Largely unhindered, the second Sentinal surge enroute towards the nearest power source closed in on their target. Anyone who got in their way was either ambushed by the forward scouts or cut down by the Varient-B's Disintergrator blasters.

The main surge continued to push forward like a tidal wave, sweeping through the ship. However, heavy resistence encountered in choke points made progression difficult. The Sentinals were avoiding conflict as much as possible, perferring to spread out rather than hunt down and kill troopers.

Most of them moved pretty much as the crow flies, ripping through any obstructions...

the Imperials were aware of every move but gave ground just so they can further secure areas. A last stand was soon to come as proper defenses were being ready..rooms that were abandoned were slammed shut..ray shields activated to further add to the protetion. ARC Troopers took defensive poistions in areas that gave energy to the gigantic Annihilator. Defensive turrets from the cielings had already dropped them..armed and ready to be unleashed as heavily armed ARC Troopers and Dark Troopers took defensive poistions, ready to fire as soon as trouble was detected near them.

Where the last stands would take place were being armed with turrers, Dark Troopers and other ARC Troopers and while mostly the regular troopers..sacrficing soldiers was pointless..they needed good results..

Meanwhile..the Dark Lord of the Sith found himself alone..usually finding several troopers killed..their bodies just lying there. He found himself in the battle zone..all there was to do was to help finish of the remaining sentinels that were causing havor in the gigantic flagship...

"Anyone who was wounded even made it to the bridge of our ship," Crowley explained. "We do have him, however," he jerked his thumb over his shoulder, towards the Marine inside. "Ever since we were attacked, he's been going nuts."

"Ah. well, we have a well established medical facility in our colony here. they have a psychological treatment ward. with the more recent advances, i don't think there's anything they can't fix" said the Commander as he raised a hand, signalling for some assistance. immediately, a small team of paramedics arrived. "He's suffering from panic induced insanity from what i can guess. he's not completely with it. just help him to the hospital and treat him. inform me when you're done" said Ridley. the paramedic nodded, and went forward with his team towards the Pelican, to take the man. "Now, would you care to join me for a drink? i'd like to hear in detail what went on aboard your ship, to report to my superiors" said the Commander as he looked back at Crowley...

"Sure," said Crowley with a sheepish grin. "We could all use a drink, by the looks of it." "It sure beats that cryosleep crap," muttered Romero, illiciting a couple of chuckles.

Ridley chuckled, able to relate, cryosleep being applied to a degree for specialised assault teams among the Navy and Army forces, as well as some branches within the Airforce. he turned around, heading towards a large pad, as a helicopter came down, twisting as it turned to show it's side to the group, maximising the force of the engine for a few seconds until they landed, before dropping the thrust to zero and letting the rotor spin, the craft remaining stationary as the Commander boarded it, it's backdraft forcing him to shield his face until he was onboard...

Serephir slipped through the shadows, using the rocks around the area as cover as he moved closer and closer to the entrance of the temple, his machinegun set to silenced to minimise risk of detection. as he neared the entrance, he picked up a stone, aiming it to go over them and collide with the wall of the building above them. he threw it from behind cover, the stone hitting the wall and breaking apart, bits of it raining down over the men. as they looked up, he poked the barrel of his assault rifle from behind cover, shooting each of them once, in the head, killing them both instantly, before proceeding, Jack following silently, armed with a handgun, keeping his senses sharp, focused on his surroundings in case of an attack...

Meanwhile, aboard the Galactic battleship HVMS Vanguard, the admiral in charge of the Berunai defense force monitored a screen, on which was information from stealth probes monitoring the invisible border between the Galactic Empire's furthest colonies, and the Vardian Empire's latest expansion, Berunai itself. he wondered for a split second what the point was of monitoring their border against a nation that more likely than not didn't even know they existed, let alone considered worth investigating, or attacking. he quickly removed the opinion from his thoughts, knowing that, either way, his job was to fulfill his duty, and defend the Vardian Empire's borders against anyone who may pose a threat to them...

