laser bolts began to whizz towards Chardossk as Serephir stepped back until his hands could touch the two victims. "NO!" yelled Markus as he lunged with his staff, the tip of which had split to reveal a teardrop shaped, double ended axe. it was too late, Serephir had jumped back, and then leapt for the balconey, his grip firm on the arms of Jack's parents. helanded on the balconey, beside Jack and Chardossk. "Time to get out of here" he said as he drew his sword. suddenly, a large green energy bolt was launched at them. Serephir jumped, using his sword's unique construction as a mirror of sorts, to deflect the bolt, sending it back down at the shooter, who jumped out of the way. Serephir walked in off the balconey and into the hallway behind him, dusting himself off and sheathing the sword, drawing his assault rifle, shooting two of the robed men as they rounded the corner. he walked onwards until he reached what he guessed was a changing room, which was filled with several wetsuit-like spacesuits. these were red and black in colour, most likely to indicate they were part of the Cult. Serephir tapped his gauntlet, a thin laser coming forth, which he then used to slice through the chains and cuffs that bound the hands of Jack's parents. "Quick. inside, change, and out" said Serephir as he deactivated the laser, which then slid back into his gauntlet. they nodded, going inside and swiftly changing, as Serephir watched for attackers. they hadn't hooked up a security system, so, with the size of the building, they had more or less lost their pursuers...

Chardossk swiftly ducked inside the changing room, changing swiftly into a space suit and stepping back outside, ACP Repeater in hand. "Where to now?" he asked.

"Out of here" said Serephir. he tapped his gauntlet computer, typing a few things into it, the gauntlet then closing as his helmet came up over his head and sealed itself again. Jack and his parents followed, moving together. as they reached the entrance, four large men blocked their path, armed with large laser-blades, which reminded Serephir slightly of the Lightsabers that Grievous had used. he smirked and drew a sword, going straight at them. they swung their swords at him, attempting to hack him to pieces. at the last minute he jumped backwards, the four missing, Serephir throwing his sword straight into the face of one of them before shooting the other three in the chest a few times, stunning them, before grabbing onto his sword and spinning, the blade freeing itself from the wall and the skull of it's last victim, and beheading the other three. "Let's go!" said Serephir as he went out the door, the escort craft hovering in front of him, the door sliding open, two marines standing in the airlock and carrying machineguns, ready to supply supporting fire. suddenly, 6 of the men and Markus charged out, weapons blazing, the marines firing back, but soon being overwhelmed. "Inside!" said Serephir as he turned to block the men's way. they tried to shoot him, but the moment they pointed their weapons at him, they were pulled from their hands, being crushed into oblivion before their eyes. as the men drew their blades, Serephir moved, dashing forward with daunting speed, beheading them as they stood, some attempting to block his blows, Serephir bringing his other sword into play and slicing them in half from the unprotected side. finally, Markus was the only one left. he stared at Serephir venomously. "I trusted you, Serephir....at one time...you were my best soldier...you were THE perfect soldier. intelligent...skilled...you had a tactical mind to rival the wisest of our Lords. i gave you that power....and now...this is how i'm repaid?" said Markus. "Perhaps, had you not been the follower of a sadistic, murderous, bloodthirsty animal like the Emperor, this wouldn't have happened. Vardia wouldn't last a day under his rule...not with the kind of power out there. fools who follow your philosophy are destined to die out. if not on a planetary level, then on an interstellar one. i challenge anyone to follow your beliefs and survive the kind of power out there" said Serephir as he sheathed his blades. the golden robed man knew what this meant. hand to hand. he threw his robe aside, revealing a white suit of armour, a logo revealed on his chest. a symbol. a 6 pointed star with two scythes inside, crossing eachother. above them was a crescent, upon which was a crown. as the man stepped forward, assuming an aggressive stance, Serephir chose defensive. the man reached to punch Serephir, but the blow was parried by Serephir's fist as he knocked the hand aside, and coutered with his own blow, though Markus moved his head to the side and reached to hold onto Serephir's arm, twisting and heaving Serephir into the air, only to discover that Serephir had grabbed ahold of his neck, his grip stopping the man from throwing him and letting him land in front of Markus, kneeing him as he did so, Markus bending over as he ws winded. Serephir kneed him in the face, causing him to stand straight again, covering his face as Serephir twisted and tripped him, crouching over the falling man and swiftly landing a moderately hard blow to the head, knocking the man out. Serephir straightened up, and threw the unconscious man into the airlock, getting in and closing the airlock, before entering the craft itself, giving the order for an orbital bombardment from the fleet. as the transport vessel took off and left the planet, several large variously coloured laser bolts rained down on the temple, obliterating it entirely. Serephir took the unconscious Lord Markus to the brig, putting him in and activating the force field blocking the entrance, while Jack sat with his parents in the main chamber of the vessel...

