Carter hopped in the back, sitting next to Velkor. Gunther fell in on the other side, leaning on Wisp. He looked up at her, giggling. "Heeeeeey Mistreeeeeees..." He started to hum 'Here comes the bride.'
Carter looked down, shaking his head.

Wisp looked back and forth, confused, before unsuredly patting Gunther on the head. "...Hi?"

Korso! Desh called out to the priest as he passed into view. He could see in the distance as his friend lifted his head and looked around before noticing the werewolf and began waving. Desh winced slightly from a sudden jolt in his the back of his mind but shaking it off he got up and walked over to his friend and lifted his arm over his shoulder to help him walk. So why did you come here? Korso asked. And what happened back there? Desh shrugged, I dont know... my first instinct i guess... as for what happened... i dont know it was diffrent from any other times that it happened. Korso simply looked on as he got lost in wonder and thought. What are you thinking about? Desh asked. Hm? Oh nothing just wondering where we can go to get away from those nasties. The priest responded as the cross bumped off a piece of debris. Desh returned his attention to the task at hand as he carried his friend along. Well the city is in bad shape from what i remember of it, i wonder if any of the safehouses are still intact. Desh stated. We'll just have to check all of them until we find one that'll suit us. Korso smirked, Well then lead on oh fearless leader. His comment was returned with a chuckle from the werewolf but the rest of the trip became silent.

Pyro caught himself daydreaming and quickly snapped out of the reverie. He glanced at the smoldering plane; half of it was still on fire, though it was getting smaller, but it didn't matter. He could keep something this big going for months if he had to. There was a moment when he heard the faintest of buzzing sounds, but it turned out to be a bees nest. He stood up and went to the shoreline, still keeping their beacon in sight, and stared out to the very end of the horizon, almost feeling bored...

Rapidly approaching, several helicopters approaching towards the island. They were still a few miles off but they were closing in...using swift life detectators to scan through islands before moving on. However...in the earth's orbit was one of the assassin satalties. They were moving around...searching for the missing assassins. When the crashed plane was found...the data was quick to be sent to the choopers. The choopers were coming...

The Land Cruiser shot out of the safehouse's lot, turning sharply onto the main road, and making a beeline for a highway, heading for the warehouse, which was on the borders of Miami, Metallica's Holier than Thou playing on the SUV's built in playlist...

"Oh brother you guys are just stuffed up with punk rock junk," Thanatos commented. Diana chuckled. Nyx tried unsuccessfully to keep a smile down. "So, do we have a plan?"

A small russet bat hovered over Siete's head as he finished his meal. He turned and glared up at the bat before walking slowly back to lean against the warehouse wall. "I should've known you'd show up," he hissed up at the creature. The bat squeeked in answer then landed at Siete's feet. The bat slowly turned into a drop-dead gorgeous woman with blood red hair. "I'm always here for you Siete," she purred...

Dammit! Desh snarled as he stared down at the caved in entrance of one of his once safest, safe-houses. Rubble and debris blocked the entrance who knew what was inside. With this and the last one gone that leaves us with three choices. the werewolf stated. Well then lets not waste anytime lets go find 'em. Korso said as he began to turn back around out of the alley but found that Desh didnt follow. Its not that simple, the last three are too widely spread out in a triangle pattern we wouldnt be able to get to them without drawining unwanted attention. Desh explained. Hmm... maybe... i wondered if the prison sector of the Biotech biulding is still intact. Thats still pretty close... not the best defensively but its shelter. Korso shrugged, I go where you go and in this case i really have no choice, the preacher commented as he slightly lifted his injured leg before putting it down weakly. Desh looked down at the priest leg then back up again. Alright, so we'll back track and they might have medical stuff there, we could fix up your leg. Korso nodded. Sounds like a plan, he chuckled.

Despite it being in the middle of the night Vincent wore his sleek sunglasses out in the moonlight. "Tell me again why we had to relocate?" Nik asked as they walked down the rubble ridden street. "We were sought out, besides we have to keep a low profile if worse comes to worse," Vincent answered. "Right, so why here?" Nik asked again. "It's the new Trannsylvania," Vincent said. "The vampire kingdom, we'll be safe here." "Safe, no such thing as d*** safety," Nik muttered. "Quit your insistant muttering and help me scout out a place to sleep," Vincent said...

Draco sat up..."There here..." The Dhampir said lowly. Several choppers have finally arrived, the customized hulls clearly defining themselves. Several assassins in each one were wielding a variety of weapons, from guns to blades. One of them landed as the rest flew around the island. "Somehow...I knew your too good to die from getting lost or whatever happened..." One of the lead assassins said. He took a swift look around...they reconized the injured assassin but took notice of the demon but a quick glare from Draco made sure no action was issued.