Crowley and his Marines filed aboard behind Ridley, ducking their heads against the backdraft.

Chardossk trailed closely behind Jack, lizardlike eyes staring unblinkingly towards the building, his predator sense on full alert by this point. He clutched his ACP Repeater in one hand, a grenade in the other, just in case.

as soon as everyone was on board, armour plated doors closed over the side of the craft, completely sealing it, as the internal pressurisation system went into effect, the helicopter taking off, lifting itself higher and higher, jets activating on the chopper as it got to a point where the atmosphere wasn't dense enough to provide adequate thrust through rotors, the rotor breaks activating, the rotor sloon coming to a stop, the 5 blades swivvelling round the central shaft until they all faced backwards, the shaft lowering itself into the hull, the top closing as the jets went to full power, the craft heading into space, towards the HVMS Vanguard, the ship aboard which Commander Ridley served. being the third in command of the ship, and the Admiral and Captain both planetside taking care of other affairs, it had been his responsibility to take care of the guests. though lately affairs dealing with other planets had been generalised due to the regularity of it, this particular situation was different. with these men being victims of a potentially dangerous creature, and, as later discovered, were military personnel, the Vardian Armed Forces were to watch over them, to treat them as guests and find out the events that occurred prior to Vardia's involvement in the matter, as well as attempt to establish official contact with the government whose forces these men were part of. through the wide, rectangular window on either side of the chopper, the massive Galactic Battleship could be seen, the ship resembling a smooth, streamlined version of a Star Destroyer, a wide, Cobra-like hood spreading on either side of it's nose, a small hump on the bow of the ship concealing it's most devastating weapon. it's grey hull seemed mostly plain, though the black streak down the center of the hull and greater size was enough to distinguish it among the other Galactic Destroyers. "Welcome to the HVMS Vanguard" said the Commander as they closed in, flying over it's gargantuan 25 mile long hull as they headed for the entrance to one of the hangers...

The drone emerged from the mysterious ship once again, having gathered what little knowledge it could. Life signs were present on the ship, which meant it was infested with...something. The strange blood the drone had analyzed was now being filed and would determine what was attacking the ship soon, but the drone was forced to retreat, having overheard orders to destroy the ship and whatever was on it. For now, its cloaking device activated, heading off toward the main planet, hoping to intercept communications...

Crowley and his Marines gawked at the size of the Vanguard, with the Lieutenant saying, "Our Supercarriers and Marathon-class Cruisers only hit 3,000 meters, at the most! How'd you make something like that?"

Meanwhile, in orbit around Trandosha, General Grievous patrolled the corridors of his new flagship, the Malevolence. The 20-kilometer-long craft was completely unique in appearance, at least among the TGDA ships. It bristled with hundreds of double turbolaser batteries and proton torpedo launchers, but it had an even deadlier weapon at its disposal, one that Grievous was sure would take out just about anything Revan decided to throw at him...

Ridley shrugged. "I was told that a large number of it's armoured plates are made in a single mold, to increase integrity of the hull. beyond that, i don't know. technology's far beyond anything we have in the civil sectors. i'm not really a specialist in Warship design. all i know is it's really big, really powerful and capable of carrying daunting amounts of troops and equipment. it's one of the larger ships in our fleet" he said with a chuckle...

"I can tell..." replied Crowley. Turning to Ridley, he asked, "Why do you need such a big ship anyway?" He wanted to know everything there was to know about this new galaxy, and not just the vicious, scythe-wielding aliens that had attacked before.

"It has room for more firepower, and can carry enough troops to operate a small invasion on it's own. the only downside to it is that it's a bigger target for enemies to hit, but we're currently working on advancing our defence systems to counter the risk that poses" said Ridley...

"Could you give it shields?" asked Crowley. He didn't know much about the project, but he did know that ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) was almost done with creating energy shielding for their ships, similar to those used by Covenant craft.

