agreement..

The pilots walked off the large tent..looking towards the makeshift airfield and the numerous jets ready to be unleashed..

The double doors of the control room suddenly burst open, a throng of fireballs zipping through into the squad beyond. The injured men dived for cover, firing blindly towards the door. They had fortified the room as their last line of defence, now it had been breeched. 4 Goblin Dragons were taking cover by the entrance, flinging firey orbs in. Bullets hammering into the walls and around them. It was chaos. Papers and sparks flew everywhere, the glass window smashed, a fierce wind whipping up and adding to the confusion.

2 of the slender blue dragons seemed to flow around the door, lowering onto all fours. A line of bullets struck into ones chest, its momentum sending it toppleing onto the ground, dead. The other leapt forward right at Corperal Nevens. He threw his arm to block its jaws, its sharp teeth stabbing into his muscle like daggers. He screamed and fell backwards, the Goblin dragon pinning him and attempting to twist his arm off. With his free hand, he managed to grab his knife and pull it up to bear, striking it into the Goblin Dragons head. It sunk in with a sickening squelch and the creature let go immeidiately, retreating back and shrieking with pain. It stumbled back for a moment and then walked right into what remained of the main window, the shattered glass giving away against its weight, the dragon toppleing over and plumiting down to the ground below, cracking sickeningly off the main entrance and denting the roof.

Juliane flinched at the sudden noise, raising her weapon immeidiately. Andrew didnt blink, walking on calmly, holding up his rifle and firing a single shot into the mangled dragon as it slid off the roof. He looked up, seeing flashes and hearing the dull rattle of gunfire from the control tower above them.

There was an apc near the main door, the rear entrance opening and a nervous looking soldier jumping out. He stammered "O'Mahony! Sir! You're alive! Thank god we tho-" Andrew cut him off "I don't give a crap. Tell me what the hell is going on in there?"

The soldier quickly appologised but seeing the look in Andrew's eyes, hastily continued "Two teams, one in the lower levels one in the control tower. Both ambushed by small dragons. Beta is holding out well but Alpha is taking heavy casualties."

He nodded and ordered "Throw me a radio, mine's fu**ed"

The soldier nodded quickly and dissappeared into the APC, coming out with a walkie talkie and throwing it to Andrew.

The vetern hunter quickly brought it up to his ear and said "Davis, whats your status?"

A voice crackled through the speaker, backed by gunfire and angered shouts "This is Corperal Nevens! Davis is dead! We are pinned down in the control tower. 4 of us left including the techie."

Nevens, continued shouting out details into his headset, rolling over onto his back and spraying bullets from his Enfield towards the door, downing a Goblin dragon which had tried to charge them. A fireball whizzed through the smoke covered doorway and thudded into a soldier on the far side of the room, exploding and blowing him back. Nevens didnt bother checking to see if he survived, instead consintrateing on putting as many rounds into what ever threw it.

Andrew thought quickly, then looked over at the soldier from the APC. He grunted "You got ammo for the Shrike?" He nodded but before he could add anything on Andrew ordered "Then man it or tell somone else to man it, aim for the windows." He brought up the radio and said "Copy that, get your guys towards the walls and lure the ******** in, Keep away from the window"

Nevens shouted back "Roger that!" He looked over towards the other men and gave them a few hand signals, gestureing towards the far wall. He got up into a crouch, a fireball whizzing just past his head. He fired a few rounds towards where it came from and then sped back towards an over turned desk where one of his injured was taking cover. He slid in behind it, resting the barrel of the gun on top of the desk and firing blindly out towards the door. The 2 other soldiers still on their feet ran in to join them, one of them taking a fireblast into the thigh just as he dived for cover, landing onto the ground with a shout of pain.

With the lapse in return fire that followed, the Goblin dragons made their move, charging into the room. Suddenly the ground seemed to explode, tracers blasting through the floor randomly all over the room. Within seconds the space between the men's table and the door had become a hailstorm of bullets, blood and shrapnel flying in all directions.

