A small squadron of TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers appeared from the skies, racing towards the planet surface below..the bombers fully armed with gravity bombs and regular highly explosive bombs. If they couldnt attack the creature while it was hidden under ground..they would force it out, then kill it. The Imperials then slowly proceeded to move deeper into the city..trying to use the buildigns for cover..

A red bolt zipped from a nearby rooftop, slamming into an Imperial Stormtrooper's head and killing him instantly. The Assassin Droid, identical to a B1 except with camouflage patterns on its chassis, turned away, heading down from the rooftop to report back to the rest of the troops, and also find a new spot to snipe from...

A messneger barged into the council room. The millitary advisor, fitted in suited black and red armor asked in his ussual short temperedness "What be the meaning of this?!" The messenger, breathless blurted out "Our colonies on the outer rim of the system have detected a fleet, Koult! They may be headed here, our fears have been realised!" The advior hissed unde his breath "Great Gastkroal, help us now, supply the fire in our veins..." The messenger implored "Sirs!?" The advisor replied "Ready our forces, we DO want to keep the Koult as allies, but we ont want to be sitting Falrocs after gourging them selves"

The beast now converged on the city, out of the underground completely, attacking anything that moved, only occasionally clipping a building with its claws or body. The second behemoth was swinging wildly, flinging droids left and right, but was slowly being overwhelmed by their firepower...

In one of the larger holes in the earth, sounds could be heard from within...but not the moving of earth or growls of the now-above ground behemoths. Orders being barked, sounds of large movement...the beasts were not alone.

Mal'Ganis waited inside the market building, heading out the back way before leaping into yet another shop, the shop owner taking shelter below the store itself. Mal'Ganis waited, making sure he wasn't followed...

The TIE Bombers proceeded to attack the beasts that were threatning the Imperial troopers. Highly explosive bombs were dropped into holes and laser guided bombs then pounded into the beast should it reveal itself. Straffing runs by TIE Fighters also managed to appear..The empire could not afford to lose.

OOC: There is one "beast" attacking the droids, and one attacking the Imperials, so ya...And none are underground, the ones attacking are both above ground. It was just sounds coming from below.

The sounds below didn't stop, the bombs simply detonating on the sides of the tunnels, which were a small part of the massive tunnel complexes. The sounds were barely audible by any others, drowned out by the attacks currently going on. The beast attacking the Imperials roared in pain as a few explosives slammed against its metal-armored back, turning around to see the air units. Unable to strike any aerial enemies, the beast turned back to its original destruction, attacking any and all moving beings it found...

TGDA Gunships dropped powerful missiles onto the attacking beast, enveloping the weakened creature in a massive explosion.

A tendril of red energy cracked against the edge of the shop's roof, tearing off a small chunk of rock and metal. The energy tendril extended towards one of the two MagnaGuards' Lightwhip hilts. Both droids were standing on an opposite building's roof, having spotted Mal'Ganis as he emerged topside and leaped down to meet him. The first MagnaGuard spoke in a deep voice, "Stand down, Jedi."

"I don't think so..." Mal'Ganis growled, slamming his hands against the ground, causing a shockwave of force energy, knocking the droids off their feet. Swinging around, the Jedi threw his saber forward while running, slicing open the window to the shop, leaping into the air to catch his saber while also rolling through the now-opened window, landing in a crouch outside of the shop, force jumping onto the next building's roof...

The beast roared in agony, not expecting the aerial assault, swinging one massive claw up, slicing through the wing of a gunship before collapsing in a heap, crushing anything unlucky enough to be near it...

The two droids swiftly got to their feet, then raced after Mal'Ganis, leaping with surprising agility through the open window, then springing up onto the roof, lashing their Lightwhips at his feet in an attempt to trip him up before he got too far.

The Gunship, which had a round disc-shaped object that provided thrust and lift for the ship, dipped to the side, but managed to stay airborne, despite losing a portion of its payload, which was situated underneath the repulsor disc. The droid army continued its march through the city, trying to gain as much ground as possible before the Imperials.