"Well recently Vardia's been mobilising it's forces. chances are we're prepared for an attack. they won't be able to get onto the planet too easily" said the Commander. "Still, we'll make sure we keep our eyes open. now, do you have the coordinates of your colony in this galaxy?" he asked as he took another sip of his drink...

Blaze walked after Thara calmly, Jarmun and Jarad following, all of them armed. Blaze was probably the one looking forward to it the most, Jarmun and Jarad having visited planets like this before, and Thara and Arqueek being aparent veterans in comparison to him...

Chardossk sat in the main chamber of the ship as well, leaning against the wall. "That was too easy..." he hissed. "I expected a challenge, not some amateur militiamen!"

The koultian battleship began readying its weapons. It was shaped like two perpendicular crescents, just like the Eclipse that attacked the Vardian flagship. 4 panels slid back, located around the ships centre at each of the corners, long range plasma cannons extending out.... The cannons locked into place.... Each battery had 3 cannons grouped into the one weapon. One by one, they opened fire, by the time the chain was finished, the first having been loaded again, supplying an unending barrage of shells... The shells zipped into the distance, towards the Xoridian blockade, nearly a parasec and a half away. It was unlikely for the Xoridians weapons to reach them from here, so it would force them to leave Xoridia and try fight the fleet in neutral space...

"Well from what i can see, i have a hunch it goes far beyond these cultists. i took note of a few things inside there that hinted towards outside forces. they've got ALOT of funding coming from somewhere, and i wouldn't be surprised if they've got themselves their own miniature army. that's why i took Markus. he's going to be interrogated" said Serephir as he walked into the room and took a seat. "Thank you, General! thanks for the help! we don't know how we can repay you" said Jack's parents as they walked towards him. "Well for a start i'd like to know your names" said Serephir as he looked up at them, gesturing towards the seats. they were slightly bewildered at the question, but answered. "Ravar and Illera Meldaro" said the man. "Alright. now at least i have names to call you by" sais Serephir with a light smirk. "Where's our son? Michael?" asked Illera. "Blaze? he's pursuing a life as a privateer in space. He's acting as an agent for me, giving me information on various factions and their general attitude towards outsiders. various kinds of information that we might find useful in attempting to establish ties with other Empires. he's really helping Vardia. you should be proud" said Serephir. the parents smiled, and said "Did he mention coming back?". "He'll come back eventually. for now though, he's driven by the urge to explore. he's with a crew who served me well during my addmitedly short mission in space. he's in good hands" responded Serephir with a smile. "Could i sign up for the VAMCEB?" asked Jack in the background. Serephir looked at him and said "Well, it's not exactly the best job in the world, but if you really want, i suppose i could give you a shot. finish your studies first though. An uneducated soldier is a useless soldier these days"...

The War ships braced their sheilds for the starboard broad side while thye prepared their own munnitions. The pannels on the side of the ships pushed foward and then to the side, 4 large mortar barrels moving out and locking into place. The process took place in complete unison and with a flash of green, the mortars fired into the distance, the large guns being reloaded and cooled down instantly, the volley firing at almost the same pace as the Koult....

Chardossk stood, pacing now, in the background, waiting to be able to do something. It might be fun interrogating Markus, but he doubted he could get anything out of him...

On Trandosha, in the underlevels of Vassek, Grievous was also pacing in front of A-4D. "D*mned planet... if it wasn't for them, I would have been victorious!" He waved his clawed hand dismissively. "As if it was important. The only real interesting thing on that rock was the Jedi." A-4D said, "You ought to make more friends, Master. You might live longer." Grievous stopped pacing, thinking. "Hmmm... Maybe that planet I invaded with the Empire. They can fight well..."