Down below, the Shrike auto cannon on top of the APC was rattleing literally hundreads of rounds a second into the building, the shots aimed in the general direction of the window, but each shot was large enough to burrow through the wall and through the floor if needed. Shell casings rained down around the APC. Andrew tentively listening to his radio.

Nevens glanced over the top of the table, seeing the room plastered with blood, but no more dragons, only bullets. He shouted "Ya' got em! They're dead!"

Andrew smirked and held up his hand, the shrike's barrel spinning to a halt, smoke rising up out of it....

A strange message then called out on the open channel "DDASF forward advanced party requesting American air support at this location, over." After that, the co-ordinates of the base were stated, yet with an odd slur to the voice. The message continued to repeat over and over again....

When Spectre was sure the place was deserted, he kicked off of the ground, latching onto a hole in the cieling with his claws, climbing out of a hole in the dome above. as darkness slowly began to fall, he leapt off of the dome, his haunting, rattling roar the tell tale signs that death itself was on the prowl...

"Hey Mike, you hear that?" said the man, who was sitting in the front seat of a Chevrolet Silverado crew cab military truckmilitary truck. "Oh god, not again. we leave Scotland and all those monsterous winged lizards and now on the way to London we come across a bloody black ghost. can this possibly get any worse?" responded the man in the back, who was carrying an M4 by the window, one of his team mates patching up his leg from an injury with a rather small serpentine Wyvern that had taken him by surprise. droplets of water began hitting the windshield mere seconds after Mike said that, causing everyone in the car to groan in joint irritation. "Well that's just fuckin brillian' innit?" said Mike irritably. "Mike, you're a walking jinx, you know that? everytime you talk SOMETHING happens that practically destroys our already wobbly strokes of good luck" said Jake. "oh shut it ya ******. you want to believe in luck and that **** go to Ireland, look for leprechauns in those Dragon-tombs, see where it gets ya" said Mike irritably. "Are you two gonna argue all day or are you going to keep an eye out for whatever made that noise?" said the driver. "You can't see it until it's too late, Max. that's why people called them Black Ghosts in the first place, innit?" said Mike. "Do you believe everything people tell you, Mike? that thing's going to show itself at some point. it won't just randomly appear out of nowhe-SHIT!" yelled Mike as a large black Wyvern seemed to materialise ahead of the truck, too close to stop them from hitting it. but just as they seemed to have hit the beast, they continued on, skidding to a hault several feet past the spot, no thump or sudden stop or anything else to indicate they had hit anything. "What the bloody 'ell was that!?" yelled Max. "Yer bloody Black ghost's what that was ya twat! get us moving!" responded Mike angrily, Max flooring the accelerator, launching the light military truck forward through the countryside as the predator watched from above...

"John, we've picked something up" the american on the otherline stating. The American LT Commander sat comfortably in the cockpit of his Jet Fighter. His superplane..combined both the best American and Russian military engineers to make this jet meant for a true ace..while it was the only one ever to be created..the fact there was only one made it unique and its apperance alone stood out.
"What is it?" John asked..curious to see what was going on.
"We've picked up a message..the forward advancing parties are actually requesting the help. But it keeps repeating.." The man responded.
"Thats means were going supersonic as soon as we get in the air" John stated with a slight grin..the unmatched acceleration and speed of his fighter was just..perfect..any pilot in control would have the same cockiness.
"Hold up..there's problems with that, remember the situation"
John didnt respond..there was always problems.
"Remember this is ground support so were sending in several A-10A thunderbirds. They are the key to groundsport..its their primary duty. We've modified them heavily but the fastest they can go is just above Supersonic. If anything..the plan is for the teams to go high in the sky, move fast and then drop down, and proceed to wipe out any enemies that are coming in..transports wont be far behind but will stay back in case **** happens..you'll also be reinforced with other planes on patrol so there's some relief in that" The man responded.
"It'll be tough to coordinate attacks from the Brits if we cant commuicate" John responded.
"Dont worry..dont forget, you can take the information and bounce it back to us and we can deal with the communication problems..now hurry up flyboy"
"Roger that..Strigon Leader procedding into the air" The CFA-44 warmed up..flames shooting out from the engines as the Air Supremecy Fighter accelerated down the make **** runway..heading into the air as soon as the plane reached 300 MPH..several more planes of various types proceeded to follow..while differeny physically..they all went supersonic when as soon as they reached a certain altitude, proceeding towards the mission area..no communications..