"I need to get to Miami...I was following a boat full of expirements heading towards Florida...its a long story but we found ourselves here" Draco stated.

The head assassin slowly nodded but there was a brief silence, they had no problem taking the injured assassin but they still had the demon who was in the area...

"in situations like this running in and aimlessly shooting everybody would raise the alarm too early...we need to be careful...slipping up will lose our chance at getting the targets and put us in danger. now, the Warehouse isn't far now. we're going through the side entrance used for staff access when the main entrance is crawling with trucks. this place is abandoned, so there won't be any civilians there. however, the front entrance will be guarded. sources tell me 4 guys watch it. two by the entrance and two in the small guard's quarters nearby. the other entrance is mostly ignored. it's closed and chained, but that shouldn't be a problem for us. we'll park the vehicle a couple of blocks away so we're not recognised. we'll go through the side entrance and use the containers lying around as cover. i'll scout ahead and eliminate any groups of people standing in the way. you guys just sit back until we reach the meeting spot. Siete should be waiting there, so we'll be able to take care of him there. we have roughly two hours before Zerenski's scheduled to meet him, so that gives us enough time to bash his face in. i'm sure you all know Vampires can smell blood almost as well as sharks can, so we need to keep the bloodshed to a minimum. bludgeoning or completely draining anyone we actually DO get into a confrontation with. that way Zerenski and his guards can't sniff us out beforehand. inside the meeting spot you can go ahead with it if needed. Siete's not exactly an easy guy to fight. but we'll need to end it fast so we can move before Zerenski's close enough to smell it. we'll need to be able to ambush him from behind just as he discovers something's wrong, or before that" said Drake as he drove, slowing down and turning the radio off to make sure everyone could hear him...they were closing in on the drop off point...

"Yeah, yeah," muttered Velkor. "When she means 'wing it,' she means 'improvise,' not run aimlessly around, shooting people. Of course, that can always be a backup plan..."

Nyx blinked. "Shouldn't you have back-up?" she asked uncertainly. "Come on, let the guy kill himself," Diana teased. Nyx turned and glared at Diana. "What if Siete's not alone, I mean besides the gaurds and junk?"

"You've constantly been a thorn in my side, Lilith," Siete snarled. "But I think our partnership could really pay off." Lilith smiled wickedly. "So you said you were meeting with Zerenski?" she asked. "In a couple of hours," Siete replied. Lilith smiled then started pacing in front of him.

This place has become a ghost town, other than the demons i havent seen a single person. Desh stated gloomily. Korso on the other hand remained silent and after letting his thoughts drift Desh too fell silent. The biulding seemed so much closer when we were moving away from it, how long will this take? Korso asked. We're almost there just calm down. Desh said before the two went silent again. There was a clear depresed aura around Desh and Korso knew it what could lead this wolf to have so little faith in life he wondered.

"I only meant that on our way TO Siete. to clear the path for you guys so you're in peak condition when we fight him" said Drake as he slowed down. "And to further that, i've taken the possibility of more friends with him, however unlikely it might be. if there's more of them than there is of us, we'll have to do it carefully. stealthily. but we can worry about that when it comes. sources tell me he left his base alone, so unless he managed to contact someone on the way, he'll be alone". Drake pulled over, saying "OK Guys. you get off here, i'll go put the car somewhere nobody'll notice. i'll be back in a minute"...

Gunther leaned more on Wisp, laughing very loudly. It was a border line cackle. "Chur' funneh...." Carter looked at him for just a moment, then turned to Drake. "I left all my weapons in the dirt."

_____________________________________________________________

Rokhan finally figured it out, obtaining what he was trying to do. He pressed the 'call' button, and put the phone to his ear, trying to call Siete. "... Boss mon."

___________________________________________________________

When John awoke, his head felt dizzy. He was sweating, coughing, and felt like he may have a fever. Before he could see anything behind the blinding white light, he felt something cold around his arms. He tried to move them, but failed as he realized they were being held down by some sort of metal at his sides. He also tried to move his feet, but felt the same sort of Clammy metal. Other than that, the only thing he could feel was a rough wood underneath him, and some sort of strange prickling sensation on his chest. He tried to hear something, anything. All he heard was the sound of crying babies.

"Good evening John."

After a couple of seconds, his vision slightly returned. It was blurry, but he could make out his body. He was laid out in nothing but Boxers, in what appeared to be some sort of Crib. Not any kind of Crib he had ever seen though. The glass walls were filled with cracks, and instead of a soft, gentle fabric, he made out the color of a dull, splintery brown. He saw that his arms and legs were under some sort of metal clamp. That was all he could see besides some sort of black bird sitting on his chest, and utter Darkness beyond the Crib. It was all very, very blurry to him.
"I... Hello?"
"Good evening, John."
"Who... *Ugh*... Who's there?"
"Only me."