Mal'Ganis, now unable to be tracked by the Empire or any others, relaxed as the ship headed into deep space, away from the Empire and any other factions he knew about. The Jedi was half asleep at this point, the auto-pilot keeping the ship on track, starting to give in to his exhaustion. Soon he would need to find a planet to resupply on, but with such fresh supplies, it wouldn't be in the near future, which he was thankful. Last time he had to make an emergency resupplying run, he ended up with an Imperial fleet on his tail...

As Revan prepared to deal the finishing blows, clutching his lightsaber with both hands as he closd in, raising the deadly weapon above his hand, ready to swing downward as soon as he was in range..

Meanwhile, Imperial High Command had been settled down. Communications between the Death Star and the Imperial Blockaid. The mysterious and odd arival of the non-human Grand Admiral was starting to place in orders in case any hostile actions were soon to take place. If anything..combat data was given to Imperial Tacticians so they would them have no choice but to figure out a way to destroy Grevious's new weapon. The Death Star itself had two options at the moment..

It could head on towards the mysterious planet..capture or kill the Jedi and then proceed to set the planet abalze or destroy it entirely for the loss of men and the death of Admiral Kaine or..the Imperials could proceed to head into Geonosis, destroy the planet itself and then perpare a mass invasion of Trandosha. With the Death Star completed..there was no need to capture anything..if anything..revenge was one thing.

Even Grevious's new allies and thick defenses were no match for the fully operation battlestation whose epic size and defenses were too much..the countless defenses of the battle station were made to keep the Death Star invincible..

Grievous sat down at a smallish console, tapping in commands idly, with A-4D behind him. "For now," explained Grievous. "I will bide my time. The death of that Admiral is sure to shake up the Imperial leadership, and possibly Revan himself. I may need to talk with General Serephir again..." "Finally, a good idea!" "Silence, droid! I don't need your snide comments!"

As the Rapid Reaction Transport craft landed in the hanger of one of the Reaper-class Galactic Destroyers, Serephir looked at Jack, Ravar and Illera. "I'd advise you lay low for a while. we don't know how many of these...cultists, we're dealing with. or where they're based, or even how many other political figures they have in their pockets. Rick and his father are out of the picture now. i'll see to it they recieve the maximum penalty. I could rent you a flat in the same building i live in. very well furnished, about as good as having a house. if i take care of the proceedings nobody will have to know you're there" he said. Ravar stared in surprise. "You'd be willing to do that for us?" he asked. "Thank Blaze's antics for that" he said with a chuckle. "I...I dunno what to say-" said Ravar as Serephir raised a hand, as if telling him to stop speaking. "You don't need to say anything. It'd be my pleasure to give you guys a hand" said Serephir, as he stood from his place as the door opened. "Now, I'm going to have some Marines move Markus to a high security vessel and take him back to Vardia. Chardossk, if you don't mind, I'd like you to stay here and keep an eye on them while i make sure Markus is moved to the vessel safely". three marines entered the vessel and gave him a salute as he finished his sentence. he returned it and said "i need a high security vessel prepped and ready to leave for Vardia as soon as possible. inform the Commander in charge that we're escorting a high priority criminal". "Yes, sir" said one of the soldiers, before leaving to follow the General's orders...

Soon, the two ships were ready for the trip to Vardia. they were all equipped with hyperdives, and were fairly well armed, being military vessels. Serephir reboarded the Transport Craft, having personally escorted Markus, along with two Marines, to a high security cell, and taking the key to the cell with him, leaving the guards to watch Markus. they were on orders not to speak with him at all should he attempt to communicate, and were to make sure nobody else attempted to speak with him either. the door closed behind him, and he looked at Jack, Ravar, Illera and Chardossk. he walked towards the table in one corner of the main chamber of the ship, and sat down in a seat, pressing a button on the table. "Alright. let's get back to Vardia" he said, letting go of the button, cutting off the com link to the cockpit, which was closed off. the entrance to the ship was closed, and the engines started, as they prepared to leave...

