Tyretros moved away slowly, glad that the tiger had already caught something, which spared him from a fight that didn't have to happen. The maneless lion continued through the jungle, hoping to find his way back into the savanna, knowing the hyenas weren't smart enough to follow him this far, thinking that the stupid mutts still thought he was in the rocky ledges. Stalking through the undergrowth, the scent of Zebra reached Tyretros, knowing that Zebra spent almost all of their time on the savanna, speeding up his movements...

Darkfur was now feeding on the deer he had killed a few minutes ago, the tooth marks on it's throat being the indication it was the bite of a leopard. He briefly glaced about and scented the air to make sure that any tigers or other leopards that might want to take his meal might be nearby. Once satisfied that he was alone, The hungry carnivore bit the deer's neck again and ripped a chunk of flesh off before he swallowed it...

[deciding to give this RPG one more chance to get active, before locking it, and maybe deleting it]

the predator walked through the trees, watching a river in the distance, knowing well the threats that lurked within. a low rumbling growl came from the Lion as he picked up the scent of another predator. no...not just one...several. various different scents reached him, a lion, possibly a tiger, and at least one leopard. Nightbane tensed, moving more carefully, trying to find out where the predators were, to try and avoid being taken by surprise...

the massive reptile drifted through the river slowly, swiftly closing in on an area he had, until recently, abandoned. he remembered another crocodile of similar size to himself claimed this territory as his own. their acquaintence was somewhat pleasant, and, due to a recent lack of food elsewhere, he decided it was time to see how that pleasant meeting would serve him...

Azure eye awoke from his sleep, his mouth parting in a yawn as he stretched his front legs. Rising to his feet, he began to walk northeast, heading in the direction of the lake that he frequently drunk from. The tiger quickly scented the air for the possible smell of intruders and no unusual scents reached his nose...

A brown, fairly large rat snake slivered through the forest, it's oink tounge flicking in and out, it's sleek body moving fast through the under brush. It suddenly stopped, it tasting the scent of a new, strange creature in it's midst. It lay motionless for a second, still smelling the creature. Suddenly, from above, a lightning fast strike hit the rat snake in the back, Silver Hood perched on a tree branch partially coiled, his tail hanging off the branch a bit. The rat snake had slithered off a few feet, but the well placed bite had distributed the nerotoxin through it's body. Taking his time, Silver Hood moved to the tree trunk, slithering down it and serpintining over the jungle floor to the rat snake, positioning himself so that when he bit and began to swallow it head first, it would be a smooth trip down...

The sheer ferocity and merciless attacks of a certain gigantic crocodile has left an adult hippopotamus ripped to shreads and now currently being served as food. Blood Scar once more enjoyed a challenging yet rewarding meal as it continued to hungrily rip into the carcess. The blood and dead body has caught the attention of several crocs who had arrived but the sight of Blood Scar itself meant they had to wait their turn as usual but that means more fighting in between to see who ate second. Blood Scar took a swift break in his meal as he gave a warning growl to the competiton..keeping them in order as he finished.

Having now finished eating from his kill, Darkfur set off at a walking pace back in the direction of his territory, thirst now being his main concern for the momment. He had consumed most of the flesh on the dead deer, except for a large portion of it's left side and some on the limbs. He moved at a leisurly pace, yet remained alert in case another predator might be watching him...

Tyretros finally reached the end of the jungle, seeing the wide plains of the savanna ahead. Breathing a sigh of relief, the maneless lion scanning the horizon for the source of the scent that brought him there. Zebras...a perfect meal, if he could get close enough to attack one. Tyretros kept low to the ground, using the familiar tall grass of the plains to hide himself, slowly closing the gap between him and his prey...

Nightbane watched the black leopard warily. he remained silent, eying the leopard from the shadows, so focused and still that one would think he was a statue, were it not for the steady breathing...

Gustav drifted through the water, the scent of hippo reaching his nostrils as he got close to his destination...

Darkfur, unaware that he was being watched, continued walking at his current pace. He was moving rather quietly, meaning only something that was very close to him would be able to hear his foot falls. As he walked, the leopard passed under the shadow of a tree trunk, his fur seeming to become a part of the shadow before he was no longer beneath it...

The gigantic croc slowly crawled his way into the bank of the river. Filled up and sleepy. The croc looked towards the remains of the food as the smaller...weaker crocs finally had their turn on eating at the food. Blood Scar didnt care...he had ate all the best parts anyway and he wouldnt mind a nap.

Nightbane stepped out of the foliage, following the Leopard. he was in need of a meal and didn't feel like hunting. the scent of the Leopard hinted towards a recent meal. he'd squeeze the information out of it, and, failing that, kill it for a meal. in the jungle it would be difficult for the Leopard to bolt, meaning an easier job for Nightbane....

a low rumble could be heard in the water as Gustav slowly swam towards the shore, the scent of Hippo drawing his attention. none of these crocs were quite as big as the territory owner, and Gustav expected it wouldn't take much to force them off of their meal. once he had had enough to take the edge off his hunger, then he'd get down to business...

Azure eye was at the northern border of his territory, doing a patrol. Nothing eventful had happened to him recently and the tiger was bored. As he scented the air for any scents of intruders, he thought to himself:"Patrolling my territory is better than doing nothing at all."

a low snarl rumbled out behind the Leopard as Nightbane made his presence known, having decided he was close enough...

Darkfur slowly turned upon hearing the growl and to his suprise, saw Nightbane. The leopard hissed calmly:"You again? What do you want from me?"

The gigantic croc snarled as it absorbed the African Sun. His rough, dark surface easily attracting heat at a swift rate. As a cold blooded animal, he tended to do this often. The creature slowly closed his eyes...ready for nap but kept his eyes open, watching the other crocs have their attempt to eat on what remained on the dead body.

"Well look who it is...it's been a while. to think i nearly attacked a friend...tell me, how goes your pickings?" he growled. he was genuinely surprised that it was the same leopard he had come across over a week ago. he had quite nearly ripped it to shreds for food. he made a mental note to remember the scent properly this time...

the massive form drifted closer to the numerous crocs eating the hippo, a low rattling, rumbling growl echoing out over the splashes and snarling of the smaller crocs as Gustav closed in, ready to slaughter anything that tried to get in his path...

Darkdur growled:"My pickings? The most recent picking i had was a deer." The question from Nightbane had suprised him and the fact that the same lion had found him again puzzled him...

Blood Scar had rested for several moments when he then suddenly opened one of his eyes and he took note of the smaller crocs taking at the hippo but suddenly realized they stopped eating and turned around and turn their attention back towards another massive croc who was approaching the dead meal...

another rumbling growl came from Gustav as he moved in closer. regardless of the number of crocodiles there, his bad luck further down river had left him surprisingly hungry. he'd probably eat the first thing that got between him and the hippo corpse. as he swam further towards his goal, he shot menacing glances at the smaller crocs, warning them not to dare try and stop him....

"And i assume there's a small amount left that you couldn't eat?" growled Nightbane, his tone almost suggesting it was to be his...