Silence all over again..

Amon hovered above the clouds as he flew above the city of Cairo. He managed to sneak out of the pyramid for a stretch. He observed the people when he could catch a glimpse through the clouds. He didn't want to be seen for fear of causing an uproar. But he marveled at the things humans created now. Odd pyramids that only went straight up, paved roads, little devices that carried humans around without horse or camel. He chuckled at himself. There were probably other names for them, but he called them as he wished.
Sugar. Spice. Everything twice. I'm the left and the right, in a word: Nice.

Jacob leaned out of the doorway, firing a few rounds down the corridor before retreating back in. His radio crackled into life "Beta, whats your status?" He replied back "Holding out. They have us pinned but the chickens are afraid of us blowing their scaley heads off if they try something. Could do with some support" Alpha team stoticly "Roger that. We've taken some casualties here... but on the bright side of things, Andrew and whats her name showed up. They survived the crash and seem pretty ok." Jacob's heart leapt. He had thought everyone on board was done for.... he replied "Excellent. When you have the defence system down, get a chopper in here and evac them."

"I would, but they don't want out. They're part of the team were sending down to you guys, Andrew insisted and I have to say I agree with him. He knows alot more about this place than you do."

Jacob rolled his eyes, but felt better knowing that Andrew would be covering them. He replied "Well ok... whats the eta on getting the defence system down?"

"Already done my freind. The transports have forced radio silence so they aint showing up untill their time is up. But otherwise, you're home free buddy. Clean out the chickens then get your ducks in a row. You better've found something good!"

Jacob laughed and closed the com, looking over at the other men and shouting "Guys, defence system is down. Cue cushy airlift!" The others laughed heartily, but then a suprising voice caught their attention. A hissing angered shout "Shut up! SHUT UP! quench your flames!" Jacob glanced past the door, seeing a strange Goblin dragon walking down the corridor, odd red tribal patterns down its scales. He was about to lean out and take it down when the creature growled "humans! hold your fire! "
Just then a goblin dragon flung a fireball down the corridor, right away, the tribal patterned one lashed out with a clawed paw, smashing it over the others head and hammering it off a wall. It growled again "Humans! Don't deactivate the defence system! You'll kill us all!" Jacob, glanced at the others and shouted back "Sure thing. whoops! too late. Guess there goes your plan scale face."

The Goblin Dragon leader hissed back angrily "Plan? If I wanted you monkeys dead I would've killed you before you got 10 feet through our front door. I'm merely controlling the frenzied tide in an attempt to rectify natures retardation!" Jacob was honestly suprised at the answer, but he didnt respond. he nodded at the others, implying that they were going to kill it soon.

The Dragon continued "I'm telling you. Get your men to turn the defence system back online before Tsu'shin arrives!"

Jacob chuckled and shouted "We already talked to Obsidion, quite a lovely fellow I mi-"

The dragon cut him off "Not that bumbling human pet! Tsu'shin, the darkness, the Shadow Dragon!"

That put a chill up his spine. From the looks he got, it did the same to everyone else. He decided to check with Beta just incase "Beta? Davis? Would you mind reactivateing the Defence system, just untill we need it off that is?" Davis replied cheerily "ha! I'm afraaaaaiiiid I DO not want to DO that" Each word sounded like it had been taken from completely different conversations. His heart rate increasing, he said quickly "Davis! Whats wrong?" Davis merely laughed back at him. It started out as a good humored chuckle before slurring into a hacking laugh, increasing in volume. The voice of the laugh slowly changed, becoming almost mechanical, a backing of random beeping sounds and rushing wind behind it. Then the laughter cut off, leaving a surreal dialing sound.... The others had heard it too... the colour draining from their faces...

Meanwhile, Davis took off his headset and shouted to Andrew and the other soldiers getting ready to head down into the base "Guys! Jacob called ahead, they say the whole place is clear, your home free. They are on B-13 at the moment and want you to head down to help them out."