Crowley thought for a moment, then snapped his fingers. "Aha! Yeah, I have them. I stored them in a disc when we were attacked, just in case the aliens got to them, if they could." He rummaged in one of his uniform's pockets, pulling out a clear case, with a disc inside. "Here," he said, handing it to Ridley.

Chardossk leaned back against the ship wall to relax, when a beep sounded from his pocket. He swiftly pulled out a holoprojector, which had three pointed legs and a round, blue top. Chardossk put it on the ground of the ship, where it magnetically locked in place and produced a large blue hologram of General Grievous. Chardossk immediately saluted, and Grievous waved his hand. "At ease, Lieutenant. Where is General Serephir? I wish to speak with him." The hologram had its back to Serephir, as well as Jack and his parents, so Grievous couldn't see them.

"Ah, General Grievous. it's been a while" said Serephir calmly from his seat in front of the table. Jack and his parents stared at the Cyborg for a moment before looking away, deciding it best not to interfere with affairs not conscerning them...

"Excellent" said Ridley as he took the CD, looking at it for a moment, and then putting it on the side table. "As soon as you and your men have recovered, should you choose, we will have you taken to that colony, escorted by one of our Destroyers. it'll give us a chance to establish ties with your government"...

"That'd be pretty useful, I say," replied Crowley. "We'll need all the help we can get."

Grievous' hologram turned to face Serephir, then said, "Long time no see, General. I have a favor to ask of you." He added, after seeing the other three passengers, "After you are through with whatever business you have here, of course."

"That's settled then" said Ridley as he relaxed in his chair. "Now, Gentlemen. your friend will probably need another few days to recover completely. what would you like to do in the mean time? unless of course your Government would preffer you return to your posts immediately and let your friend come when he's recovered?" said the Commander...

Serephir nodded calmly. "Of course. it's not a problem. what is it you need?" he said as he leaned forward in his chair, putting his elbows on the table and interlocking his fingers in concentration...

"More Empire troubles," replied Grievous. "They seem to be particularly active lately, as they tried to battle us over control of a small planet nearby, but I managed to destroy their fleet, and one of their major Admirals. I may need assistance if they decide to attack full force again. My new flagship, the Malevolence, should be able to handle most of the trouble, but they probably know of it by now. I request help from you and the Vardian military, to help defend my planets until further notice." He folded his arms behind his back, underneath his cloak, not bothering about the details regarding the battle planetside...

Crowley leaned back, sighing in relaxation. "I'm sure the brass at Conga won't mind us being gone a couple more days," he said with a chuckle.

The Commander chuckled, before downing the last of his drink, snapping his fingers to get one of the Drink Droids' attention. he put his drink on the tray on the Droid's head, the Droid producing another glass of the drink. "Well then, what would you like to do with your short term vacation?" he asked...

"Hmm...request granted, General. i have a meeting with the King in a few hours. i'll explain the situation. I'll consider the forces we can spare at the moment, and have an adequate fleet organised for the mission" said Serephir calmly. "Anything worth noting?" he asked. he wanted to know of any particularly threatening forces that might come into play in case of a battle, so that he could prepare for them properly...

"Unfortunately, no," replied Grievous, shifting on his clawed feet. "Obviously the Annihilator could be a problem, if I don't destroy it myself, of course. The Empire is well-known for creating particularly powerful superweapons in the past, and they may try to use that against me."

Crowley shrugged. "Honestly, I don't know. Haven't exactly been around the galaxy much."

"Well, I don't know how long it'll take for my Flagship to be repaired, as i'm not sure whether the automated repair systems have been organised yet. if so, you'll have a fairly effective anti-super weapon present in a matter of days. the only downside is that we have yet to discover a really effective shielding system for it. though our tests based on what we have assumed to be Imperial technology have the Executioner passing with flying colours, combat data with the misunderstanding a little while ago with the Koult left the Executioner heavily damaged on one side. how much more advanced the Koult are than the empire in terms of weaponry, i can't really say. but if there are other aggressive factions out there with weaponry like what was used against us, we may require some help in advancing our shielding technology" said Serephir...

"Well, what would you consider a good time. you into tourism? exploring? you like recreational activities? you know. Vardia has alot to offer if you know what you're looking for" said the Commander as he drank the soft drink the Droid had given him...