"We did that ages ago, even before achieving space travel. it was just a matter of applying it on a larger scale. sadly, it appears it isn't advanced enough to hold out the firepower we're up against. though our first encounter was a misunderstanding, it was still a frightening sign. attacks by ships from a race who call themselves the Galactic Empire were held off fairly well....but another, the Koult...our Flagship was being bombarded and it didn't take long for them to penetrate it's shields. our Chief Commanding General has put the order in to Vardian High Command to start research on any and all potential shielding methods to replace the current shields, due to their inadequecy. should a war break out between the Koult and Vardians, with the current shielding, we'd have to depend on faster firing rates. waiting for them to strike first and retaliate afterwards would result in our Starforce being wiped out" said Ridley as he looked out the window of the craft, watching as the sleek hull panels of the Vanguard went past as the ship flew on towards the hanger...

"Ooh, the Galactic Empire!" said Jones in mock fear. "Shut it, Jones," snapped Crowley, exasperated. "They may be tougher than you think." Turning back to Ridley, he said, "You have any allies? Sounds like you could use some help."

"Revan and the Death Star are currently dealing with enemy oppoistion here Admiral" A young officer stated. Admiral Kaine looked towards the holographic map..footage of the battle revealed the power of the Death Star..there was no doubt with that battle station now..nothing could stop them. If anything..Grevious should have been the first victims but it seemed once more then proper demonstrations were required.
"The Armada is still ready for combat and we have countless of other ships in the blockaide and the colonies alone..there's nothing to fear when it comes to invasion" The officer responded.
"Revan's advancements to the Annihilator and the other Executor Class Star Dreadnoughts are currently in progress..those ships used to be considered invincible to the point enemies would surrender on sight..goes to show that times have changed. Fear is not a weapon..but with the Death Star we can minimize our losses" Kaine replied.
"Why dont you just attack Grevious with your fleet..we only been sending in Task Forces..no major fleets in a sense" The younger officer said, knowing full well of the presence and combat history of the expirenced admiral.
"Grevious is tough..were fighting on their home turf plus..the new allies they gained are a mystery. Remember..sending men to their deaths is not what I prefer..ships can be replaced, soldiers can be easily bred but their is a morale sense of things.." Kaine stated in response before looking towards an open view window..outside revealed to be numerous ammount of ship on patrol..the heavily defended blockaide that protected the main territory from enemy assualts was thriving..the colonies had their protection but not enough..colonies often didnt last long which meant the Imperials constantly had to work hard. Still..Kaine did want another shot back at Grevious...

On board the Malevolence, the door to the surprisingly large bridge opened, and Grievous stepped inside, flanked by two Magnaguards. He walked up to a raised platform in the center of the bridge, which had five circular computer screens and four stations arranged around it in a semi-circle. At each station was close to a dozen blue-marked pilot droids, all working busily and mostly ignoring Grievous and his bodyguards as they stepped up to the command platform. In front of the cyborg general was a viewport, looking out into the vacuum, as well as the many cruisers and battleships that flanked his new ship. If Grievous had a mouth, he would have grinned with pleasure. His kind had surely outdone themselves with this ship. It wasn't the biggest ship, but then again, size didn't always matter...

"Currently, our only true ally is the Trando-Geo Droid Alliance. it was in there defense that we engaged the Empire, though our allies held them off sufficiently. we were there as insurance" said the Commander, as the craft slowed, stopping and descending, darkness befalling the craft as the internal lights went on, flashes coming through the window every couple of seconds as they passed one of the shaft's lights, before entering a massive chamber with craft of all sorts packed along it's walls, the ground below almost literally crawling as hundreds of mechanics and engineers worked on the numerous craft, ensuring they were in prine condition...

While the marines looked down into the hangar, wide-eyed, Crowley said, "Trando-Geo Droid Alliance? That's a mouthful... Who are the Trandos and Geos?"