Most of the jets were super cruising throught he air, 20,000 feet in the sky. Every once in a while, several jets would come by and join with the group. There was no vocal communication at all..they just sat in silence, keeping their eyes all over as they moved just above the speed of sound. They were good so far and would approach the mission area in just a few more minutes. The American Planes made sure the transports in case emergancy evac was required was following, several miles behind but they couldnt risk talking at all. Luckily..they were prepared with onboard comptuers where they can type their messages too each other or use the lights system..John was rather unused to his situation..to be stuck in a cockpit..alone..in nothing but silence..

Once again missiles, bullets, and fireballs arched through the air, Frank and the other maneuverable Apaches and Kamovs now locked in dogfights with a particular group of dragons. Below them, water stretched into the distance in both directions, the squad of helicopters being slowly pushed back, but it was exactly as they intended. They were previously scouting out the coast of the UK for any sign of a place to stay, when they were ambushed by a group of dragons that apparently had been nesting in the area. The dragons had reddish orange scales, and had the body type of a Komodo Dragon, but instead of slow, waddling legs, the beasts had the legs of big cats, and could move just as fast. They were around 10 feet long from nose to tail, and the group thought they were pathetic...that assumption proved very wrong. They had large leathery wings like most dragons, and moved just as fast in the air as they did on land. Although most dropped the chase after the group headed off over the ocean, these dragons followed...

A hellfire missile soared through the air, fired from one of the Apaches, one of the goat-horned dragons shrieking before rolling to the side in mid-air. As the creature dodged the missile, a powerful blast echoed around them, a shell slamming into the dragon's arm, tearing the limb completely off, shredding the base of the dragon's wing before exiting its body. The dragon bellowed and howled in pain, unable to keep itself up with only one usable wing, plummeting down to the ocean below. The source of the attack came from the Hinds backpedaling behind the battles, slowly flying backwards as they neared their destination; Ireland. While the agile Kamov helicopters and Apaches engaged the dragons directly, the Hinds were using their high powered nose cannons to pick off the dragons as best they could, the fast creatures proving to be hard targets to hit.

Frank forced the helicopter to the side as a fireball soared past the cockpit, nearly hitting his missile supply, the frustrated pilot firing a stream of bullets into the dragon in front of him. The bullets sunk into the dragon's chest and stomach, causing the creature to swipe the air defensively before retreating to another area of the battle, but did not kill it. Cursing, Frank swerved around as another shell was fired, one of the dragons drifting to the side with one flap of its wings, avoiding the shell while almost crashing into Frank's Kamov. He forced the helicopter back, a missile fired straight into the dragon's side, causing it to swerve into a nose dive, the dragon howling in pain as its side bled furiously, but once again the dragon returned to the fight. This is why it was so frustrating...the battle was pointless, both sides rarely being struck by eachother, and whenever Frank and his squad actually got a hit in, the dragons usually shrugged it off as nothing. They were wasting supplies...and fast.

Suddenly one of the Apache pilots screamed for help on the radio, Frank swerving the helicopter around to see a dragon latched onto the Apache's underside, with another dragon clawing viciously at the helicopter's tail. Frank moved forward to attack, watching in horror as the Apache's tail was torn off, causing the cockpit and base of the helicopter to plummet toward the ocean, the other dragon not letting go of the machine, hanging the mangled aircraft upside down as it crashed, not allowing the pilot to eject safely. The dragon suddenly shrieked, a stream of flames spreading across the cockpit of the helicopter, the pilot screaming one last time before being silenced by an explosion, the dragon having set the missile supply ablaze. The dragon itself emerged from the smoke, shaking its head while moaning in pain, its scales scorched from the blast. The Hinds took the sluggish speed to their advantage, a shell tearing through the dragon's chest, exploding before it exited the dragon's back, causing half the creature to be blown apart, its torso plummeting toward the water below...