The Malevolence quickly arrived, near the regrouped scout force, which had been waiting on the opposite side of the planet from the Empire's fleet. Grievous immediately ordered OOM-6 to come aboard, while he dealt with the situation on the ground, this time in a much more vicious manner...

Mal'Ganis sprung himself into the air, dodging the laser weapon, now upside down in mid-air, thrusting a hand forward as a force blast knocked the droids back. Landing in a crouch once again, Mal'Ganis ran forward, dropping down into yet another shop from a skylight, hoping the sudden change would confuse the droids, who weren't able to see where exactly he had gone...

The MagnaGuards, starting to get frustrated, set their Lightwhips from stun to kill. They split up, one heading the way Mal'Ganis had gone, and one dropping down onto the street to see if the Zabrak Jedi had gone that way...

The Soulless One was quick to land on the planet, next to the city. Grievous leaped out of the cockpit, two inactivated Lightsabers already in his hands. "Time for a hunt..." he snarled, heading off into the city to search for his easily-tracked MagnaGuards, and the Jedi they were chasing.

Suddenly, a rocketing saber crashed through the shop window, impaling the head of the droid, pinning it against another building's wall. Mal'Ganis lept out of the window, bolting forward as he pulled the saber from the droid's head, slashing its chest three times before it could recover, its chest now scorched, the blade having dug into its sides with each slash. Kicking off the droid, which caused it to once again smash into the wall, Mal'Ganis landed with a roll, now behind the corner from the sight of the attack, waiting...

The scarred, but still operational, droid staggered to its feet, Lightwhip activating and illuminating the shop with an eerie red glow. The droid crouched, releasing a pair of missiles from a hidden launcher in its back, which slammed into the floor of the shop in a large explosion, hoping to draw out the Jedi, as well as get the attention of the second MagnaGuard.

Grievous, who was making his way through the droid-occupied streets, heard a distant thump, immediately heading in that direction...

Mal'Ganis suddenly slashed the pillar holding up the small overhanging part of the shop, causing the small roof of concrete to collapse, shielding him from view as he bolted down the street, leaping into the air as he grabbed onto the top of a building, pulling himself up before leaping back down into an alley between the many buildings...

The MagnaGuard outside had seen Mal'Ganis flee, and leaped over the roof after him, lashing out with its Lightwhip, which slashed Mal'Ganis' back, though it was far from a fatal blow. The droid raced after the Jedi into the alleyway, Lightwhip hissing menacingly.

Snarling, Mal'Ganis hit the alley ground, and immediately pushed off the ground, rocketing back toward the droid suddenly, slashing its arm clean off, as well as slashing its head almost completely off before rocketing past it, landing on the roof behind it, immediately continuing his run...

The wounded droid's head toppled off its shoulders, but it still managed to spin around and bound after Mal'Ganis, who had run straight into the first MagnaGuard, who's Lightwhip cracked menacingly at the Jedi. Before either droid could attack, however, a gruff voice barked, "Stand down! This one is mine!" General Grievous stood on the roof nearby, staring down at Mal'Ganis coldly. "Jedi! You are surrounded by my armies! Escape is inevitable! But know that I, General Grievous, am not without mercy. I will grant you a warrior's death. Prepare!" Both Lightsabers in the cyborg general's clawed hands activated, their blue and green blades giving Grievous' face a menacing sheen.

"I escaped the Empire's fleet in one of their own ships, and you think a bunch of droids will stop me?" Mal'Ganis growled, laughing. For now, the lighsaber remained extended only on one side, the Jedi holding the blade back in a unique saber fighting stance, waiting for the cyborg to make the first move...

Grievous chuckled, casually hopping to the ground, before crouching in a defensive stance. "I am much worse than the pitiful Empire, Jedi scum. Of that, I can assure you." He slowly walked forward, hands spinning on their axis, the sabers' blades making a swirling ring of color and driving ruts into the ground before him, as he stalked menacingly forward, towards Mal'Ganis.

Mal'Ganis lifted a hand, causing a nearby rock to smash into the cyborg's hand, causing his own sabers to clash, the Jedi making an opening for attack on the cyborg's left side, leaping into the air as he swung the saber down, attempting to cut off the exposed arm.