It took a minute for John to realize the sound was coming from the bird. He sighed, laying his head back and looked up into the Darkness beyond the Crib, listening to the sound of the babies. "****... I need to stop eating before bed. This is a weird dream."
"Dream?"
"Yes.... Dream. What is this place suppose to be?"
"This is no dream, John. And I do believe you know this place."
"Oh, do I? Were is this?"
"This is the place your Mother died. You laid in this crib, as all the antibiotics and painkillers failed. This is the Crib you laid in as your Mother screamed bloody murder in the other room, dying because of you."

John raised his head up quickly, eyes straining at the bird. "... My Mother died of something else. Some kind of sickness, not child birth. Dad told me so."
He could make out the Crow nodding. "Ah, yes he did. But do you REALLY believe that John? You've always known back in your mind that it was Child Birth. You know your Dad lied to you to make you feel better. Why lie to yourself, John?"

John still had a headache, but his vision was getting better. He looked at the bird. He could now tell it was a Crow, with burning red eyes.
"I... Why am I talking to you? This is just a dream."
"No, John. No it's not. I can assure you, this is very, very real... And now if you'll excuse me, there seems to be a bit of a family reunion for you to catch up on."

John barley had time to say what before the Crow flew off his chest into the Darkness above. He started to freak out just a little bit, now pulling at the Cuffs that held him down. He very, very much wanted to wake up before this dream got any stranger. The crying of the babies was getting louder. He tried to pull, but it did not work. He was bound tight. The babies cried, louder and louder, and then all at once stop. "John..."
It was a sad, miserable voice of a lady.

He pulled hard at the Cuffs again."Go away!"
"John..."
"I said go away! Get out of here!"
"John... You left me to the Ants, John. You let them throw my body away to the dirt. Why, John. Why?"
"I said get out of here! Get out of my head! Let me wake up!"
"Oh, John. Oh John. You already know this isn't a dream John... You were my baby. The only thing left in life that mattered to me. I just wanted to see you as my baby, John... Just wanted to lay you down in my Crib. Why did you take my life from me, John? Why...?"

John's eyes were now very large. He started to pull at the Cuffs. Violently. He started to kick his arms and legs, only hurting himself as the splinters below went into him. The fact that he could feel pain made him start to panic even more.
"Why, John? Why?"

He started to sweat more, pulling harder and harder. He jumped up as he felt something soft drift by him. Looking down, he saw that there was a baby bib now around his neck. It was stained with blood.
"Just wanted to see my baby, John... You threw me to the Ants."

He spoke loudly, stuttering. "I sa-said to leave me alone! Let me wake up!"
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. John, there is no dream. Only the illusion of you thinking it is one. You threw me to the Ants as a baby, John. I'm about to throw them back at you...."

John looked up, as he saw a baby's bottle come down from the Darkness. It fell on his chest. He looked at it for a moment, as the crying of the babies resumed. He didn't quite understand what was happening... And then the bottle rose up, hovering in the air. It stayed there for a moment, and then flew at John. It rammed itself into his mouth. He tried to spit it out, but some sort of duct tape seemed to come from nowhere and tape itself around, binding it to him. He started to scream, but his voice was reduced to a small whimper when he saw the inside of the bottle. It was completely filled with very large, bright red, Fire Ants. He suddenly became afraid to move. Afraid to blink. Afraid to breathe.

"John, my little baby........ I hope you choke on the things."

His eyes now practically popped out of his head, watching in horror as the Ants all turned, and started to crawl towards his mouth. He yelled out in complete terror, but his voice was muffled by the tape. He started to move everything, becoming scratched up and clawed up by both the Cuffs and the Splinters beneath him. The babies around him now also cried out, louder than ever. As the Ants reached his mouth, his scream of fear was loud enough to be heard through the tape.

In the distance, a Scarecrow watched with pen and paper, taking notes on the Humans behavior to fear.

Within the city, a shadow stirred violently. Suddenly, large other-worldly eyes appeared in the darkness, a large form slowly materializing from the shadows. The demon, once again the hulking variety that trashed the club, raised a massive blade onto its shoulder, barking orders to the shadows behind it. "I smell them...the sweet scent...of fresh meat..." the creature growled, grinning toothily at the darkness, which suddenly produced many similar eyes, who quickly emerged behind their leader...

Drake reached into a pocket, drawing a Beretta from it, passing it back to Carter. "That's the best i have to offer that i don't need" he said as he stopped the car on an empty street about half a block from the warehouse. "Alright guys. you get off here. i'll be back in a minute or two"...