A loud thump was heard as something landed in the flatbed of the back of the truck. suddenly, the fearful voices of the confused men fell silent, eyes wide in fear, frightened to look back to see what landed in the flatbed. it wasn't big enough to be the Wyvern, but it was too loud to be anything like hail, despite it hailing at the moment. they were too small to make such a noise. "What was that?!" yelled Max as he continued to drive, opening the xenon floodlights on the front of the car, allowing him to see better. for a split second, everything in front of the vehicle went black, as if something had drained all the light out of the spot. "Ignore it! keep going!" yelled Mike, trying to hide his fear from the others, to try and gain some control over a situation he knew was already lost. A shrill shrieking sound began to fill the ears of the people in the truck as they attempted to escape the wyvern. "what the hell is that?!" yelled Jake fearfully, not understanding where the voice was coming from. a series of thumps were heard on the window between the back of the large cabin of the truck and the flatbed behind it. Jake looked towards it, already dreading the sight of what was causing it, freezing as his sights fell on what was behind the glass of the back of the cabin. he began to feel cold, as if all the heat in the world had suddenly just been extinguished, the colour draining from his face as his hands went numb with fear. behind the glass was a woman, burning with black flames, bloody froth pouring from her rapidly moving, seizure-dominated mouth as her pale white, glowing eyes stared blindly into the vehicle. her face seemed decomposed to a degree, a hole in one cheek where massive, razor sharp teeth could be seen, the woman banging wildly against the glass, the shriek coming from her mouth in agonised cries as she scratched at the glass. "****!" screamed Mike as he moved away from the glass, the creature behind it slamming hard against it, a crack appearing in the glass...

The Goblin Dragon's voice rung out again "Human! Did you hear m-"
A deafening clunking sound followed by the gurgling of a dying animal... A slow tribal whistle filling the air. Jacob glanced around the corner, seeing the dragon nailed to the wall, a long jagged black spike impaled through its throat..

It was amazing as to how such a dragon was able to fit in the corridor at all, its long curling neck arched around to stare directly at them, its fist clenched, blooding dripping down its long elbow spike.
Jacob couldn't see anything more of the Shadow Dragon, the hazy glow around it making it hard to see anything but its side.

The surreal moment shattered as shrieks rang out from further down the corridor, the rest of the Goblin Dragons charging out towards the Shadow Dragon. Jacob watched in horror as the beast twisted around at impossible angles, its body, weaving over a fireball effortlessly in a 180 degree turn. The goblin dragon's leader slid off the spike, landing onto the ground with a thud.
Then a blinding blue flash filled the room, an alien electrical sound hissing through the air. Then a horrific slicing sound followed by the gush of blood. There were angered shouts of pain, then the Shadow dragon leapt, seeming to spin through the air like a maddened Banshee. Jacob pulled back around the corner, just as one of the beasts arms flew back, a jet of blood spitting out. He heard another deafening clunk, the sound of claws scoring down metal and another alien electrical sound. His radio was going crazy with the same rhythmical supernatural buzz, then another horrid tribal whoosh and all went silent. His radio instantly returning to simple static.... Fearfully, he leaned around the corner, staring down the length of the corridor. A purplish gas seemed to flow out of sight, down a passage at the end of the room.... He blinked and then went back behind his door... The other DDASF soldiers walking out cautiously.... Rick made a low whistle, the type you might utter while passing an exceptionally horrific car accident....

The Goblin dragons had been torn to pieces. One lay on the floor, its belly all the way up to its jaw having been torn out, blood splashing the floor above it for several meters. Another was slumped up against the wall, a large puncture wound in its chest. There was ones mid section by a door way, the creature apparently cleaved cleanly in two, right behind it, the wall had suffered the same fate, a long clean cut stretching deep into it. A headless dragon was lying on the floor near the back, a long 3 clawed scratch across the floor and past its neck, a long splatter of blood across its length.
Its easier to say the rest didn't fair any better, highlighted by the presence of a twitching arm lying on the floor barely 6 meters from the Hunters....

Back outside, the 3 soldiers left with the APC frowned in confusion, seeing the approaching American jets on radar.... They were about to radio when they were torn from their thoughts by a deafening roaring sound and the beating of wings. Hundreds of Goblin Dragons tearing out through a hole in the bases roof and scattering into the sky....

John narrowed his eyes..spotting the large mass of enemies that began to rise into the skies. The LT Commander flicked a switch, the red lights on the end of the CFA-44's wings began to blink on and off as the fighter began tilting its wings..it was a simple signal that told the other fighters to spread out and arm themselves.
"Looks like the Ace and his men has found themselves a large group of trouble.." The man at the desk slowly said..communication from the american base to their jets was highly important.
"Allies have been detected on their radar...thats good at least but I think the worse has yet too happen" The general slowly said.
The other men in the tent narrowed their eyes..awaiting..
"I want those men coming back safe and sound, NO mistakes" The general demanded, trying to get pressure of himself and giving it too the others..
"Preparing instruments.." John slowly thought too himself..the missles were armed as the fighters were ready to unleash a massive barrage of missles into the fleeing dragons. They were given the green light but something didnt seem right..if anything, the dragons werent that big in a sense and were almost a waste of a missle..they still had several more miles too go...patience..the dragons didnt know they were arriving yet..

Dynamo murmured "What now boss?"

Jacob recomposed himself, reloaded his rifle and then said "Lets get the hell out of here. Back to the elevator shaft" The group nodded and cautiously made their way back into the shaft, mounting the ladder and starting the long climb...

Julliane watched Andrew limp along hurriedly in front. She bit back her tongue, knowing that he wouldn't listen if she tried to stop him. He had made her promise not to tell anyone about his ankle and everyone was too on edge to notice. They had heard the sounds of fighting below during their decent, despite the radio call Davis having received saying that the place was clear.... She didn't like this place. Too many bad memories. She was beginning to wish she had stayed topside with Smith by the APC...

John then looked towards the computer by his side..it was time to reveal themselves. A simple command was placed in through the computer, the data being distributed throughout all the planes. After several moments..there was silence but that all changed as a giant swarm of missles ripped through the clouds before slamming into the revealed dragons, the giant blast radius killing any other dragons nearby..the missles continued to be released, several missles coming from each jet as the combined groups of American Planes unleashed hell..

A number of hellfire missiles soared through the air, aimed at various dragons pursuing the squad, a dragon dodging to the side, its ally behind it suffering its intended fate, a missile slamming into the dragon's neck, causing it to flip back, the second missile slamming into its stomach, blood splattering its allies as it cascaded down to the water below. The injured dragons finally began howling and roaring, turning around as they fled the scene completely. As much as Frank and his companions wanted to avenge their fallen comrade, more lives would be lost if the battle continued...For now, they were running low on both fuel and weaponry, but luckily Rico detected a military installation nearby, which was now their current destination. However, problems would be plenty...For one, they had no idea what was in Ireland, even if the bases contained the modern ammunition and fuel. Rico, thankfully, detected other military presence near the coast...they weren't alone. The group was now heading over the coast of Ireland, not sure whether to head for the coastal base, or to head for the military officials...Both presented negative and positive results. The base would be free ammunition and fuel, but there was a 50% chance they had outdated supplies. The military presence would have modern supplies, but might not be friendly...

two of the three soldiers left on the surface looked up into the sky with wonder, seeing the missiles striking down the dragons, bloody pieces and screams filling the air...

Inside the apc, the soldier manning the apc radioed the jets' leader "Air units, this is British ground assault team, good to have you with us... We're getting some weird stuff down here..." However, across the intended channel, a cryptic message flew "Air units, this is British ground assault team, good to have you with us. Area is mostly clear, just the small fry on the run"

The fleet of American Warships off the coast of Ireland remained in constant contact with the base inland. However, they began to detect something off radar but they werent sure what to do but in case danger broke out, the F-35's that were airborne would be notified. The numeber of warships was somewhat impressive, consisting of a large destroyer escort with a single lead battleship, the massive warship was titled Guardian..its name meant its role. The several aircraft carriers that held the numerous fighter jets were very important and should the need arise, numbers of jets would find themselves in the air in minutes.

As the American Fighters swooped in, machine guns blazing, cutting down dragons with ease as they moved at their swift speed, the coordinated attack was simply due to experience and knowledge of similar tactics..they wouldnt waste missles at the moment but the opening barrage and their current assualt was working very well at cutting down the numerous dragons that were fleeing. John however was aware of the message being sent too him..he couldnt risk responding considering communication meant attack however he could do one thing..and that was re-directing the information back to the base.

The Americans at the base watched, notified of the message. "Understood...we'll help mop out the rest of them. Please be advised, vocal communcation to the pilots is a danger.." One of the americans responded..it seems things were going well..too well..

Frank and his group neared the military presence, finding it as a better risk then crashing because of lack of fuel. Rico moved ahead, preparing a transmission to send to the forces ahead. They would stay at this range until a reply was received, not wanting to be within striking range should the military officials consider them a threat. "This is Rico VanCleef, requesting permission to refuel and resupply me and my group's vehicles, supplies running dangerously low." Rico said, sending the transmission to the military officials in hopes that they could actually refuel. They were thrown off course because of the recent attack...and now they were in a strange land they knew nothing about.

A form stirred. Below it lay a shriveled carcass of a dragon, one that was only around 10 feet long, the orange dragon's eyes rolled up into its head, skin dry, but was otherwise untouched, save for a bite mark on its neck. The form above it stared forward, gleaming white eyes looking hungrily around. The smaller dragon alone wasn't enough...nothing would ever be enough. The beast hungered, but not in any way known to dragons or their enemies. It did not hunger for flesh or blood...it hungered for something far more valuable. The form seemed to fade out've existence like a ghost, but regained its solid form soon after, disappearing into the large forested area...

There was no British response...

However, a significantly delayed message reached Corperal Davis.. Davis.... could you reactivate the Defence System for a moment?"
Davis looked up at the American jets breifly, squinting through the light and shielding his eyes from the wind whipping through the control room... He replied "Negative, friendlies in area....
He received no response...

Jacob could hear footsteps on the ladder from above, voices too and every now and again he thought he saw the flash of a light... Still, he wasn't sure, it could be one of the Goblin Dragons... Then he heard Andrew's familiar voice... "Don't let your guard down. If it was clear they wouldn't be fighting...."

Jacob immediately shouted out "Andrew! Is that you?"

A muffled voice came from above "Jacob? Yeah its me... where are you?"

One of the soldiers below took out a flash light, shining it up the shaft. The beam of light illuminating a mess of tangled girders, blocking the shaft, a few holes showing the flash lights of the other team.... Jacob shouted back "Below the blockage! It wasn't here when we first came down!"

Andrew replied "No problem, we found a tunnel going down to you guys through the corridor here."

Jacob swiftly climbed up as far as he could go, stepping off the ladder a shimming dangerously towards the elevator door, stepping in with a feeling of dread.... He looked at a sign on the wall. Floor B-13... The area was well lit by florescent lights, a strange breeze blowing through the corridor. He could see a tear like hole in the roof, which probably was the same Andrew mentioned. The rest of his squad entered the corridor, filling in behind him, holding their weapons warily

John was starting to get slightly nervous..the Americans at the base didnt recieve a response. The Ace Pilot took a swift look at the British Forces below..something wasnt right, surely there was a malfunction or something else. The Americans had no choice but to wait for the response..the Jets proceeded to continue to obliterate the fleeing dragons..it was odd they were fleeing from something but they couldnt discuss anything, their objective was to just clean the skies of enemies..

"General, we've recieved messages from this message from a Rico who is asking for permission for supplies..do we have a Rico on patrol?" The young officer asked. The General walked off to another group of americans who were attempting to figure out who this new group was. He took a brief glance at the men attempting to talk with the British. "We dont..are they with us?" The General asked.

"Could be pirates sir or maybe..guys that made it out. But its American" The officer responded. "Send a reply back..ask them who they are and what theirs objective..I dont want pirates causing trouble but if worse comes to worse, we have fighters ready to deploy in a matter of moments" The General ordered as the young officer nodded and went off to the men at the desk so they can reply to the new group.

The Naval Group awaited what was going on..they were currently working with the officers in the base inland. The Admiral and the General were close friends and would be sure to retailate to any threats in a mass, swift retailation.
